Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

I’m excited about Sony. When I heard the rumours about backwards compatibility I thought it was too good to be true. When I heard that you’d be able to one day play every generation on one system I nearly peed my pants. I’m a PlayStation guy since day one.
That being said, I’m just excited for e3 in general, I’ve done lots of pc gaming and pc always has a great showing at e3.
I’m excited about the ps5!!!! Let’s see what beast they have created!
I’m excited to hear more about the new Marvel Avenger’s game by Square Enix. Which will be revealed at E3 2019. It will be for PS4, Xbox One and PC. I can’t wait to see trailers for the game! It’s perfect timing for all the Marvel fans. It’s a game I will definitely want to add to my collection.
Marvels Avengers sounds like the type of game I have been wanting since I was a kid! Can’t wait to hear more about it!
Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2 (not to forget about Super Mario Maker) brings back childhood memories when a bunch of friends and I had the idea to draw our own Super Mario levels and one day pitch it to Nintendo. Ahhh the childhood dreams. I’m excited to see the new updates for Super Mario Maker 2. But this game would be an awesome way to continue what we started from our childhood until now. *Excited* for the June 28, 2019 release date!!! (I still have remained in touch with 1 of the friends whom shared this Mario making dream back in the 1980’s.) Still a kid at heart! <3
I’m excited to find out if the rumours about a new Nintendo switch console are true. I’m also nervous because I don’t want to get a whole new console, but I’m still excited.
Looking forward to seeing more about Cyberpunk 2077. The game looks so dense and gorgeous. CDPR made such a great game with Witcher 3, and this one looks to be shaping up into something even better
I’m excited for the new Mario game for Nintendo. I have heard a lot about it and would be great to test it out in a new switch console.
Death Stranding (Kojima Productions) definitely has me excited. I look forward to being confused and amazed!
After so many years of boarding the hype-train, only to see it to derail and crash, I’m not so quick as to hype on any games anymore. That said, there is one announcement that I’m hoping that gets made, that will seriously hyped me: Baldur’s Gate 3 on PC.
I mean, it hasn’t been seriously announced yet, only teased and somewhat confirmed in the metadata of a website. It looks like it will be made by Larian Studios, and will for sure be on PC. I love cRPGs, and the isometric ones from the late 90s hold a special place in my heart. I spent a lot of hours playing the likes of Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate, Fallout 1 and 2, icewind Dale 2, Diablo, Etc. I want more of that, and I’m glad that isometric cRPGs are having a bit of a renaissance right now.
Speaking of RPGs from the 90s, I’m really hoping we get more news on the Grandia remaster for the Switch. That was one of my favourite RPGs on the PlayStation, and I’d love to play through it again with the enhancements that they said they are going to make to the game. GungHo is at the helm of development for this one, and handled the excellent PC remaster of Grandia 2. That one is also supposed to be coming to Switch.
The third one I’m looking forward to is Trails of Cold Steel 3 for PlayStation 4. That one is developed by Nihon Falcom, and porting duties handled by NISA. I absolutely love the first two games in this series, and am deeply invested in the Legend of Heroes series as a whole. I’d really like to play Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki at some point.
Nintendo, Super Mario Party! The announcement of this game always brings me back. I grew up playing this iconic game on all consoles, starting with N64. This game brought my friends together in a very unique and fun way that hadn’t been seen before. As we got older, this game kept us feeling young. Every new version coupled with the new console’s technology has never disappointed! I’ll probably still play this game with friends when I’m 60! Well done Nintendo.
The Avengers by Square Enix for sure
The new storylines and graphics in the games are always amazing!
I’m hoping for news on Bayonetta 3 during the Nintendo Direct. I’ve been waiting for what feels like an eternity for it.
I’m most excited for Gearbox software’s, Borderlands 3 because The borderlands series was my favorite series to play and I’ve been waiting for a sequel for a long time!
I am beyond excited to see more on Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls 6! I’ve been an avid Elder Scrolls fan since day 1 and it’s been too long since Bethesda’s last release of Skyrim. Give us more info and a release date Bethesda!!
I am excited about the final fantasy vii remake. The original is one of my most played games and i am excited to see the progress they have made

Death Standing by Kojima Productions for PS4! So excited to see what the father of Metal Gear has in store for us. The latest trailer has me excited and confused. Can’t wait for November 8.
I’m looking forward to halo infinite and seeing what 343 is going to do to make Halo THE GAME it once was.
I’ve enjoyed 343’s entries into the series, but they haven’t been as memorable as Bungie’s trilogy. The series has taken a hit and after last years teaser and the hype it created, I confident they’re going to knock it out of the park.
As we’re getting closer to next gen, I have a feeling this will be the killer app, THE GAME, that’s going to get people to jump back into Microsoft’s next console and brand.
No pressure right? It’s going to be a memorable E3 for Microsoft and Halo. I’m ready.
Mostly very excited for what Bethesda will be bringing to the table but also incredibly excited for the new far cry:new dawn game! Both for PS4 and PC! I love those games! The stories game play and graphics are amazing every single time! Ubisoft really does an amazing job making good games. I loved the previous games because I was able to play them on laptops that weren’t the newest so.
The E3 2019 announcement of Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order PS4 game by Respawn Entertainment has me most excited. I’ve been a massive original trilogy Star Wars fan since I was little. I love that this takes place just before the original trilogy. I was a big fan of The Force Unleashed video game series. So it’s nice to finally see another single player story driven game about a young jedi coming to be.
Marvel’s The Avengers game by Square Enix has me excited. Ps4
Looking forward to the next gen consoles because they can be so much more powerful than the already impressive consoles currently on the market
I am very excited for squares new Avengers game announcement. I’m an also hoping to hear more news on Metroid prime 4, Borderlands 3, and hopefully the next Smash Brothers character!! E3 is always a blast, can’t wait for all the announcements 🙂 .

I’m most excited to see what Bungie will be revealing about the future of Destiny 2. I’m a huge D2 fan and can’t wait to see what’s coming next for the franchise!
So far my favourite games on PS4 are God of War, Uncharted – The thief’s end and Marvel’s Spider-Man. I am looking forward to play The Ghost Of Tsushima and Marvel’s Avengers.

I’m really excited about the PS5! It’ll be a real step up from the current gaming system and plus it’ll be compatible with all the previous generation games. Definitely looking forward to getting back into gaming a little.

I’m REALLY looking forward to Pokemon: Sword and Shield for the Nintendo Switch from Gamefreak. I’ve played all of the mainline Pokemon games since my early childhood, so seeing the new generation on a nextgen console will be amazing.

Final Fantasy 7 has forever been my favorite game of all time and I am very hyped we are getting some news on Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake!! Borderlands 3 by 2K/Gearbox also looks amazing, and of course great titles from Nintendo: Astral Chains, Luigi’s Mansion, and Pokémon Sword/Shield.

I initially wasn’t sold on Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding for PS4 but I was definitely curious. Then that launch date trailer came out this week and I was blown away. I still don’t know what it’s fully about but I’m on-board to find out. The FF7 remake trailer is also a highlight of the year so far.
Excited about beyond good evil 2, avenger game, and just watching every year the e3 its like going to movie theater full of surprise 🙂

I’m super hyped up for Death Stranding, it’s been another long wait for Kojima’s next game, ever since his unexpected departure from Konami. So much mystery and intrigue (a typical strength for Kojima games that generates so much nostalgia back to the MGS2 reveal back in the days), and Sony’s announcement it will be released this Nov seems too surreal
I’m interested and excited in the Pokemon company and game freak’s new games for the switch called Pokemon sword and Pokemon shield.
the reason I’m excited is because I like Pokemon what more can I say.
I am most excited about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn because as a kid I grew up with the movies and the old games, so I would love to see a young padawan struggling to stay alive because he is a Jedi. I enjoy story games because it brings another POV of what the Star Wars Universe was like. It may be a bad thing because it’s Single Player only, but I don’t believe this kind of game needs Single Player to be perfect.
Bring on Nintendo switched PIKMIN 4. It’s due and that’s what I’m waiting to hear about at E3.
I’m most excited for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment. It looks a lot like one of my favourite games ever: Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic which was a big part of my childhood. I’ve been hoping for a remake of it for years and this looks like the closest thing, so I really hope it’s great! Hope I win!

I really want to see a Fable 4 announcement from Microsoft. I had so much fun with the series growing up. I game where your decisions effected how tour character looked, how the environment changed, and how the world evolved around you was a feature and concept ahead of its time!
I remember getting lost in this world for hours on end, laughing for days from the witty humour, and spending every second trying to unlock all of the secrets.
