Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. FINAL FANTASY 7! Don’t let me down, Square Enix! FF7 absolutely blew my mind as a child and completely changed the way I look at the JRPG genre; the new remake got me hype af.
I’m excited for any info on the Borderlands 3 game coming out this year from Gearbox. I’ve also heard they will be announcing new DLC for Borderlands 2, which would be so much fun to have something new to play while we wait for the new game to be released in the fall.
I’m excited for the announcement coming from Paradox Interactive this October as I have hopes it is related to Crusader Kings 2, which is my favourite game.
I’m interested and excited in the Pokemon company and game freak’s new games for the switch – Pokemon sword and Pokemon shield.
I’m very excited about The Last of Us Part II announced by Sony. I love adventure games and this is the sequel to the game that got me into gaming. The story, graphics, performances and gameplay look amazing from the trailers I have seen. I can’t wait to immerse myself in Ellie’s world again. I’m hoping Sony will announce at E3 that The Last of Us Part II will be released before the end of the year as it would definitely justify me buying a PS4 as a Christmas present for my family this year.
Animal Crossing for Nintendo Switch! Can’t wait to see more of it!!
As a PS4 player who has been missing out on some PC tactical shooters, I’m looking forward to Insurgency: Sandstorm by New World Interactive coming to consoles in 2019. Although games like Rainbow Six: Siege have started delivering tactical experiences to the PS4, I’d like something more grounded and traditional in terms of gameplay mechanics to play as well. Games like CoD usually have one-life modes, but as a sideshow rather than the main course, so I find they suffer from being second thoughts when it comes to support as well as map and weapon design.
Looking forward to play Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 remake!

Definetely Pokemon Sleep announced by the Pokemon company, I was always interested in Pokemon Go but my data plan and battery suck. Also I love sleeping and it’ll give me a chance to game around the clock now haha.
Anything and everything PC related especially the new upcoming VR headsets and related software for eracing & flight simulation and content streaming on Twitch , Youtube & Facebook Live.

I’m excited about Oculus Quest! Love it! Beat Sabre is awesome!
This year I started playing the finale fantasy games for the first time, I love them and have been playing them on my switch, just beat FF9, now working on FF7. I can’t wait to see how square makes this new marvel game! Also would love to hear if they are redoing the fallout games for the switch!!! I just enjoy playing my games on there because it’s so convenient!

Most excited for Last of Us 2 by Naughty Dog and seeing more of it at E3. The first one was one of my favourite games of all time and I hope the sequel makes it out this year even though signs are pointing towards a 2020 release.
Apparently there will be a new Nintendo Switch announced? That’ll be exciting!

I can’t wait for Borderlands 3 and COD Modern Warfare
Cyberpunk by CD Projekt Red has me most excited. The last game to truly dominate my leisure time was the Witcher 3 and I’m anticipating they will be able to do it again with Cyberpunk. I cannot wait to see some more gameplay and maybe get an idea of a release date or release window for this title.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. I have been waiting for a good story based Star Wars game to out since forced unleashed, I’m tired of only online gaming options.
Definitely The Last of Us 2 from Naughty Dog. The Last of Us changed how I look at games, it’s story got me totally invested in the game and I cant wait to see how they continue it.
Impossible for it to be anything other than Marvel’s Ultimate Alliance 3… The first of the series was my favourite game growing up and now I can’t wait to try it on the Switch!

I am looking forward to the new DLC character announcement for Super Smash Brother Ultimate from Nintendo. Also Jedi Fallen Order by EA.
I’m very excited for Nintendo at E3 as they will be announcing the new titles for animal crossing and Pokémon sword and shield. I’ve loved those two franchises since I was a kid so I can’t wait. I’m also curious how Microsoft have developed fable 4 as I enjoyed the the series on Xbox previously but I am anxious if it can live up to the hype. We will see.
I’m most excited to learn about the next generation of consoles by Microsoft and Sony. Eager to see what the future of gaming will look like. Also excited to learn more about Death Stranding by Kojima. Should be a great E3!
Death Stranding for PS4 is probably the most anticipated game of the year for me!
Can’t wait to see if the simpsons hit and run classic is getting a remake of an entirely new game. They have a panel at e3 this year and loved playing it as a kid. Can’t wait to see what it is.

I am absolutely stoked for Borderlands 3, especially it being announced that it’s coming later this year. I have platinumed all games, Borderlands 2 and the Pre-sequel twice actually and will be starting another playthrough of the newly remastered Borderlands. I actually love Borderlands so much I’ve bought the games a total time of 6 times, the handsome collection counts as one, once on both the PS3 and PS4. Even when I had apparently lost the original Borderlands GOTY edition, I went to the store and bought it again… only after a few years, I found the original disc again, I had put it in my CD folder behind another disc accidentally. Smooth move on my part. lol
All games in the series, including the TTG, have been a blast to play through. I rarely ever buy games at full price but Borderlands 3 might break this trend for me, only time shall tell. Gearbox and 2K have made a gem of a series with the Borderlands games. Tiny Tina’s song when we first meet her in Borderlands 2 is so epic I still sing it to this day. It is going to be an epic adventure to continue! YAY!
I’m so excited for the new COD modern warfare, I can’t wait to feel that nostalgia when my friends and I play together. I honestly think the previous game was the best COD of all time and hopefully the new one will be able to pull in the same numbers.
Borderlands 3 baby!!!!!
Borderlands 3 from Gearbox an 2k. I’ve been getting more hyped for this every day. Me and a buddy have matching Crimson Raiders tattoos. Getting to see this game grow and evolve has been a treat. They have put out a good group of games, and it looks like we’ve got another one coming. I’d love a ps4 to get to play this with friends.
I’m totally looking forward to seeing what the next big thing from Ubisoft will be. Currently playing AC: Oddessy and loving it. I also want to hear more about the PS5 and Cyberpunk 2077!
The 2019 gaming announcement that has me most excited at the moment is Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This is because it showcases my favourite aspects of any video game: Stealth action gameplay, intense online multiplayer and it’s heavily built around teamwork. I think Breakpoint is the complete package. It places you in a large open world that’s perfect to explore and create your own plan for completing missions. And what better company to create that environment for gamers then Canada’s own game studio Ubisoft.

I’m most excited about the new Pokemon games for the Switch from Nintendo, Pokemon Company and GameFreak! Pokemon was the first ever video game I played way back on the original black and white gameboy, and I finally purchased a switch in anticipation of the new games

Death Stranding by Kojima would be the game I’m most excited about. It’ll probably be the last biggest game on the Ps4, before shifting to PS5 in 2020. Also it’s the first game for Kojima on it’s own. Can’t wait!
