Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. OMGGG I CANT WAIT FOR DYING LIGHT 2 to drop, It is hands down the best zombies game I’ve ever played, and the fact that they’re making the story 10 times longer than the original genuinely eases my heart. I cannot wait for this game to drop.
For games, I thin Cyberpunk 2077 is this most awaited and exciting. Not that it’s an “announcement” but we do still know very little.
For hardware, for sure the new consoles. PS5? XBox “Two” (LOL)? I’m super excited for the new generation. 🙂
The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan Release date was so important to me. Until dawn brought my friends and I close together. I cannot wait to see what’s in store within this series
I am excited for super Mario 2
Man i’ve waited for The Last of Us 2 since it released the trailer about a year ago already and cant wait to hear more about the release date this year. Please, playstation, make it happen soon as i will know for sur, many fans of TLOU would love this.
Besides, I would for sure want to hear more about Switch Pro from Nintendo. I have been waiting until now for this m, one of the reason i didnt purchase any Nintendo Switch yet.
I’m most excited for the Avengers Assemble release by Square Enix. I have followed the MCU very closely since the beginning and I am a very big fan of Square Enix visualization and storytelling. I’m also incredibly excited to see what the lead designer of GoWs battle mechanics is going to do with each Avengers character. There’s a lot of similarities with kratos’ use of the leviathan axe to Thor’s hammer throw. Anthem got hit hard in the reviews but I was honestly blown away by how clean the flight mechanics transitioned into active battle and I hope Square Enix is able to replicate this to some degree with iron man. I’m most excited by the “Link To The Past” remake announcement by Nintendo. It was one of the first video games I ever played and one of the greatest of all time. I can’t wait to play it with new graphics and experience it all over again!
I cant wait for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 because I’ve been playing those games since childhood! And also Ghost of Tsushima!

I’m honestly pretty excited for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. The last CoD game I actually enjoyed (for both the campaign and multiplayer) was Black Ops 2. I loved the entire storyline of the original Modern Warfare trilogy and am pretty stoked to see Captain Price is back! The graphics look so good and can’t wait to play it on my PS4 Pro. Infinity Ward also seem they want this to be a lot more grounded and realistic compared to the last few CoD games which I am all for!
Very much looking forward to the Cyberpunk 2077 announcement from CD Projekt Red. The game looks outstanding, from immersive visuals to complex story. Along those lines, it’ll be great to experience the concept of “no wrong choice” and how these choices will affect your later gameplay. It’ll also be cool to see how your chosen background affects your story progression, namely the “big event” and “why you’re in Night City”. CP2077 is gonna be great!
Square enix’s avengers project. As a long time marvel fan I’ve been patiently waiting for a fantastic superhero game. And after endgame my wants skyrocketed. I hope that this game is a mastahpiece, and whether I win this contest or not, destiny arrives all the same.
I’m very excited to hear about the Animal Crossing Switch announcement! This game is developed and published by Nintendo. I remember as a kid, around the age of 11, all my friends in school had Animal Crossing for the Original Nintendo DS. I always was amazed by the visuals and the game play of this game. I rarely got to play it unfortunately since I wasn’t able to afford one at the time… I would love to see how it looks like now many years later on a Switch! And maybe one day be able to play this game.
Super excited for Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch. Really hoping that we will get a release date, and I am intrigued by the beauty of the world that they have created, and the sword combat that the game offers to to players.
I’m waiting for the release of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. My kids and I are Star Wars fans and this is the game that we all have been waiting for.
I simply cannot wait to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint by Ubisoft.
I’m a huge fan of tactical shooter games and this series provide me exactly what I want. Not a huge fan of the always online requirement though.
I’m excited about the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe by Nintendo. I love playing the Mario Karts with my daughters. It would be fun to enjoy family time playing a new game. Than you for the opportunity to win one of these prize packs.
The biggest announcement of 2019 for me is The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening by Nintendo because I have been a huge Legend of Zelda fan since Ocarina of Time on N64

Borderlands 3. Yes, it’s been announced, but I cannot wait to see this game come out! I remember playing Borderlands 1 for the first time split screen with my step-brother and… It was awful. Atrocious. Hated it.
Years later, I picked up Borderlands 2 one on a whim (and a sale haha) and I fell in love with the game. So much so that I bought it 3 seperate times on different consoles! It amazed me how different it was from my experience with the first game. Whatever the team did between games was revolutionary to me, and I am beyond excited to see what they have in store for Borderlands 3!

The announcement for Borderlands 3 for Xbox One by Gearbox Software has me the most excited. The series means a lot to me and I can’t wait for this one to release in a September.

The upcoming Avengers game by Square Enix (and Crystal Dynamics) with amazing games like Batman Arkham Series and Marvel’s Spider-man we are due for an awesome Avengers game! Maybe I will use this one as an opportunity to get an Xbox One X or Switch!

I am super excited for super Mario maker 2 by Nintendo – I am a big PS4 and Switch player and have really enjoyed all of the Mario games especially mario maker 1. The changes coming to mario maker 2 will make it incredible! I am very excited – and would love to win this contest!
Honestly, I can’t believe I’ll be saying this but the new Call of Duty Modern Warfare looks absolutely amazing. Activation and infinity ward will finally be able to sway me away back to a PS4 thanks to this game. I have not played any of the CoD games since MW3 and I am really looking forward to getting both the game and hopefully winning a PS4 pro to play on it.

Unfortunately not official yet but I do believe Sony will be announcing the release of a ps5 even if it’s not at E3
