Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. For games, Cyberpunk 2077, for sure. It’s not an announcement, but we don’t know much about it yet. Very excited for it.
For hardware, the new consoles. PsS5? Xbox “Two” (LOL)? Looking forward for the new Generation.
The most exciting announcement of 2019 is Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening by Nintendo. Ocarina of time was one of the first games where I felt absolutely immersed in the storyline and never wanted it to end. Since then, I’ve always enjoyed Zelda games but I’ve never place Link’s Awakening. As a legendary game in its own right, this new release will give me an opportunity to have a first play through of the game on with a beautiful modern spin on the graphics. I absolutely cannot wait.
I’m most excited for Halo Infinite from 343 Industries for the Xbox One because I grew up playing Halo and I am looking forward to where the story will take us.
I am looking forward to the new avengers game made by square enix. It’s important to me because I love the marvel universe!
This would be a great birthday present for my nephew.
It’s going to be a great year for games!
Borderlands 3 for PC is coming and I’ve already got the pre-order in for the Ultimate Deluxe version!

I’m really excited for this years Nintendo Switch releases especially Pokémon Sword and Shield. This game looks AMAZING and I cannot wait to explore new regions and catch new species! I’ve been playing Pokémon since generation 2 so I have to keep going!
There’s three things I want from this E3:
– Final Fantasy VII Remake, because with the exception of Xenogears, this is the remake I’ve been expecting for since 2000.
– Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order because this is the first time I’ve been genuinely hyped for something Star Wars in the last three years, and I just realized how much I missed it.
– To confirm the rumora about a Nintendo switch portable edition, because I want a switch and I don’t have available ports on my TV…
Crash team racing nitro-fueled!!! I’ve been playing this since I was little!! And I’m excited for this one to come out because I’ve lost the game crash bandicoot 🙁
The Activision Marvel game has me pretty excited. Almost as excited as I am for Ultimate Alliance III

I’m most excited about Pokemon Sword and Shield from Nintendo/The Pokemon Company/Game Freak! It’s been a few years since I’ve played through a pokemon game, and am really looking forward to getting back into it!
I’m most excited for the new Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo Switch! Would be my incentive to finally own a Switch too. XD
So stoked for the Death Stranding game from Kojima productions with Sony on the PS4. Need to make the switch to PlayStation with all the great titles coming out.
I am excited for Dragon Age 4 by BioWare (EA). My girlfriend introduced me to the series (it’s her favorite in all the games ever) and I feel in love with it. It’s great and every time I play it, it makes me think of her, so 2 birds with one stone! The games are well crafted, look and, most importantly, SOUND nice (I am an audio designer), so they have an important spot in my heart!
I am absolutely most excited for Borderlands 3. I have been waiting for this game for years. Played BL2 through at least 4 times and can’t wait to get my hands on the new BL from gearbox.
I’m excited for super Mario 2!
Square Enix Marvel : The Avengers game! Ive always been a big fan of the Avengers and Marvel in general so im so excited to play the game!
I’m excited for Super Mario 2 by Nintendo because I have spent countless hours during my childhood.
Im very excited for POKÉMON Sword and Shield by Nintendo and Game Freak I’ve always been a pokémon fan since Pokemon crystal and i haven’t played it again since X & Y on the 3ds… and i now I’ll get to see it played in Nintendo Switch! Im so hype for this game!
I am most excited about Roller Champions, a roller derby game. Although it wasn’t technically announced by Ubisoft- it was leaked. I’ve been a long time fan of roller derby but never had the courage/time to actually give it a go myself. I obviously know playing roller derby on a console isn’t going to be the same thing as playing the actual sport, but I bet it’ll be a lot of fun!
VR games by any major dev, this genre needs AAA titles to drive the hype! VR is amazing and I’m hoping Valve is there with the index! The game is looking forward to most is Pavlov for VR. Looks amazing !
Cannot wait for Pokemon Shield and Sword to be announced very soon. Always look forward to new additions to the Pokémon series. Nintendo always makes my favourite consoles!
I’m looking forward to Marvel Avengers.. pretty sure Square Enix is going to build a strong, solid kind of open game with this fascinating universe!

Pokémon Sword and Shield have got me hyped but I’m also looking forward to what Square Enix is going to do with The Avengers property.
The new call of duty modern warfare looks amazing and really can’t wait till it comes out! The call of duty franchise has been going down hill the past couple years.But, ever since it did, I have been exploring and expanding my games. I started to play Mario kart 8 and had been giving me great nostalgic memories from my Nintendo ds days. Winning any of the prizes would mean a lot to me. Currently unemployed and not having the financial income to buy some of these expansive games is really sad. Love shopping at bestbuy and hope i won
Anything off the Square Enix booth really as a company what ever they have a hand in usually does well in my books, a look into their new avengers game should be a decent show as well

I’m excited for the release of Borderlands 3 by Gearbox Software because it’s a series that my teenage sons and I have spent many awesome hours playing together. It can be challenging to find a multiplayer game that two very different teenagers will agree to play with their mum!
Kingdom Hearts 3
I’m excited for Borderlands 3 by Gearbox Software, because game looks very interesting not just from a graphics standpoint but from the story. I never had a chance to play the first two games but it doesn’t mean I can’t get the third one. It would be something cool to play with my friends and family, and from what I heard from the first two it’s going to be a pretty fun game.
Definitely anything related to the final fantasy 7 remake. My favourite game since I was 10 years old is being remade and I still can’t believe it.
I’m excited for the announcement of the Square Enid Avengers game. I’m a huge Marve fan, and the Spider-Man game is one of my favourite games ever, so I can’t wait for more awesome Marvel games from an awesome company!

Super excited to hear more about the new Star Wars Jedi: the Fallen Order! Game is by EA, hosted by Greg Miller and Andrea Rene!!!!!!! Growing up I’ve been a fan of everything Star Wars! There have been so many characters over the years that have inspired me , looking forward to see how this new main character will influence the Star Wars brand!
We are really excited for the release of Zelda: Link’s awakening from Nintendo! I have fond memories of playing this game way back when and can’t wait to see it remade! We love our Nintendo switch!
Final Fantasy 7 remake from Square Enix! I have been waiting for this game for years!! I loved playing this game when I was younger. It was the game that made me ask my parents for a Playstation over a Nintendo 64! I still have it to this day but i cant wait to play it in 4k!!
Death Stranding by Lord Kojima Productions
Im waiting for a lot of new games like call of duty modern warfare also the next battlefield and lot more. I would also love to test some games on the switch.
I’m really looking forward to Sekiro for PS4. I’ve been a fan of Yakuza (SEGA, RGG STUDIO) and really loving these Japanese-themed games! As of now, I am still waiting for Yakuza 3 4 5 for PS4 (non-digital) to come out in North America. There are no dates yet, it seems, but it doesn’t hurt to hope.
I’m looking forward to both Microsoft and sony’s Announcement of their next gen consoles. This would sway my purchasing habits in the foreseeable future. Which tech and gaming diversity will win out for me and fellow consumers
I’m most excited about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I am excited to see what aspects they will change and bring into the new instalment.
Destiny 3- I only jumped on the train when the second one became free, but everything about the game is enjoyable. The environments are beautiful, the music is amazing, and the gameplay, while PvP isn’t perfect, is still quite good. I’m hoping it manages to live up to the hype
Ori and the Will of the Wisps. I played the original and the artwork, music, and gameplay were all incredible (which you don’t see very often anymore). It actually managed to touch me emotionally, and I actually ended up learning the songs on piano. If the sequel is even half as good as the original, it’ll be my favourite game of the year.
I am very excited to hear more new news about the latest gaming coming out for the Switch such as Pokèmon sword and shield! Especially this being the first main line gen coming out for this system. Along with Dragon Ball Z Project 2019 which I’m very excited about, unfortunately still haven’t seen any updates or news about it since the only original trailer for the game.
Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Switch!! Although it’s one less spoken about, when I first saw Isabelle in last years E3 for Nintendo, I fliPPED out. After spending almost a thousand hours on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, I’ve been extremely hyped to return from playing other casual games such as Stardew Valley and dare I say Minecraft. Even if I don’t win a prize pack, I’m very excited to share my… well, excitement like ahhh!!!! High def Julian the unicorn and ugh, K.K !!!!!! Chiefs my fave but he got no respect 🙁 I also can’t wait to see what new animals can move in! Maybe a kiwi bird? Alright I’ll stop being a try-hard good luck to everybody!
