Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m eager to hear more about the next gen Sony platform. Talk of the PS5 has been scares but I’m sure they’ve got something awesome brewing behind close doors over there at Sony.
Incorporating VR has got to be on the horizon with one of the major console producers so I’m hoping that we’re getting closer to that reality.
I am looking forward to the game, Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt. I saw the 48 minutes gameplay preview and it looks amazing.
The biggest announcement of 2019 for me is The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening by Nintendo because I have been a huge Legend of Zelda fan since Ocarina of Time on N64.
I am looking forward to the game, Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt. It was announced quite awhile ago, and to finally have it come out, is great. I can’t wait.
I’m super excited to see Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild for Nintendo Switch. I remember playing Ocarina of Time on N64 with my son. He fell in love with gaming with the N64 system. It would be amazing to win and gift him any of the prize packs.

I am excited for Atari VCS! I never imagined I would be able to play the games I loved in my childhood on a new system, with new games to explore. I absolutely love retro gaming and it’s something I enjoy to this day. I am so happy that I will be able to explore my favourites in a new and creative way while enjoying new releases as well. I am excited for Mario Maker 2 for the Nintendo Switch, which was recently revealed by Nintendo at one of their Directs. I really enjoyed the first one and I love being able to create my own levels. They put us in the driver’s seat for level design, and that is simply amazing. It looks like it will have quadruple the amount of content. And it does SLOPES!
I’m really excited about Death Stranding. Playstation gave Kojima the exclusivity and I can’t wait to see the full potential of a fully polished game!
Waluigi as a playable character in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Nintendo said everyone would be there but they forgot Waluigi. I expect them to add him at some point #JusticeForWaluigi

I am really excited to see the game Death Stranding from Kojima Productions get a release trailer. PlayStation has always been my gaming home so for it to get a new BIG family member, gets me excited for November!
Gears of War 5 this game is being highly anticipated with the last release of Gears 4 by Microsoft they have shown that they can do what Epic games did in creating the same game flow as the old gears. I have been playing The Gears series since Gears of War 1. I am looking forward to the E3 Presentation and trailers about Gears of War 5. I follow a Gears of war page on facebook and found the announcement on my news feed on facebook.
I’m excited for The Last of us 2 developed by Naughty Dog but since Sony seems to have announced a delay for 2020, I’m still hyped up because the first one got me hook in the first hour and I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in the sequel!

Impatiently waiting for The Master Chief Collection to come out on PC. All pc games including REACH, am I in heaven? Reach at 60fps. Yes please omg. Also Cyberpunk looks very promising. This is going to be the most incredible year for video games, can’t wait for E3.

By far I am most excited for the release of Borderlands 3, when gearbox software made the announcement my pals and I took time off work and school just to watch the stream. I am most excited for this because I have never fallen in love with a franchise before until borderlands. My months or game time recorded are barely enough to show my love for the game and community. Borderlands 2 was a true icon and growing up playing that is something that I am truly happy I got to do. It’s not everyday you come across a game and just can’t stop playing. When I first played borderlands my best friend and I sat in my basement on my xbox 360, put in the disc and played split screen all night long. The fun didn’t stop after that night, we continued playing borderlands games for months and I still can’t stop after logging months there is still stuff I can do that is new to me. If borderlands 3 brings half the fun and excitement I got when I was a kid that will complete my year.
I am very excited for death stranding by Kojima Productions! Hideo Kojima makes amazing games and I am sure this one will not be the exception. I love games that are openworld, that have adventure, mystery and puzzles and I am know all of that will be included in this game. I have been waiting for the game for literally 3 years, that’s what makes it so important, the fact that even though it has been very long since the first announcement, the hype has not decrease, it has rather increase, especially knowing that is the great Hideo Kojima behind it all! I can’t wait for November 8!
Very excited for Cyberpunk 2077. After the masterpiece that’s the Witcher 3 and its impeccable storytelling, we can only imagine and anticipate what CD Projekt Red has in store for us for Cyberpunk 2077.
Gearbox announcing the release date of borderlands 3 on September 13
I’m most excited for the announcement of PS5! We all knew it would be coming but it’s development announcement from Sony makes it feel so much closer to reality. Really love playing Gt sport in VR so I can’t wait to see how the technology can be improved in the next generation of console.

With the announcements so far. I’m most excited for Call of Duty’s Modern warfare. The new announcement trailer brought me back to the teenage days, playing COD 4 and Modern Warfare 2 all day everyday. Can’t wait to see what they do with it!
I’m looking forward to seeing more of cyberpunk 2077 by CD Project red. I played the old pen and paper cyberpunk game way back when and the world is ripe for a great video game.

I’m curious about Star Wars Jedi : Fallen Order game from Respawn Entertainement. In the hype of the 9th movie, everything from Star Wars is nice to be in the mood.
I am most excited for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. As it is going back to its roots of cod 4 and bringing back the old call of duty I once loved. The graphics in this new game are top of the line and am excited to see how the gameplay for multiplayer looks.
Super Mario 2 as I grew up on the Mario games and my kids now love them too!
Im curious to know more about sony absence from the show floor. I love playstation and I hope its not a sign of omen from them. Aside from this it as been a long year since elder scrolls 6 teased us last year and im hungry for more, i need more. Like in 2011 when they showed 30 minutes of skyrim. I cried the whole time. So again i will be attending (online) Bethesda press conference. Cheers and Happy E3

Really excited for Final Fantasy VII Remake by Square Enix. When it first came out I couldn’t put it down. I spent hours Racing chocobos, flying all over the continent, and facing my worst enemy. I was immersed in the game.
I only hope it’s being released for Xbox… If not I might have to acquire a PlayStation.
