E3 2019 gaming contest

Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.

Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. E3 is your source for the most gaming announcements every year

What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

Entering this contest is really easy, but you can only enter once. In a comment beneath this article, tell us what gaming announcement has you most excited in 2019 and why. Include in your comment the manufacturer who made the announcement, the title of the gaming item, and why this announcement is so important to you. Is it a game, a console, or something else? Be specific and clear.

WHAT YOU CAN WIN

At the end of the contest, we will randomly select seven winners from all eligible entries. Each winner will randomly be assigned one of the seven prize packages.

This contest runs from May 30th to June 13th.

  2. Rage 2 for ps4. I loved the first I have played through Rage Anarchy Edition for ps3 many times over the years. In fact that is the reason I still have my PS3.

  3. Mine would have to be two fold. First of all the announcement of Links Awakening. I’ve played every Legend Of Zelda game, and this was the one that really started the obsession for me. I’m really looking forward to sharing the experience with my Step-Son and seeing him react to the game and hopefully hit a spot in his heart that will continue to provide him happy and loving memories.
    Secondly is the Ghostbusters remake. I’m a huge fan of the Ghostbusters as a cultural juggernaut. The original was completely underrated, and a lot of people missed out on it. Hopefully combining this game with the upcoming Ghostbusters movie will bring a whole new faction of young fans to appreciate the classic fandom.

  4. I’m excited for Mario Kart Tour by Nintendo! I have always loved playing Mario Kart, one of the best games ever made!

  6. Borderlands 3 by 2K and Gearbox has me super excited!!! Borderlands is a crazy mix of FPS, RPG, comedy, and unique art styling, so the new game has me stoked!!

  9. I was excited to hear he Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare announcement yesterday, and to see that it’s going to be cross-platform!

  10. Since 343 has been doing a great job lately I’m extremely excited to see what they have in store for halo infinite! Let’s not forget that they’ll probably release some game play footage of Borderlands 3!

  12. I am anxiously, impatiently awaiting Borderlands 3! Can’t wait till its release on the PS!

  13. I am just waiting for another Mario Kart for the switch. I didn’t get the current kart because it was a port from the Wii so I want to see what they will do with the switch implementation.

  15. Cannot wait for Call of duty: Modern Warfare to come out with its huge breakthrough of crossplay between Xbox, PS4 and PC!!!! The squads shall finally be united!!!

  16. I’m really excited for the fallout announcements by Bethesda! Their games are so great and immersive. I can play their games for hours and still feel like playing! I’m currently waiting on Bethesda’s stream of their e3 announcement, I’m really excited on watching this stream! I’ve watched the last one and it was amazing! Bethesda really makes some of the best (in my opinion) games! I really love their looting system. Looting and sandbox games were always my favourite types of genres! Hope everyone good luck on the contest!

  17. I’m looking forward to the video game release of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch by Nintendo. I remember playing the original version on gameboy, and am looking to relive and share the experience with my son!

  25. I am very excited for the release of Destiny 2 Season of Opulence. But I am also very interested in season what Bungie will do now that they have independent freedom from activision, I have always loved playing games created by Bungie since I was a kid playing Halo during its first release on legendary with my brother. Can’t wait to hear the announcent to see where they will be heading for their future goals as a company and with the destiny world.

  40. I’m most excited about the announcement of the game The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch. The legend of Zelda series was huge for me as a kid and gives me a lot of special memories of playing as a kid and trying to figure out all the puzzles while enjoying the epic storylines. I would love a Nintendo switch so I could play the new series.

  41. I’m excited for the remaster of the “Ghostbusters” game across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. It was put out by Terminal Reality, but now the rights are controlled by Saber Interactive and Mad Dog Game. The original version was a lot of fun, and went a bit under the radar, so the remaster is a chance for folks to discover it again!

    I am very excited on Square Enix’s teaser trailer on the FF7 Remake, One of the best games in the Playstation 1 console and as a hardcore RPG fan this is a long time coming. Hoping the rumors about a playable demo releasing with E3 is true and we can all get to experiencing this masterpiece. My nostalgia senses are tingling!

  46. Most excited for a Microsoft announcement made by From Software for what is rumoured to be a Dark Souls Game of Thrones game. This is meaningful to me because I love Game of Thrones and I play every From Software game (on route to platinuming Sekiro right now) Of course this game is a rumour but dreams can come true right?
