Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. I am most excited about Nintendo’s announcements for Legend of Zelda, both the ‘Breath of the Wild’ sequel and ‘Links Awakening.’ I have always loved the Legend of Zelda games and can’t wait for more to come out. The art style looks so cool for ‘Link’s Awakening,’ a throwback to the game’s origin. And ‘Breath of the Wild 2’, come on, that’s just amazing.

Nintendo announced Animal Crossing for the Switch. The game has beautiful visuals, the gameplay tweaks already shown are appealing. Making pathways isn’t a burden anymore! The game is focusing on customization more than it ever has before. It may come in 9 months, but it’ll be worth the wait!
I am definitely most excited for Nintendo’s announcement for a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the Nintendo Switch!! This is so exciting because I grew up playing Zelda and have been waiting so long for a new one!
The announcement of Banjo-Kazooie as DLC for Super Smash Bros Ultimate by Nintendo, got me excited as it was a nostagia trip for me. I remember first learning of Banjo-Kazooie, when it was announced at E3 almost 20 years ago and it was being published in my monthly gaming magazine EGM2, which at the time was announcing its name change to Expert Gamer. It was EGM2 that made me aware of E3, and it is nice to see something from my childhood making its return in todays age of gaming where so many things have changed, including how the E3 event is covered.
I was hoping for a surprise Sony announcement but i guess we’ll have to wait till 2020.
I am most excited about Nintendo’s announcements about Legend of Zelda, both ‘Breath of the Wild’ sequel and ‘Link’s Awakening’. I have always loved the Legend of Zelda games and am super excited that more are on the way. The art style of Link’s Awakening is so cool, a throwback to the games origin. And Breath of the Wild 2, come on what’s not to love about that.
I’m looking forward to seeing and learning more of Sea of Solitude by Jo-Mei Games and published by EA. From what I had seen before of it, it just looks stunning (lush environments) but also intriguing with metaphysical questioning.
Modern Warfare looks the best honestly! That and I’m tempted to get Pokémon Shield as that looks great too. I’ve always loved the modern warfare series and the fact infinity ward is going back to that has me really excited for the PS4 release. As for Pokémon, it honestly looks amazing based on the trailers. Looks like Nintendo and Game Freak did a great job on it! 🙂
Microsoft’s announcement of SEGA’s Phantasy Star Online 2 has me going on all cylinders that I thought had rusted away from the initial announcement back in 2012. I’m eagerly waiting to download it on my computer Spring next year assuming there won’t be any more delays.

Final Fantasy VII Remake, by Square Enix! I’ve been waiting for this moment ever since hearing rumours of a remake yeeeaars ago. I’ve always loved the story and all the games/ movies that branched off from FFVII. I wonder and hope that they release a FFVII edition console, because I need that in my life, just saying. 🙂

I am most excited about Nintendo’s announcement that a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in the works. My son and I really enjoyed playing the game together and look forward to the sequel!
I am ecstatic that Nintendo revealed the BOTW sequel teaser trailer. The trailer, if closely related to to the game itself, looks like a Majoras Mask type of remake which is one of my favourite games. I didn’t expect a trailer so soon that it made me the most excited. I wasn’t planning on getting a switch because I had played a few of the games that had had be excited for the console, but after E3 I am now for sure getting a switch. I am also really happy that they are keeping the game on the same engine and in the same hyrule.
Clearly the next zelda breath of the wild ! Same for Cyberpunk !
The announcement for the new Watchdogs game; Watch_Dogs: Legion, by Ubisoft has me the most stoked. I was a huge fan of the first one and really enjoyed the different style of the second game so to see the 3rd in a new location with new mechanics and characters has me really excited to explore. There are few game like Watch_Dogs which blends new types of puzzles with gunplay, stealth and tech so well.

I’m a big Watch Dogs fan, so the announcement of Watch Dogs: Legion (Ubisoft) was very exciting to me. I really like that it takes place in London. Also hyped for the Avengers game (Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics). Here’s hoping that it’s just as good as Spider-Man on the PS4. Finally I’m very impressed with the Cyberpunk 2077 (CD Projekt Red) content that we saw, will be keeping my eye on that one! 🙂
Excited for the Xbox One for my grandsons!!! Would love to win it for them so that they can play Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, so this would be a great prize for them!!
I am super excited about nintendo’s lineup, especially the new pokemon and animal crossing games. Cyberpunk by CDPR is also pretty high up on the to buy list. They’re all breathtaking!
After E3 I am most excited for cyber punk 2077, one of the most anticipated games announced and I’ve been following the game and its updates like a hawk, and learning more about and having Keanu Reaves show up makes me even more excited to get my hands on it.
I am most excited about Nintendo’s announcement that a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is in active development. I am new to the Nintendo Switch, I have only played Zelda: Breath of The Wild and I LOVED it! I am very interested to try other Nintendo games as I have always been. A big fan of the game style and characters. With the switch bringing a whole new twist to gaming, I’m excited to see what they have in store for us in the future.

I’m really excited for pokemon sword and shield. It’s coming out for the Nintendo switch November 15. It’s the first core game coming out for a console. Nintendo made the announcement in there direct. But elaborated at e3. Game freak and the pokemon company.
Most excited for Nintendo’s Link’s Awakening remake. It’s my partner’s favourite game ever and he’s really looking forward to playing it again in a whole new way. Meanwhile I’ve not played it yet and am very excited to play it for the first time and share his love of the game.
The announcement by Nintendo for a sequel to Breath of the Wild has me excited. The first game game was great, just hoping they add some true dungeons to the sequel. I’ve loved Zelda games since I was a kid and this release will force me to get a Switch.

I am really excited about Borderlands 3. Which was announced at the PAX. I really love this game developed by Gearbox Software. I have played all the Borderland games since first-person shooter is my favorite game genre, and cant wait for this latest release on this series.

The gaming announcement I’m most excited for was provided by Nintendo. I can’t wait to play Luigi’s Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch!! The new game play mechanics look to improve a franchise, that I didn’t think needed needed improving. Adding co-op play is very exciting & important to me, as now my wife & I can work together in taking down all the baddies!!
