Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

I’m most excited for the new Star Wars game on PS4.
Finally!!! I pre-ordered it on Best Buy as soon as I saw it two years ago, and we finally have a release date for FFVII Remake!!! Waited for so long… I have so many fond memories of the original game, l am looking forward to play with my favorite game characters once more!!!
I’m most excited for World of Warcraft Classic by Blizzard. I played the game so much when I was younger, it’ll be great to relive some great moments with my friends. Getting that PC prizepack would be fantastic as I plan on building a new computer this summer and need new peripherals as well.
On the console side, I’m super excited for Link’s Awakening for Nintendo Switch. I have this game for GameBoy Color and beat it many times and it’s one of my favorite Zelda games – I’m looking forward to my next replay being with better graphics! I still remember my friend nerd raging when he couldn’t beat the third boss who would taunt you and keep saying “nyah nyah”
I am most excited for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. I’ve been a fan of the franchise since the GameCube launch of the game. I’m disappointed it has been delayed again, but I suppose perfection takes time.
I’m totally excited about Elden Ring. The collaboration of George R R Martin with Miyazaki for the story is going to be insanely well written. Plus, From software will be making this game with what they do best, the souls like combat system! Anyhow, great bundles you have, it’s a nice contest.
The Cyberpunk 2077 showcase during the Microsoft presentation was an E3 2019 highlight for sure. CD Projekt Red has made great games with interesting stories, compelling characters, solid visuals and actually worth while DLC. All of this has me looking forward to spending at least 80 hours in the most Blade Runnery looking world since… well Blade Runner. The surprise inclusion of a Keanu Reeves voiced and likeness in this game is just an added layer of awesome to a already stacked pile.
I am really looking forward to the Cyberpunk 2077 game on xbox one. It was announced by cd project red and showcased during the xbox e3 conference. It is set to release in April 2020. This announcement is so important to me because, I loved the previous games released by this developer and I think it will be one one the best rpg of all time. It’s also featuring Keanu Reaves as part of the game which makes it even more awesome. Can’t wait to play this game!
Hands down it’s the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for myself. If it’s anything like the BOTW, I’ll be spending countless hours exploring again!!!
I’m excited for Pokemon Sword and Shield made by GameFreak and published by Nintendo. I have played Pokemon since I was a kid and I look forward to seeing what new ideas GameFreak has in store for the franchise.

I was more than heartbroken when Spider-Man the game was exclusive to the PS4 as I play on Xbox One. So when Crystal Dynamics announced the new Avengers game, I was all smiles. I’ve been a huge MCU fan since the first Iron Man. Watching each movie numerous times, buying them on BluRay, buying shirts and comics… I will DEFINITELY be checking out the Avengers game when it’s released. Whatever It Takes.
After the Nintendo Direct teased a Breath of the Wild sequel that game shot up past Link’s Awakening, Mario Maker 2, Luigi’s Mansion, Animal Crossing New Horizons, and Pokémon Sword/Shield as my most hyped for game!! Up till that last moment tho I don’t know how I would have picked from all those amazing titles!
I can’t wait for Avenger’s: A-Day from Square Enix that will be released in May 2020. One of the thing I am thrilled about is it’s coop campaign as cross-platform possibility are coming to the market. This might allow me and my friends to get together and have a blast. This game will also have a long lifespan as the developers will be adding freely new adventures and characters.
I am very much looking forward to the new Marvel’s Avengers game that was announced by Square Enix. I played Marvel Ultimate Alliance when I was a kid over and over again (occassionally still do today as well) so I’m hoping this will be similar or give me that nostalgic feeling I had back then!
The story does seem to be unique as well with some similarities to the recent marvel movies in terms of a “huge loss” and correcting/moving on past that loss in the future.
I can’t wait to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint by Ubisoft! I was obsessed with Wildlands and this sequel looks even better! Also excited for Jedi Fallen Order by EA. I’m a huge Star Wars fan and this game looks awesome.
Deathloop has me the most intrigued by far, and Arkane Studios has made some of my favourite games in the past. The concept seems so unique and has lots of potential, and I’m confident that Arkane can make the gameplay into something special.
Final fantasy 7 Remake shown off by square Enix is top of my list. The series is special to me. In addition to being the first game I had on PlayStation, I watched Advent Children on my first date with my wife almost 10 years ago. We danced to Aeriths theme at our wedding. I am looking forward to reliving the game while sharing it with her for the first time all while getting to experience this new version for the first time myself.
I’m always excited about Nintendo’s announcements. This year my top would have to be Animal Crossing. Ive always loved this franchise. I’m happy its coming back to the console. Yes, it was only small peak but it has me hooked. Amazing we can decorate the whole town now and show it off. I can’t wait till next year!
The game announcement that has me the most excited is Animal Crossing New Horizons from Nintendo. I am super excited because it is a game me and my family all play, and we have always wanted to play together, which is the whole reason for getting a Switch, but yeah finally in this game we can play local multiplayer and enjoy our favourite series together as a family. Which makes it like a gazillion times better and more important for me.
Really excited for Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt Red. This was the only game capable of exceeding my anticipation for The Last of Us 2. I’ve been hoping for some sort of video game adaptation of R. Talsorian Games Cyberpunk 2020 universe since the 1990s.
I am looking forward to the new Star Wars game for ps4… it looks really exciting and can’t wait to cop it!!!!

The sequel to Breath of the Wild by Nintendo is pretty hype! I really Breath of the Wild and I can’t wait to see what they do differently! Also pretty stoked to see what Doug Bowser decides to do as president of Nintendo! Anyway, time to wait another seven years for that sequel!

there was so much game that i was excited about , but FF7 Remake was the one that kept my attention once a final fantasy Fan , Always a final Fantasy Fan.
I am very excited for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake from Square Enix. As well as the announcement of the Final Fantasy Remastered. I’ve been a Final Fantasy fan and will always be one. For me, Final Fantasy series has been one of the best video games there is. And I really like most of Square Enix games.
I am looking forward to the nintendo switch games like Mario odessey and mario party but most importantly, i love all the zelda games I recently got into ps4 games and my boyfriend is encouraging final fantasy series. Havent played Spiderman yet but it looks like fun
Looking forward to Pokemon Sword and Shield from Nintendo. I don’t have very many games on the Nintendo Switch and I love Pokemon, so I’m really looking forward to it.
I love a lot of differents games in each differents consoles whatever it was the nintendo switch with some of my favorites characters of the insane style of RPG that define our mind with the concept of differents stories. But my favorites announcement gaming so far was Watch Dogs: Legion from Ubisoft because I was not expecting the gameplay to have a big difference with the latest new version this game’s system with the recrutement with a lot of strategies to play the game and the style of story to create base of the characters itself and I believe so far every series of Watch Dogs was in the PS4 and I cannot wait to see which date I will be able to buy this and come up with some crazy strategies of infiltration with tons of gadgets.
Square Enix really stepped up this year for me at E3. With release dates for both Avengers and Final Fantasy 7 Remake! I have been waiting so long for these games and am excited to see them release more information
Cyberpunk 2077 also blew me away. I mean come on, Keanu Reeves. That’s an automatic win. The game looked great long before him being revealed in it and now it’s even better.
Hope I can win a PS4 pro as I have to rely on playing at friends these days. But anything would be a great win. Glad I saw this contest. It’s gonna make somebody’s day extremely happy when they win! Would love to see more events like this.
I am really looking forward to the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game for my PS4. It was announced by Electronic Arts at E3 2018 and is set to be released November 15th, 2019. This announcement is so important to me because, being a die hard Star Wars fan, and seeing how Battlefront 2 was such a let down, I am so thrilled and pumped for this one personally!
The release of Call of Duty Modern Warfare by Activision/infinity ward on the Xbox One has me the most excited because it takes me back to the 1st Modern Warfare launch in 2007 and spending hour playing multiplayer everyday after school. This brings back so many memories and I hope this lives up to its predecessor. Can’t wait for this release.
Nintendo’s gaming announcement regarding the Animal Crossing: New Horizons (March 2020 release date) and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild leaves me the most excited in 2019! I’m in love with the game concepts, music, new features, and improved graphics for both games. The trailers and teasers have made my day, if not month amazing. I’m excited for a lot that has been announced like Project Scarlet and Watch Dogs Legion. I could go on but i’m most excited for Call of Duty Modern Warfare and Cyberpunk 2077. Haven’t seen much about the new COD but listen to the panels it sounds like we are in for a very good year. With Infinity Word at it again we should have a good game. Cyberpunk from CD Projekt Red, just sounds and looks amazing, graphics look crazy and Keanu Reeves is in it like WHAT.
SQUARE ENIX FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE RELEASE DATE. Five years since its original tease, and I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Tifa reveal. Combat mechanics shown. What more to be said. It being released on my friend’s birthday (Mar.3) makes it extra special.
I’m stoked for borderlands 3 from gearbox, I’ve been a fan since the first game, once borderlands 2 came out me and my friends played the heck out of it. Classic gamer memories for sure. Cyber punk 2077 looks out of this world. I’m a little disappointed no Sony this year but it’s been a great E3 so far.
Nintendo announcing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel has me most excited for in 2019. Breath of the Wild was such a great game, it was the reason I bought a Nintendo Switch. I’m excited to see where Nintendo takes it from here.
I’m most excited about the new Avengers game from Square Enix. As a Marvel fan, having the chance to play as the different heroes on the Avengers team (minus Hawkeye I guess…) is going to be an amazing experience. From the looks of the trailer it’s going to be a fun game. Can’t wait for May 15 2020!

Looking forward to the Breath of the Wild Sequel from Nintendo. I think we all wanted it but did any of us see it coming? It looks so weird and dark and such a cool contrast to how scenic and peaceful breath of the wild was. Think it really has the potential to be the most interesting Legend of Zelda game ever.

I’m most excited for the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild announced by Nintendo during the E3 Nintendo Direct. I’ve played most of the Legend of Zelda games with my brother, and I really enjoy the gameplay, puzzles, lore, nostalgia, and the sense of adventure while embarking on each new quest.

Link’s Awakening & The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild Sequel announced by Nintendo. Breath of the Wild had such a fun overworld and the exploration was amazing. I played the tutorial area for 2 hours before I moved on. Being able to just grab my switch and laydown for a couple hours to just roam around was amazing. The Legend of Zelda series is one of my favourite game series and I am so excited for the sequel. As well as the remake of Link’s Awakening!
