Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I’m usually an XBOX fanboy, which is why I am so excited for Halo: Infinite with 343 Productions, but man does Last Of Us II on PS4 from Naughty Dog+Sony look sooo goooood! Might be the best story every in a video game!

death stranding on ps4 pro, because Kojima is genius!
I’m always excited for new sports games like NBA 2k20 or NHL20, but wow does Death Stranding from Kojima Productions looks incredible! All the mystery behind it, the bizarre yet fascinating videos and trailers that have been released. I still have no idea what the game is about but I definitely wan to experience it!
Square Enix recently announced the launch of Final Fantasy and I am excited for it as it is VII Remake. However, releasing in 2020.
This is my all time favourite game and it is going to be amazing to play the redefined version.

I’m most excited for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, the remake from Nintendo announced for this Fall by Nintendo. We should get dates and see more information and details at E3, but I’m excited mostly because this is one of the few Zelda games I’ve never played before. I never had a gameboy when I was younger. Now I get to try it for the first time in beautifully redone graphics on the Nintendo Switch.
The game that has me the most excited is Cyber Punk 2077 by CD Projekt Red, who made the Witcher. The game looks like it will revolutionize single player campaigns. Doesn’t matter if it’s on a console I don’t have, I’ll get it, haha. Hopefully we will get some more information on it. Also hopefully we’ll get some news on the Marvel Avengers game, after playing Spider Man PS4, I cant wait!

For sure it has to be ubisofts “Tom Clancys ghost recon breakpoint”, I’ve been a massive fan of the ghost recon series and was Hoping for a new one this year. I have always been a fan of tactical / realistic type of shooters, so the ghost recon series is right up my Alley! Can’t wait to see more footage of the gameplay at E3!
I am most excited to hear about Gear if War 5. This game series has been a big part in my gaming life and where the first games I played in the 360. I have waited so long for this and I can’t wait to play it!
Probably looking most forward to Star Wars Jedi Fallen order by Respawn Entertainment and Publised by EA. Looking forward to this one becuause its been far too long since we’ve had a good single player story driven Star Wars game.
I would love hear any news involving the release of the PS5 by Sony. Other than that, some awesome news on the release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance for Nintendo Switch, or Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order by Respawn and EA Games.
I will love to play Wolfenstein:Youngblood by Machine Games and Arkane Studio and published by Bethesda Softworks for Nintendo Switch. I have been playing these games since the original Wolfenstein. My boys are addicted to the newer games.
I’m excited for the last of us 2! Although not exactly sure on the date of release yet it will be worth the wait!
Death Stranding, I’ve been waiting for it for years and Kojima’s games have gotten me through a lot. Sony has been hitting it out of the park with exclusives lately, especially Sekiro.
Death Stranding, since Kojima is a master at unique and genre-breaking video games as well as mind-bending story. Its so great that Sony Interactive Entertainment partnered with Kojima productions to make this possible. I’m really excited to explore his story and the themes they represent of bridging the world back together, themes that are especially relevant these days. Sony and Kojima are the GOATS to make this happen and I’m excited to play it on November 8th this year!
There are so many announcements that I’m excited/hoping for but if I had to choose one it would be Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake! This was a huge game during my childhood and it also helped me kill time back in 2013 when I had a brain tumour removed. Really hoping for more actual release dates this year too!
I am hoping to hear about new updates or a refresh for the Nintendo Switch console.

I’m most excited for more information on Animal Crossing Switch from Nintendo. This series has always been important to me as it got me through a lot of tough times and depressive episodes in my teenage years with it’s whimsical and relaxing nature and style of play.
I’m excited for the release of The Last Of Us 2 made by Naughty Dog. I’ve been playing waiting for this game for years!
I’m very excited for the Infinity Ward booth, the new Modern Warfare game looks incredible from what we’ve seen so far! I have so many fond memories of my dad sharing his PS3 and the original modern warfare game with me, it is what got me into gaming and I’m hoping Activision and Infinity Ward are able to recapture that feeling!
Im super excited for the Last of Us 2. its been so long in the making and the hype is incredible. Naughty dog is doing it write and i cant even explain the feelings i have for the last of us. the first game was so good and i can assume the second will be amazing.

The most exciting gaming announcement this year has to be the Sony PlayStation 5. The demo easily blew the PS4 Pro away! This is important to me because there seems to have been no significant advances in gaming technology, and manufacturers are just recycling all games as “remastered” or “reloaded” editions. I’m happy to see that Sony has something awesome coming up.
My pick would have to be Luigi’s Mansion 3 from Nintendo! A lot of love is given to the shorter, chubbier, red colored brother of the beloved Nintendo franchise, but the Luigi’s Mansion games proved that Luigi always deserved his own full fledged title!
In my opinion, Luigi’s Mansion is an excellent game and shows that Nintendo is a powerhouse when it comes to delivering new and fresh ideas. A new trailer for Luigi’s Mansion 3 showing off some gameplay has me very excited!!
I am most excited for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order by Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment. Who wouldn’t want to be able to use the powers of the force at will? I think this game may compete as a favourite with the older Knights of the Old Republic. Haven’t been this excited since! In my opinion, there honestly hasn’t been a good Star Wars game since.
All the tidbits that we’re hearing about the ps5 has me excited because with this generation, sony really had a ton of amazing exclusives. And for the next generation to be a much larger leap in power means more options for developers to enhance their vision for the games they make. Also the rumored upgraded nintendo switch sounds intriguing.

I have played Borderlands 3’s predecessor for many years, on numerous consoles for quite some time. I have purchased this game for myself, and my friends and vice versa for next gen consoles. This series of games has been something I can come back to time and time again, and still laugh and enjoy it. Borderlands 3 has lots to live up to, I am genuinely excited to experience a franchise like “I did for the first time”.
It would definitely have to be Death Stranding for PS4 from Kojima productions , every time we have a new release from the mind of Kojima it’s impossible not to be excited about it !

Smash Bros, Strikers, Double Dash, Windwaker, Nightfire, you name it; all pinnacle pieces from my childhood. When the Wii came out I was disappointed that it was not something building off of near perfection. After two different console releases from Nintendo were back to the same fun I used to have in junior high. The Nintendo switch is tapping into all the same areas that made the GameCube great. I would love to win the switch prize pack so I could reconnect with the old style of Nintendo in a modern way. Thanks!

the new Modern Warfare on Xbox One, looks like a wicked game and it’s what I grew up playing with friends when online gaming first became popular.
Sony announcing Crash team racing Nitro fueled REMAKE!!! A classic remake what’s not to like? All the epic maps, characters and lots of explosions, oh and bragging rights….rivalries never die.
I’m going to have to save the last of us 2! I have been waiting for that movie to come out for soo long now, ops I mean game lol. Only reason I ever bought a playstation was for the first last of us ;).
For me, I am kind of torn between two games: Marvel’s The Avengers (by Square Enix and co-developed by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal) and the MediEvil remake (by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by Other Ocean). The reason why these games in particular is because when I was a kid, I grew up with adventures games on PlayStation and Marvel comics like X-Men and Spider-Man. So to get games based on stuff I grew up with is exciting, making 2019 an interesting year for this generation of consoles. Although, if I had to choose, I would pick Marvel’s The Avengers, because it will be the first AAA Avengers game to be release and made by two great studios. After playing Marvel’s Spider-Man (by Sony Interactive Entertainment), my hype for Avengers is going through the roof right now.
I’m excited about Pokémon Sword and shield on the Nintendo switch because I love seeing original Pokémon come back and especially the reveal of new ones always have been a fan and this news was truly exciting to see.
I’m so excited about EA’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! Can’t wait to see what’s next for my favourite franchise. I would absolutely love to play it on my brand new PS4 once Best Buy gives it to me! 🙂
I am most excited for call of duty modern warfare on ps4 published by Activision and developed by infinity ward! Because its nostalgic and reminds me of my brother who lives overseas! And reminds me of my childhood!
Honestly either Retro’s Metroid Prime 4 or CD Project Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 has me the most excited this year even if we only get a vague launch window.
