Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Death Stranding on the PlayStation 4 would be my pick. The trailer for the game looks amazing and very unique storytelling. Excited!
I am most excited for the next Xbox console announcement from microsoft as I am eager to see what they can achieve in 2019 finally using the power of the cloud. As for games, I am most excited for the rumoured Destroy all Humans reboot from Nordic Games as it was my favourite series as a child. I spent countless hours with that series, and Would love to fly around in that UFO again!
Hyped for the new Luigi’s Mansion game, Luigi is the better brother lol. Just waiting on Nintendo to give out the release details!
I’m really excited to get my hands on Super Mario maker for the switch. Now a days it’s really hard for me to put time into a game because I usually just get bored of them in a few hours but I have a feeling that maker 2 will bring me back to the good times:)
Personally, I look forward to the announcement of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. An actual good RPG-style Star Wars game hasn’t been made since KOTOR, therefore I can see how the hype over this new item is justified. Even though EA hasn’t had the best track record recently, there is still reason to believe that this one might the Star Wars experience the fans deserve.
On another note, Animal Crossing for the Switch also serves as breath of fresh air for fans, such as myself, who have been waiting for an Animal Crossing instalment on Nintendo’s newest platform. The mere choice between handheld portability and docked will give the Animal Crossing formula a new, refreshing twist.
I am most excited for the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare game that was recently announced by Infinity Ward and Activision. I love the fast paced gameplay call of duty offers and when the game releases Oct. 25, I will be sure to pick it up and grind away. This game is important to me because I have played all call of duty’s from modern warfare 2 to black ops 4 and have loved every single game the company brings forward. Can’t wait, so excited
I’m most excited about the new From Software RPG game, with creative help from George R.R. Martin. From Software has some of the best game mechanics and I think taking on the Norse mythology genre will be hugely successful.
I am excited , because NBA2K20 will feature The Toronto Raptors.

What I’m most looking forward to is The Last Of Us 2!! Made by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment! The first game changed the way I saw gaming and it was incredible! I love the cinematic cutscenes and how story driven this game is! I’m invested and I can’t wait to continue the journey! I can’t wait to put myself back into the apocalyptic world and see how the clickers have mutated and see how far gone some of the survivors have become and what relationships have been made
Super pumped for Death Stranding on the PlayStation 4. Been waiting for more Hideo Kojima games since Metal Gear Solid 5! The trailers look absolutely amazing and can’t wait to be immersed in the gameplay!
I’m excited for Square Enix’s presentation. Really hoping they’ll have something about Kingdom Hearts 3’s ReMIND DLC for the ps4.
I’m so excited about Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order! Can’t wait to see what’s next for my favourite franchise.
I’m most excited to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Projekt. Although I’ll play on PC or PS4 (PS5?), I’m setting my calendar for the XBox panel to see more of this game revealed. For me, it signifies a return to narrative storytelling and true Roleplaying Game mechanics (which I grew up with) in this contemporary era of online-multiplayer, persistent grinding which has replaced actual progress, and games that focus on entertaining the lowest common denominator of fans rather than providing a truly rich and rewarding gaming experience. I am looking forward to the time I will spend exploring this world, and to use the inevitable piece of narrative genius as a jumping off point to teach storytelling in high school English classes.
I can’t wait to check out Doom Eternal. I am pretty thrilled with most things coming from Bethesda Studios and Doom seems like a franchise that has universe-wide possibilities for good stories.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare by Activision/Infinity Ward. I’ve always been a huge fan of the COD series, and I’m ready to put tons of hours into it once it releases.
I am most excited for Xbox to reveal more about Ori an the Will of the Wisps, including a release date. I am excited for this because I love story driven games and Ori is a beautiful game to look at while going through the amazing story. I cant wait for all of the announcements from Xbox, Nintendo, EA, etc. But Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the one I am most excited for as of right now.
Borderlands 3 because I love the other ones in the series.
I’m excited to see what Microsoft has planned for next gen. Let’s see how they set the bar moving into the next cycle.
I’m excited to hear about anything new coming from CD PROJEKT RED. Whether it’s witcher related or maybe another trailer for Cyberpunk 2077 with a possible release date..? I’m not holding my breath on that.
There are quite a few things that have gotten me very excited such as the upcoming Switch games like Fire Emblem and Pokémon Sword/Shield! But Sony’s PS5 console reveal in 2019 takes the cake and I cannot wait till a release date is confirmed! This is major news for me because due to budgeting reasons, I had to hold back from acquiring a PS4 when choosing between a PS4 or Switch. But given that the PS5 will not be releasing till a few years time, I have a goal to save towards and be able to obtain the newest PlayStation console which is rumored to have backwards compatibility! That’s like killing two birds with one stone! 🙂
The last of us 2 is the most exciting announcement of E3 this year. Naughty dog is the best games developer out there! Can’t wait for that amazing PS4 exclusive!

I am excited for CoD modern warfare 2 remastered from Activision because it has been my favorite game of all time since I spent my whole teenage years playing that game with my friends. After school we would all meet up online and play for hours so it would bring back some good old memories :).

I’m looking forward to any announcement regaurding The Last of Us 2 by Naughty Dog for PlayStation. The first game blew me away with it’s graphics, gameplay, and story telling. It was truely a masterpiece when it was released and Naughty Dog has continued to improve on all of its mechanics with the releases of its Uncharted games. Keep it up Naughty Dog! And please keep the Uncharted franchise alive!

I’m super excited about COD:MODERN WARFARE by Activision moreover it’s running on a new engine also google launching its own gaming console or platform as it’s not a console technically aslo waiting for GTA6 by Rockstar games
The 2019 game I’m excited for the new Animal Crossing game for Nintendo Switch. When Nintendo announced it earlier this year I was really happy to see it come back after such a long time being away from home consoles. I’ve had a lot of fond memories playing the previous Animal Crossing games when I was younger and the series is something I really cherish. I;m looking forward to what Nintendo has to show at E3 this year.
