Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. I am very excited to see what Sony brings out for the playstation 5, I’ve always been a playstation gamer and Its great to see what the next generation of consoles are going to look like and the features it will have. Next I have to hope for a Bioware dragon age trailer or maybe even a new mass effect teaser, to me mass effect is the best RPG I’ve ever play alongside dragon age and the Witcher, I am very interested to see what they will do too!

I’m so excited to see final fantasy 7 remake by square enix for ps4. I’ve played every single final fantasy and I’m a huge fan. Easily can say ff7 series was the most fun and had the best story, with ff7, crisis core, advent children, and now ff7 remake it will definitely bring back great childhood memories
I am really looking forward to ffvii remake. I cannot imagine how this classic rpg game would became in the remake. I loved the materia system for magic and special ability. I hope to hear more on if there will more new materia that might be added in the remake or new secret boss which the original ffvii didn’t have
I’m really excited about the Final Fantasy 7 remake from Square Enid because when I was kid I was so excited about his game, worked the whole summer to be able to buy a Voodoo vidéo card to play it.
Am looking forward to Final Fantasy VII more than anything else, I mean that game for me is a legend among rpgs. It was announced by Square Enix for the PS4 and even though I don’t own a PS4, since I have to take a 30 minute bus ride to my brother’s house just to play his, this would be the perfect time to get one hopefully. A lot of people might not believe this but honestly, Final Fantasy VII helped me to read since I hated it reading on a whole but this game had me going through every line in the game to get through it so it’s more than just about playing a game for me. This game is the catalyst for my love towards every single Final Fantasy to date and others like it, thinking about it makes me happy as he’ll. Can’t wait for it to be released. Most looking forward to Borderlands 3 by Gearbox studios! This game is important to me because it was the first co-op game my cousin and I played and beat together. It was during a rough time in both our lives and it was my first time seeing the powerful impact video games could have.
I just did a school presentation on Super Mario odyssey where I talked about how the different moods in each area of the game co ready from one another. I love Mario games and I’ve heard Odyssey is really good. Too bad I never had enough money saved up to buy my own Nintendo switch
Animal Crossing for the Nintendo Switch, announced by Nintendo itself, i’ve always had a soft spot for the series ever since City Folk, and having it on the Switch so I can get it on both a tv and portable sounds great
Pokémon sword and shield (Game) by Nintendo is something I’m ultra excited for! I’ve played the Pokémon games since they were on the first hand held gameboy and worked my way up. I can’t wait to see what the new region brings us in the near future ❤️
I’m most excited for some more news on the final fantasy 7 remake for PS4/PS5(video game) by Square Enix! I’ve loved the original since I first played it 1999 when I was 7 and when they released the graphics demo for the ps3 I was more than excited and even more excited than that when they actually announced that they were finally going to remake it. This is a game myself and millions of other people have wanted for a very long time, and the fact the gameplay is gonna be a lot like final fantasy 15 just makes it that much more exciting! I really can’t wait for this game to come out!! I hope I win this game when it comes out, or atleast a bunch of merchandise haha

I really want a switch not only am i excited and Pokémon sword. I also would like to give this switch to my younger brother because he’s 12 and all he has is an iPad and I want him to have a switch for a true gaming experience. I’m super excited for the release of Borderlands 3 this fall. I’ve played all the other games with my friends countless times and can’t wait to get back into it.

I am excited for it due to I am a large Star Wars fan but also it marks a turning point for EA to focus on a single player game.
If this single player experience can live up to the hype, then maybe it can change EA’s business practice of treating all their games as a SaaS to some games will have more memorable single player experience.
I’m really excited to learn more about Animal Crossing for Switch. Animal Crossing is one of the only series that my wife plays and I’ve loved it since Gamecube. It’s one that my kids can enjoy too, which is great.
I’m also looking forward to news about Pokémon Sword and Shield. I’m a big Pokémon fan and I’m playing through Detective Pikachu right now (I wanted to watch the movie before starting the game).
Nintendo often have some pretty nice surprises at E3 too so I’m really looking forward to everything that they’re going to show.
I am anticipating Gears 5. The character development is the best of any straight third person shooter outside the RPG genre.

I’ve been playing Pokemon on and off since G1 on my Gameboy Color. I recently started playing Let’s Go Eevee and it has reinvigorated my enthusiasm for the franchise. Can’t wait for the new games!
I’m most looking forward to this E3 in the game Cyberpunk 2077, from CD Projekt. The game looks so ahead of anything else out there currently. Hoping it stays on track and releases sometime in 2020.

I’ve been really excited for Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, I’ve been a backer to the kickstarter since it was announced and I’m very happy to know it’s coming out finally, and sooner than expected! I love the Castlevania series, and the games by Igarashi while he worked at Konami were my favourites. I’ve beaten most of the Metroidvania style games so I am more than excited to get my hands on his project, which is a spiritual successor and can’t wait to sink my teeth into the game on Switch or PC.

I’m actually excited with the new Oculus Rift S and Quest VR products. I honestly feel they are the next evolution in gaming, there are great VR titles coming out in 2019. The level of fun and immersion that VR brings is astounding and it’s really hard to go back to gaming on a monitor.
I’m excited for the PlayStation 5!! That system looks so beautiful and the way Sony dropped the announcement was just unnecessarily to hard. I’m not even team PlayStation but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn. This announcement isn’t just important to me, but important to the future of gaming.

The game I am really excited for is animal crossing, because I have being playing these games since the first one came out.

Nintendo’s remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has me more excited than a kid at Christmas. The first console I played growing up was my Dad’s brick Game Boy, and the first video game I ever played was Link’s Awakening, in 4 shades of green… I’ve revisited Link’s Awakening DX on my GBA SP recently since I couldn’t wait once I heard the news a remake for switch was on the way. I’m hoping we get some more footage (or a surprise release?) at E3 this year!

It’s got to be Halo Infinite announced by Microsoft. Not only is it a Halo game, but it seems to be fresh look since they did not name it Halo 6 and the game is running on a new Slipspace engine which will most likely be apart of their next gen console (also maybe announced at E3). Halo is Microsofts flagship franchise and this game they know it has to be amazing in order to keep up with Playstation exclusives (like God of War, Spiderman, The Last of Us). Halo has been apart of my life and so many others for many years, the music is iconic, multiplayer was revolutionary, and Master Chief is a role model.
I’m super excited to learn about “Animal Crossing” because I’ve been playing this series since the first one was released. Looking forward to it!
Has to be the expansions for 2K’s Civilization 6 on Switch! In February, Aspyr announced that they are indeed porting both Gathering Storm plus Rise and Fall; seriously, what could fuel the addiction more than being able to easily jump in and out for that “one more turn”. Oh, and of course being able to play as Canada in a game is beyond words. Thank You!!!

I am the most excited for animal crossing switch!! I have been a huge fan of the series and have enjoyed playing every version that has been released. My sister and I always used to enjoy sending each other letters and gifts through the game. I remember one time I bought her a dress from graciegrace because she had just started and didn’t have enough bells to buy it. 🙂
