Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Next gen Microsoft Xbox hype! Super pumped to get a new one. My current Xbox is starting to later classic. I remember rigging up my original Xbox to some shady set up to my computer so I could play on lan. It was sick. I still login from time to time to hear the double kill voice. However anything Nintendo switch is ultra hella. Really excited to see their new line up. Zelda was literally the best game of all time. Also, one time I saw a guys name on NHL 17 and he made his name “PRESS A”. That mode had to have 12 people press A during stopped time. Hilarious and genious. Just thought I’d share that for fun.
I’m most looking forward to Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare (which is one of the greatest war games I’ve ever played IMHO) which is done by Activision. It’s one of those few games in your gaming lifetime where the announcement trailer gives you shivers in excitement. I can’t wait for this to come out! I’ll hopefully be playing this on a PS4 Pro as all my friends play PlayStation!

Most excited to see more on Borderlands 3 from Gearbox/ Activision, one of my favorite series and can’t wait to dig into the new abilities and grind for the crazy new weapons and everything else it offers!
I am most looking forward to any updates to the Nintendo Switch and it’s announcement on a new Pokémon game. My nephew is currently 5 years old and in love with Pokémon, from cards to games to shows to toys. You name! He loves it! As I’m sure most people have said I am most looking forward to Animal Crossing on the switch! I loved the gamecube game, and I am looking forward to sharing Isabelle and the rest of the gang with my nieces and nephews. Been looking forward to this game since the trailer, and can’t wait to play!

Im excited for 343 Industries to show off Halo Infinite at E3 this year. Last years teaser has got me so excited, cant wait to see what they have planned this year. Fell in love with Halo many years ago, I think this one will be the definitive Halo game

I am looking forward to a new animal crossing game from Nintendo on the Switch because it is one of my favourite video game series. It has been years since Animal Crossing New Leaf was released and I’m excited for another game which plays like the originals not the like the Happy Home game.
I am very excited about the announcement of further Halo: Infinite news from 343 studios for the Microsoft Xbox next-gen console! I have been a Megafan and avid player of the Halo franchise from Halo: Combat Evolved to Halo 5: Guardians. I find the evolution of Halo story and multiplayer to be always refreshing. I can’t wait to see where the story goes and how more fun the next one will be.
I’m super excited for the new COD modern warfare because it’s a revamped version of the classic with a new engine with better graphics and also because price is brought back into the games.
Ever since Call Of Duty : Modern Warfare (Literally one of the greatest war games ever IMHO) was announced by Activision, I was stoked! It’s one of those few times in your gaming life where a game announcement actually gives you shivers with the announcement trailer. PlayStation is where it’s at for me, given all my friends on it. I can’t bloody wait!
Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is what excites the inner child in me. I’ve been playing The Division up until now and the ads of the second one is so good that I want to get one. I sold all other games except The Division because I still play it now and I never get bored. Ubisoft is a great game developer. I like most games under their name.
I can’t wait for COD: Modern Warfare -revealed by Activision/Infinity Wars. It’s going to be even better on the new system and I can’t wait for the new things they bring to this classic game!!

I’m really excited to play the remastered Modern Warfare with my friends, which was teased by Infinity Ward/Activision. This game made a lot of good memories for my friends & I back in the day and it’ll be nostalgic playing with everyone again!
I’m most excited to see more game play of the newly announced Pokemon Sword and Shield games for the Nintendo Switch console from the makers of Game Freak, as I have been following the series since the beginning and really enjoyed playing the original Pokemon games on the Game boy Color such as Pokemon Red and Blue. Also really excited to see if they announce a next-gen Nintendo Switch!
I would have to say I’m most excited for the new COD: Modern warfare by Activision. Seeing them go back to their roots brings me joy as I have not been to keen on the newer titles they have put out. The new engine they’re using brings me excitement.
Can’t wait to see what the game brings out.
The gaming announcement that has me most excited in 2019 is the PS5, announced (essentially) by Sony. It’s important because I am still using a PS3 and it’s hard to believe the technological jump that has taken place since the PS3’s release. 8K and SSDs with short load times sound great. Looking forward to learning about what other features it will have to improve the gaming experience. Thanks for reading.

The Master Chief Collection coming to PC is definitely the most exciting announcement for me this year! I loved playing all the Halo games on on Xbox and Xbox 360 growing up so I’m really looking forward to reliving some of that nostalgia! Microsoft definitely knocked it out of the park with that one!!
I haven’t gamed in few years and I want to go back in with something lighter. The New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (Switch) is perfect for me from Nintendo. Light and fun gaming.
I am super excited for the Marvel’s Avengers game by Square Enix. It was rumoured/discussed a while ago and now they officially announced not too long ago that there will be details at E3. The game is not dead! I am hoping it comes out on PS4 with amazing graphics in 4K and I trust that Crystal Dymanics, who have made excellent Tomb Raider game, will take the Avengers and make them look good, fun to play and continue to excitement that the movies have been giving us. Look forward to the presentation and the game itself.
Once Activision announced that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was coming to e3, I was ecstatic. The days on pc where players would quick scope each other with an intervention or cross map throwing knives was fun. I’m excited to see my boy price again in the storyline as well.
I’m super excited about Animal Crossing Switch, announced by Nintendo (or Tom Nook, I should say) during a Direct last year, and slated for a release in 2019. I’m a pretty new AC fan, with New Leaf being the first game I played from the series, and I was blown away by how much I enjoyed it. With 3 spinoffs having released after it, I can’t wait to get my hands on a new full fledged AC experience.

I am excited to see the gameplay reveal of the Animal Crossing game for the Nintendo Switch this year at E3 2019! I have been a major fan of the Animal Crossing series for many years. As a gamer, Nintendo has played a big part in my life. Nintendo’s influence is reflected in my everyday gaming and stretches as far as my personal relationships with my friends and family. Sharing experiences in gaming with my loved ones is something I truly value about being a gamer. And, to quote my girlfriend of five years, who isn’t a gamer, “I can’t wait for Animal Crossing! I’ll buy that game in a heartbeat!” – I can’t wait to share this new experience with her! Thank you Nintendo for many future memories to look forward to. I am most excited for Nintendo to announce new switch games. I’m hyped for the new animal crossing, and look forward to hearing about the new Pokémon games. I also hope they announce plans for a new (gen 2) Switch!

The Last of Us 2 by Naughty Dog on PS4
I remember playing The Last of Us on PS3 back when it first came out and it blew my mind. Was it possible for video games to be this good? I couldn’t believe it. The Last of Us wasn’t just a video game, it was a full on playable movie the likes of which have not been seen since!

I’m excited for the recent BioWare announcement that some classics will be hitting the PS4 by the end of the year with some 2019 upgrades. Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate II, Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment, and Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition. Love the classics
My son is most looking forward to the release of Legend of Zelda Links awakening remake coming out sometime this year! I know it will be the first item on his Christmas list as he is a huge Zelda fan.
