Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. I am so excited for the Final Fantasy 7 re release. The first one way back in the day was a huge step and growing up with all the F F. Series it’s amazing that I can pass on a game to my two amazing kids. Square soft and PlayStation have been hitting home runs worth re releases and this one is the best one yet. It’s nice to share my favortie F F game with my kids and it’s great that we can play as a family and not worry about a weak story line or graphics for the epic game.
Sony’s Death Stranding Announcement had me most Excited. This game will be something truly original!
I am very excited for Next Gen XBOX – Mircosoft has been gearing up by purchasing various studios and I believe they are positioned for a strong first-party as well as Streaming presence.
Also excited to see if Bethesda will present any information at E3 about Starfield or Elder Scrolls 6… can’t wait!
Finally, the Avengers game from Square Enix is taking over the previous Sony Timeslot, so I have big expectations that this will be a blockbuster game for 2020!
I’m excited for the Smash Bros Game on the switch mentioned by Nintendo. Why Smash? Well, it’s Smash!
I’m probably more interested in “Death Stranding” its a hideo Kojima game. it looks like a solid story with a layered experience for players to test their abilities to solve super natural problems along with environmental hazards. It’s published by son interactive along with kojima productions, only available on ps4 so as an xbox user you would miss out. Playing a kojima game is always a great experience though. Theres a rich “symbolism and deeper meaning”. The FF7 remake but it’s a beloved series. Arguably my favorite game of all time.
I am most excited about Nintendo’s announcement of new Pokemon games (Sword/Shield) for the Switch! I have wanted to play a traditional handheld Pokemon game on the TV for a long time, so I really hope they do it justice and keep all of the best features from the handheld games!
I am extremely excited to learn about the new Xbox console. To see the new game announcements and what new potential BR could be coming or could they be expanding with blackout.
Death Stranding! Kojima Productions, I need more information about it and I have been waiting for that game for like 2 years now. They keep delaying it.
I am counting the days until Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled comes out on June 21st. Activision is releasing it for the PS4 and XBox One, and eventually for the Switch. When I went to college, my friends and I used to have weekend tournaments playing the original one. I can’t wait to have tournaments with the same friends I played with back then. My weekends are spoken for this summer!! Lol!! Yay!!
Nintendo’s Pokemon sword and shield, my kid and I have been waiting for this. We’ve been playing and collecting Pokémon since he was born. The new marvel game is also on that list
I am definitely most excited about borderlands 3 from gearbox. Borderlands 2 was amazing and from what we have seen of borderlands 3 it looks like it is going to be even better
I am mostly excited for the next hero in overwatch by blizzard. I can’t wait to see what they came up with and how it helps evolve the meta. Oh there’s also potential announcements for new events. New pve events or game modes will bring new life to the game!
I’m excited to hear news from Nintendo about a new Animal Crossing and/or Rune Factory game. It’s been a long time since we had a new entry in either series.
More info on the new Fire Emblem! I’ve loved the series since Awakening took it in its current direction.
I mostly anticipating the release expansion packs of Forza Motorsport / Forza Horizon or the next game in the Forza franchise by Microsoft Studios .
Looking forward for Halo Infinite, and Age of Empires. Both franchise’s I have grown up with and am excited for.
I am excited to see more about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for the Nintendo Switch. The original games bring back lots of great memories but I was devastated to hear that the new one is a Switch exclusive and I only have a PS4. I would love to have a switch to play this game as well as Zelda and Pokemon games.
Looking forward to Boarderlands 3 and Halo Infinity – both should be worth the wait…
The Last of Us 2! I’ve played through the first one at least 10 times, and can’t wait to see where the story goes next!

I’m excited to see more about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 for the Nintendo Switch. I was so excited to hear about but devastated that its a Switch exclusive right now. The originals bring back good memories but I’ve only ever had Playstation. The Switch looks fun but I can’t afford one and there’s so many games I would love to try on one like Zelda and Pokemon games.
I’m Really excited for the reveal of the upcoming Avengers game from Square Enix that was announced at the beginning of 2017! This announcement is important to me because as a Marvel fan, I’ve been looking for an immersive game from a reputable studio for a long time and hopes this new Avengers title will blow me away.

I’m looking forward to more announcements on Final Fantasy 7 Remake by Square Enix which was announced all the way back in 2015, This announcement is important to not only me but a whole generation that grew up with Cloud and crew in 1997 and important to a whole new generation who don’t even know about Final Fantasy 7 and this being their first experience with those characters and that story line. I hope that it absolutely blows mine and everyone’s expectations during the Square Enix Press Conference.

Sony has been tight lipped but has released some leaks around it’s new console, and many internet content providers and reviewers have chimed in. I’ve seen many reviews on the PS5, and that is the system I am most excited about. The particular item that I am anticipating most is the fact that it is 8K compatible… but I’m hoping that isn’t just for games… I’m hoping that the system is Blu-Ray compatible with full 4K HDR UltraHD movies, unlike the current PS4 and PS4Pro models. It would be nice for the kids to be able to enjoy their games (and occasionally myself as well), but also be me be able to enjoy my full movie collection without having to have a separate component just to play my better quality content. I’ve seen lots of hype surrounding the 8K and backwards compatibility, so I just hope that extends beyond game content.
Cant wait for the new borderlands one of my favorite series and last of us 2.
I am SOOOOOO looking forward to Obsidian Entertainment’s The Outer Worlds! Obsidian did a great job with Fallout: New Vegas combining that dreary post-apocalyptic world with a super fun RPG/FPS hybrid and marrying it to a great story like Fallout: New Vegas, so I’m super excited to see what they’ve come up with a sci-fi RPG/FPS hybrid like The Outer Worlds.
I am really excited about World of Warcraft Classic. Blizzard has finally listened, and is going to release a long anticipated remake of the original game that sparked my gaming passion. WOW Classic has me extremely excited as I wait to reconnect to the game that introduced me to the world of digital entertainment.
I am most excited for Super Mario Maker 2 coming out for the Nintendo Switch. I am going to create a channel around this game.

I was really stoked when I heard Super Smash Brothers came out for the Switch! I haven’t had the chance to play it because I don’t own a switch! This game brings back memories of my childhood when I would buy my brother to death for a chance to play it with him and my older cousins.
I love that Nintendo is re-releasing all the games we grew up playing. There’s some magical about playing the same game with your own kids… it’s like they get a glimpse of what our childhood was like.
Very excited about Fire Emblems 3 Kingdom
I’m excited for the suppose announcement of an upcoming release of my favorite game franchise Splinter Cell on either the Xbox One or PS4. Both consoles will be worth buying for that game especially if they also announce next generation hardware.
I’d have to say the game I can’t wait for the most is borderlands 3 by gearbox software. It is my all-time favorite game I have played the other borderlands games so many times I’ve lost count
I’m looking forward to all the exciting new games that Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo has to offer this year at E3. I’m most excited for “Death Stranding” on PS4, “Control” on Xbox One and “Pokémon Sword/Shield on Switch! I’m a huge gamer so I use all my game consoles regularly (including my N64 to this day!) but it would be awesome to own the Xbox One X!
Borderlands 3 is definitely the most exciting announcement! I played countless hours of the previous borderlands with my buddies on the Xbox 360 and can’t wait to try out the new game

I’m very excited about anything for the Nintendo switch. My 6 year old would love one for his birthday.
I am looking forward to the new Borderlands! I’ll probably be playing it on Xbox when it comes out. It’s a very nostalgic game for me that has brought a lot of uninterrupted entertainment and laughter! I haven’t enjoyed a game in a long time, and I’m hoping this lives up to the past games!
Announcement, teaser, rumour or somewhere in-between, just the possibility that Larian Studios is working on Baldur’s Gate 3 is spine tingling!
BG1 was my introduction to PC gaming as a teenager. It was a definitive transition for D&D into the digital space and essentially defined the RPG genre for a generation. Baldur’s Gate II: Shadow of Amn is still one of the most memorable games I have ever played. The storyline was so strong and gameplay was timeless. The characters are still relevant in gaming culture today. Who can forget the quotes of Minsc with his Miniture Giant Space Hampster” Boo.
I loved the work Larian Studios did with the Divinity Original Sin titles. If they can capture the story and characters of BG2 with updated play dynamics, thoughtful multiplayer and options for multiple systems, I’d only need to buy one game in the next two years. Primarily want this on PC but would love to introduce the little fella to this on Xbox! This is the only news I want out of E3!!!
I can’t wait for the new Ori and the Will of the Wisps game, the first game was so beautiful and the sound track was amazing
