Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. The gaming announcement that has me the most excited in 2019 is Pokemon Sword, announced by The Pokemon Company, for the Nintendo Switch. I’ve been playing the core Pokemon games since Pokemon Blue on the Game Boy Color and having a core Pokemon game come to a home console for the first time ever, is extremely exciting. Not only is Pokemon Sword introducing us to the 8th generation, with brand new Pokemon and places to explore, it’s also a historic leap to a more powerful home console. To a Pokemon fan, it doesn’t get more exciting than this.
I’m looking forward to an announcement by FromSoftware for Bloodborne 2! I can’t wait to play it on playstation with my friends. I absolutely love the style of the game! I’ve got my Hope’s for other games as well but this is top of the list!
I’m looking forward to Borderlands 3 by 2K Games for PS4 the most. I love first person shooters and comedy. I find Borderlands to be a good mix of both so I’m really looking forward to it.
I’m looking forward to seeing what Microsoft has been plotting since snatching up all those game studios last year! 14 exclusive titles is a good start!

The next Animal Crossing game for the Nintendo Switch has me the most excited for E3 2019. Ever since it was stated that Animal Crossing Switch would be reserved for the 2019 E3, I’ve been eagerly awaiting news. I still play Animal Crossing New Leaf from 2014, and while this game still holds up, it’s time to see what they can bring to Nintendo’s best console since the Gamecube!

I’m beyond excited for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. FF7 was the first video game I ever played, and it is still my favorite to this day. I bought a PS4 just for this game to come out!

Nintendo with their Legend of zelda: Link’s awakening! I’ve been so excited to see more since they announced it a while ago. It was one of my favourite games as a kid and I’m really hoping this gets newer generations to enjoy a game I loved so much when I was younger.
I’m looking forward to dying light 2 by techland. I was injured at work and was bed ridden for months the first dying light gave me and my friends countless hours of zombie fun.
I would love to hear more about Stadia, and also looking forward to hearing about Elder Scrolls 6 (hopefully)!
I’m excited for more news from Gearbox about Borderlands 3. My family all are big fans and we’ve spent countless hours playing the other ones on Xbox. I’d love to hear something about cross-platform co-op as I have a few friends who use other systems (PC and PS4) and it would be cool to all be able to play together.

I’m most looking forward to Last of Us 2 for the PS4. I’ve loved pretty much every game released by Naughty Dog, and I anticipate that will continue on. They create such a polished product that always excites.

I am almost 20 now, i still drive by that pink brick house with a white door and mini van parked in-front, we’d eat cookies and home made pizza, i still see his mom ride her 70’s sky blue bike around the main drag: little did she know, a friend and i would team up against her son on Super Smash Bros Melee on gamecube, he would often cry in-defeat. This individual was someone who didn’t go out as much and games were his life at the time: from this friendship, i realized how much of a gateway games of all sorts can be for anyone to take them away from a negative environment and not overthink about anything but changing the next battle strategy! My passions of video games grew from this point on.

Really excited to hear more about Cyberpunk 2077 made by CD Projekt. I loved playing all the way through The Witcher 3 and really enjoy open world city games so that combined with the RPG mechanics from The Witcher series will be awesome.
I am hyped to hear more about Microsoft’s upcoming console, plus their arsenal of new games. Destiny 3 (Bungie) should at least be revealed, since Bungie already has a teaser on their website about the “road ahead” and the info is supposed to start coming out around E3 according to that teaser. I had heard rumours of a new Mechassault title for XBL, which I would absolutely love to see, as it is the game that gave Microsoft its online started with XBL, and I met pretty much ALL my XBL friends via the first 2 renditions of that title. On a side-note for other mech-heads, there is also a rumour that MechWarrior 5 Mercs (Piranha) is going to be announced for console, specifically XBox. The PC version releases in September of this year, so if there is a console announcement, it will likely be for 2020+
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I’m excited for this game because I love Call of Duty games and they are my favourite. Just from the trailers it seems like it could be one the best ones yet.
Looking forward to possibly more Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC reveal! As well as anything Halo related!
I’m looking forward to the legend of Zelda which would be released on switch. I’m really excited for the presentation from Nintendo. I love it. Cannot wait too long.
Really looking forward to Dying Light 2 by Techland and their new partners Square Enix. My best friend and I had some of our best gaming moments online while playing the first one together. Can’t beat slicing up zombies with electric swords and driving over them with dunebuggies. Can’t wait to see what the new one brings!!!!

The announcement that has been an ongoing announcement from Square Enix that has me still excited is more info on Final Fantasy 7, more game play, and information is just going to get me more excited. Cant Wait! GET ON THE HYPE TRAIN!!! I have never needed a Playstation 4 (Im a pc gamer) but this is the moment that will make the decision for me! Final Fantasy 7 brings me back to the roots of why I love gaming, story, long gameplay, going to school looking forward to the end of the day just to grab the controller! Lets get that feeling back!
We should be getting that “triple a” Harry Potter game announced this year from Warner Bros. It hasn’t been announced yet, but it was pretty heavily leaked months ago. I’ll be getting it on the PS4 when it does come out. By far the best console.

Looking forward first and foremost to Cyberpunk 2077, and any information that may come from it. I’m a huge fan of 3D Projekt Red’s work. Secondly Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order has my interest as well. From a hardware standpoint some AMD Navi information and benchies would be faaaantastic.

I am very excited for the release of the new star wars game Fallen Order Electronic Arts. I have been a huge Star Wars fan since i was a little kid. Playing Star Wars rebel strike on my gamecube all the to the latest Battlefront. Looking forward to seeing how EA will change up this game and keep us consumers excited and waiting for more!
Borderlands 3 for sure. In two the gameplay was great and the writing was hilarious. If Gearbox gets that mix right again it will be a for sure to buy.
I’m definitely looking forward to whatever 343 industries drops anytime soon. Halo Infinite has been so under wraps and there’s been no details on what this new engine they’ve been developing will do for their next game. Hopefully it comes out as a new launch title for the next Xbox! Anything new Halo news at this point would be great
I am most excited for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order by Tecmo Koei and Nintendo. I used to play the first two Ultimate Alliance games all the time with my friends back in high school. I anticipate it will bring back alot of nostalgia and great memories, while creating new ones as well!
FABLE 4 being announced by Microsoft would be the most exciting announcement of 2019. The excitement I got when seeing it listed on Mixer was the nostalgic to say the least.
Nearly 10 years later my body remembers the excitement I had to shape volcanoes and oceans in Fable 3.
If this Microsoft game is announced at E3 it would be the most important gaming announcement for me in the last decade let alone 2019 because it was the benchmark I used to compare other games to when communicating with friends and fellow gamers.
A new installment of Fable would be better than a new season/alternate ending of Game of Thrones.

It was announced and made by Paradox Interactive for the PC. It will be released next year.
VtMB 1 is the greatest game of all time. It had an amazing atmosphere, replay-ability, great characters, player character choices that matter, ethical choices, great music, and a fantastic story just to start. I still play it today and have fun even though the game was released in 2004.
If VtMB 2 is half as good a game as the 1st one it will be a game that I play for many years to come. I am trying not to get too excited about it, but it is really hard not to.
I’m very excited for the release of Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening for the Nintendo Switch. I love the Legend of Zelda games because they were always a part of my childhood and every new game brings back that nostalgia.
I’m also very excited for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as that is the only shooter game I played back from Xbox 360 to now. The online game play is amazing and I can’t wait to play this one and smoke some noobs!
Looking forward to the release of Pokemon Sword and shield for the Nintendo switch. Love playing Pokemon with my daughter and she will be super excited to have the latest version in the Pokemon series!
I used to play Mario Kart with my kids and husband years ago (until they started tromping me! LOL!) Still love the game and I’m sure Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch will bring good memories back.

I have very high hopes for Final Fantasy VII remake by Square Enix for Playstation. I have very fond memories playing this with my siblings when I was a kid. It’s a great story that newer generations deserve to know, and with the remade version i’m sure it will transcend well. It’s a cult classic, and with how remade games are looking these days, my excitement is just through the roof.
Also excited to know more about the consoles coming up by playstation and xbox!
