Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. I am really looking forward to hearing some news about the next generation Sony console. I’ve been on the PlayStation bandwagon since PS1
Most looking forward to Pokemon sword and Shield on the Switch announced by Nintendo. It’s important to me because I spent so much time as a kid playing the early Pokémon games but have drifted from the handheld consoles and I got older but I’m ready to spend a lot of time in the new ones.
Very interested in Microsoft’s vision of the future of gaming consoles with their new console reveals.

I am most excited and hoping for an announcement from Microsoft for their next-gen gaming console codenamed “Scarlett”. Gaming has come a long way over the last few colsole generations, but I have a feeling the next-generation of consoles will really blow us away. Not just visually, but the whole gaming experience!
The game I’m looking forward to is Animal Crossing by Nintendo. When most of the games these days are mostly competitive and require a lot of concentration to win, Animal Crossing is such a great relaxing game to just build your home and town and making friends with the animal neighbours. A great contrast game when you just want to wind down for the day.

I’m most excited for Square Enix’s announcement of avengers because I have been growing up on marvel movies and I’ve always enjoyed Square Enix games.
Real excited for Borderlands 3 on the PS4 cause I have played all the main-series games as well as the spin-ff games. I just love this first person shooter developed by Gearbox Software and they made the announcement for this gaming title at PAX. Dying to play this.
Definitely looking forward to seeing some more Halo: Infinite! Would love to see some gameplay and even a little Xbox “Two” tease.

I’m excited for so many new games being announced/revealed at E3 2019. Mostly, I’d have to say Techland Publishing’s Dying Light 2 has me hyped for E3. So far, the game seems really immersive and the ability to make choices that change the layout of the story and city is amazing. Although it is difficult to say what I’m “most” looking forward to since there are so many awesome new games being released in the near future (Cyberpunk 2077, Borderlands 3…it’s going to be an expensive year).
Most excited by The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening since first seeing the trailer a couple of months ago, announced by Nintendo for the Switch. Been a huge fan of the Zelda series and this was one game I never had a chance of playing when I was a kid
I’m most excited about the next Call of Duty game as I am every year. I’ve been playing this franchise every year since Call of Duty: MW 2, and am excited every year when a new game in the franchise is released. This year, with Infinity Ward/Activision announcing the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it brings everything back full circle back to how I got into this great franchise and have spent countless hours, days and months playing with some of my closest friends hunting down players from other teams.
Since the original Modern Warfare game was released, me and my group of 5-6 friends would spend countless hours every week. With the release of a new COD game every year, there have been many times where we’d line up for midnight releases so that we can start the new game on day 1 and make our way up through the ranks to max prestige level before the next COD title is released. The amount of fun, enjoyment and camaraderie developed over the last 10+ years just by playing the COD franchise makes this upcoming release of MW all that more important for me and my friends as we play a re-imagining of the game that started it all for me and my group of friends.
I’m most excited for Cyberpunk 2077. CD project red is one of my favorite developers and I could not be more excited for their new game!

My biggest announcement I am waiting for is more information about Borderlands 3 from 2k games and Gearbox. Borderlands 2 has had a massive impact on my family as it is the first game I played alongside my sister and my brother in law. It is their favourite game and it brought us together as a family. The game even inspired the name of my nephew who is named Axton. I am really looking forward to Borderlands 3 being released and being able to play it with my family again.

I’m looking forward to Pokemon Sword and Shield by Nintendo. Pokemon games are always great for getting lost in and this next one by Game Freak looks like no exception, especially with the new presentation and world.
Really looking forward to playing The Last of Us 2 by Naughty Dog and Sony. That game reminds me of a really good time in my life and had me so invested in it through it all. I can’t wait to relive some of those childhood memories and play one of the most stunningly beautiful games again.
I’m excited for Cyberpunk 2077 and CD Project Red’s GOG Galaxy 2.0 releases. Cyberpunk should be at least somewhat revolutionary in terms of open world gaming, and the Galaxy 2.0 release will merge multiple launchers and PC platforms to reduce the importance and impact of platform exclusives on the social aspect of gaming.

I’m waiting for Microsoft to announce more about the new console, the anaconda! I switched from a PS 2 to the Xbox 360 and it’s been great! I have a one as well but looking forward to the next console!

I’m really excited to hear about a Nintendo game called Luigi’s Mansion. This game is only on the DS, I’m hoping they announce a switch version because it’s fun to play!
I’m very excited to learn more about Cyberpunk 2077 by CD Project Red. I’ve been waiting for this game to exist for years, and it’s finally happening! But honestly there’s so much to look forward to this year with Nintendo, Microsoft, and probably some surprises from THQ Nordic that might blindside people. Plus the fact that Microsoft has a 2 hour press conference. Lots to get pumped for!
Excited to see more of Halo: Infinite! Microsoft/343 will be making an announcement/showing off more of it at this E3. Halo has been a huge part of my gaming hobby since the original Halo. And then Xbox Live was a huge part of Halo 2…playing hours and hours online with people from around the world was pretty neat at the time (and still is!) And Halo has been a game I can always come back to.
Looking forward to seeing more Final Fantasy 7 remake for the PlayStation 4 – hopefully it’s worth the wait!
So far, Paradox’s Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 announcement for PC has been the biggest news of 2019 for me. It’s amazing to see a full-fledged sequel to a cult hit being announced at all, and seeing the excitement from the gaming community around it was phenomenal! While the first game was a bit rough around the edges, it had brilliant highlights that I can’t wait to see fully fleshed out in its sequel.
I know it is probably still a few years out, but I still am hoping that there is some news about the Metroid Prime series sequel. Metroid Prime was an amazing game with 2 great sequels and even a good port to the Wii. I really want to see how they are going to make it look.
Can’t wait the play the new ghost recon breakpoint by Ubisoft on my new ps4
I’m excited most about Halo Infinite for the Xbox One. I love the love that is put into Halo games and the vastness of their online community. I’m also looking forward to The Last of Us 2 for the Playstation 4. I just love that game.
I’m really excited about the announcement from The Pokemon Company about the new Pokemon Sleep (Select Button) and Pokemon Home (Cloud-based with Nintendo Switch), and the new Pokemon Go Plus Plus (Nintendo).
This is exciting to me because I just started playing Pokemon Go in March and have been playing every day since. I’ve made new friends and connected with old ones, all through a game! I love how accessible the game is, and that it encourages users to get outside, exercise and connect with people.
I think this announcement is further opening the doors of gaming and technology and really integrating games into our daily lives.
Also love that my sleep habits will help me play a game!
I’m looking forward to Square Enix’s announcement/details on the new Marvel Avengers game. I love Square Enix’s FFXV and Marvel’s Spider-Man, so I can’t wait to see what this one brings.
