Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. I’m really excited for Super Mario Maker 2 for switch! I watched a lot of gameplay for the first one but never played but now I have a switch so I’m pumped for that coming out soon! I really want sekiro shadows die twice for the play station so that’s what I’m hoping to win!
Can’t wait to hear about any unannounced titles coming out from various companies or updates on titles already announced, specifically games like Mario Maker, Dying Light 2, Gears 5, etc…so many awesome possibilities!
Borderlands 3 has me excited
Ever since Star Wars Celebration, I have been excited about Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order by Respawn Entertainment. I haven’t played video games in a while and I’m not a big fan of multiplayer games. So this game, being a single player game has me excited as a Star Wars fan. Hopefully more gameplay footage will be shown at E3. I’m also a bit curious what canon characters will make an appearance in the game. Darth Vader and/or Darth Maul? Crossing my fingers!

I’m excited for borderlands 3, by gearbox, and 2k. I played the first 3 games and have waited years for an actual sequel. I’m also hyped for Pokémon sword & shield, as Pokémon was the first video game I ever played.
Excited for the new COD modern warfare on all platforms looks like infinity war is going back to what it knows finally and those were my favourite games so hopefully it lives up to it!!
I am very excited about many games coming out in 2019, but most notably Borderlands 3 (developed by Gearbox Software) for PS4. This will be the first time that I get to play a new Borderlands game online with my friends and my brother who live far away, and I can’t wait! I am also super excited about the new Pokémon Sword and Shield games, but would need a Nintendo Switch to play it so here’s to hoping!
Im most excited for the Marvel Avengers game that square enix will be announcing. Im marvel comics fan loved them growing up reading and watching them in comics and movies. Ive really enjoyed the few games that have come out for them like the marvel vs capcom series and the lego marvel games. I know square enix will make a great game

I am looking forward to an announcement regarding the Sony PlayStation 5. I have been strictly only playing on the PlayStation since it first came out and I am excited to see what the new console will bring.

I am most excited for Modern Warfare which was announced by Activision recently! We are getting a reboot of the awesome campaign! And also some cross-play with Xbox and PC which will be super exciting to finally experience!
I’m looking forward to Marvels The Avengers by Squire Enix. They only teased it a few years ago and it’s been the longest time since we’ve actually been given the slightest detail. It’s important because the avengers saga just ended it’s Cinematic run with Iron Man and Captain America, so this is the best way to get my Marvel fix. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us!
Can’t wait for PS5 announcement from Sony. Wondering what kind of improvements they are making from PS4 Pro. Can’t wait to hear about the console and what games they’ll be putting out for it in their initial run. Thanks for the contest.

I am excited for the new Pokémon and super smash bros games, I’ve played Them since they were first released and have every generation up to the switch, I would really like to win the Nintendo switch so I can continue to play these great games from Nintendo
I was so excited when they announced the release of Kingdom Hearts 3 for PS4 this year! I started the 1st game as a child and it was a really magical game: you get to travel across the Disney worlds! How magical is that! With every game release, there was more buildup on the story, in which they never fully answered by the 2nd game. So having the 3rd game released was definitely an important event for me (Imagine waiting over 10 years to get the answers you’ve been waiting!).
Google’s Stadia is super exciting. The potential behind seamless pick-up-and-play between media platforms will make keeping up with my favorite games simple. Get home from a game session on my phone while taking the bus and pickup on my tv ~ that will be epic. It will be the future of gaming ~ accessing a powerful gaming computer remotely on any platform.
Im really hopeful and excited to see some cross platform announcements! I have family and friends who are big pc players and I don’t have one! Bring in the cross platform e3!

Hey Best Buy! There’s two things I’m really excited about this year at E3! A new game called Cyberpunk 2077, but mostly the PS5 reveal,
Ive been gaming since I was a kid and my first console was the PS1, me and my dad would spend hours in front of the screen playing Spyro or gran truismo. The playstation has made some pretty fun stories and memories for me. Ever since then I’ve owned every console Sony has made since. Im really excited to see what huge leap forwards the next console has to offer. The ps4 is already an amazing product so the PS5 will probably blow everyones mind. Ive found its a great way to socialize with friends who don’t live near me anymore when gaming online or use free time getting lost in different worlds. Unfortunately my PS4 has started to run its course from using it so much and new one would be awesome! This is why it is important to me. Thanks for reading!

I am excited about the Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled game that is scheduled to be released on June 21st for the Switch, PS4, and Xbox One. I really look forward to multiplayer games that have content that the whole family can enjoy together.

What I am most excited for is news on the new last of us game by naughty dog. Also I am super excited for news on the new gears of war 5 by developers the coalition ! Especially gears of war since I have grown up on these games and I still replay all the games In the series all the time !
To be honest, I’m not too up on what’s upcoming this year. I can say that I am a Nintendo fan. I raised my son on Nintendo. We spent many fun filled hours rescuing the princess and it brings back many memories. I haven’t owned a video game console since my original Nintendo died. When the Nintendo Switch came out I was overly excited. I love Mario games and read the Super Mario Party review on Nintendo Switch https://blog.bestbuy.ca/video-games/super-mario-party-review-on-nintendo-switch . I soooooo wanted that game and the Nintendo Switch. I still do. I want to play it with my now adult son and relive some of those wonderful fun filled memories of time spent together when he was young. He also has a young one of his own and grandma wants to continue on with the tradition and raise my grandson on Nintendo.
I’m really jazzed up about Square Enix Avengers title! Announced two years ago and the title just leaked, hoping to see some gameplay of Thor and Iron Man smackin around fools!

I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited about a video game as I have been after watching the trailer for Death Stranding, created by Kojima Productions for the PS4. This game looks more imaginative than most of the games on the market. The monsters in the game are like nothing we’ve seen before – terrifying, ugly and nightmarish. The open-world concept for the game means the ability to explore while simultaneously engaging the game’s most exciting features. This feels like one of those games that takes the PS4 (I don’t have one as yet, wink wink) to its absolute limits as a console, and Kojima being attached means my expectations are sky-high.
I’m excited to hear about Sony’s PS5. I’ve been with Sony for a long time now, since PS1 and I love gaming on it. I want to hear news on Borderlands 3 and the Last of Us part 2 also! Thank you for the opportinuty to win a package! Cheers!
I am most excited about the reboot of modern warfare. I am so excited to see a beautiful game in such great graphics and even the ability cross platform play. I’m a Playstion guy and my dad is an Xbox guy and my brother is a PC guy. Oh what fun we’re going to have when that come out. We can all play a great game together. Will this be the best game of 2019? Also really excited for death stranding. Can’t wait for a new horror game! I’d love any console package. Love all ranges of games and gameplay.

I spent countless hours playing the gameboy version of this game when I was a kid, so that’s why I would really like to play this game when it’s released.
I’m looking forward to Nintendo announcing the Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening date. I’m flying back to Australia for my brother’s wedding later this year and we used to play this game on gameboy together growing up. It would be great to relive that again on the switch for the long plane ride home!

It was a sad day when my lil sister broke my PS4, but moving on Last of Us 2 is my choice for this years hype. Final Fantasy VII Remake from Square Enix. I played the original over a summer, would be nice to reminisce.
I am most looking forward to information on Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC, the Final Fantasy 7 remake and the Marvel Avengers game, all from Square Enix. They have quickly become my favourite manufacturer because KH and FF are easily some of my favourite game series and I’m always excited to hear what new things they have in store for the fans 🙂

I’m really excited for the game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate from Nintendo for Nintendo Switch! I’m really excited about the game because I have so many memories of playing Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 64 with my brother and it would be amazing to make more memories playing with my brother again. I wish I could try the game on the Nintendo Switch Road Trip tour that Nintendo announced but all of the tour destinations are too far away from me unfortunately. I would be so happy if I won a Nintendo prize pack!
I’m looking forward to CyperPunk 2077 by CD Projekt, which will be available for multiple systems. This is a game that I use to play on table-tops, just watching the demo game trailer brought back some fun memories.
I’m excited for more information on 2K’s Borderlands 3, I thoroughly enjoyed 1, 2 and pre-sequel.
I’m really excited for all the quality easter eggs and references that they so well put into the series, into borderlands 3.
I can’t wait to start the day long grinds for the legendaries that are overpowered beyond reason.
I’m also excited for Mario Maker 2 by Nintendo.
I don’t have a switch or Wii U to play the original on, but one of my favorite pass times is watching streamers play puzzle levels that other users have created. All the new tech that’s going to be in Mario Maker 2 is going to be wild for the puzzles. Along with multi person level making mode. That’s going to be really really good for puzzle levels.
I also want to see about Final Fantasy 7 by square enix. I’ve yet to play the original because I never had the opportunity, but with everything I’ve ever heard about it, I’m probably going to play this game Quite a lot.
