Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. With the rapidly changing gaming landscape thanks to new streaming options you may have recently changed where and when you play games.

Hey, what I’m most excited for at this year’s E3, is the official announcement of Star Wars Jedi Fallen order from Unreal Engine. I feel as if we need a non Disney’ed Star Wars video game now, more than ever, enough said.. Also, a potential Next Generation Simpsons Hit and Run announcement from Ubisoft, just because that game when it was released, would look amazing with today’s graphics. Let alone, a next-generation version of it.
The Final Fantasy VII game remake announced by Square Enix! The game looks incredible and I can’t wait to see more of it at E3.
Looking forward to seeing more on Death Stranding for the PlayStation 4 – hopefully it’s worth the wait!

I’m very excited for the PS4 game The Last of Us part 2.The first was amazing and I’m really looking forward for the second one.Also the Super Mario Maker 2 on Switch.Final fantasy as well.Theres just so much I can’t wait!
Really excited about a lot this year and it’s hard to narrow it down to one. I’m going to have to pick squares FFVII remake. One of our favorite FF games not just being remastered, but full on remake looked amazing at the last E3 it was announced. So I can’t wait to see how far the studio has come with it since!
Looking forward to hearing about the next generation of PlayStation and Google Stadia. For games, hope to hear something new and innovative for Call of Duty. And new DLC for Division2 and MHW.

I am SOOOOO looking forward to the release of The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment. I was, and still am, a huge fan of Obsidian’s work with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Fallout: New Vegas because they put a great deal of care into their stories which a lot of game developers tend to shy away from these days. Being a film maker by trade, I’m always always very happy with the work that I’ve seen particularly from Obsidian and can’t wait to experience The Outer Worlds. Obsidian seems adept at marrying their story lines with a good helping of fast-paced, interactive action that makes their games worth playing all the way through and sometimes even over again (Fallout: New Vegas as a bad character). I love playing games with great graphics, character and artistic design, controls and particularly good story lines, and being a sci-fi freak to boot, I can hardly wait for the release of THE OUTER WORLDS!!
The graphics look incredible and the story line is perfectly set up for a run and gun, sci-fi freak player like myself to get their jollies. (The story line is of particular interest to me since it seems to be a reality our world is currently facing with ever expanding corporations, but run completely amok. Hopefully it’s not a vision of things to come…the world of Star Trek is a much nicer thought.) If the controls are anything like games past by them, then all they’ll need is a killer soundtrack along with everything else to have a real winner in my books. Even writing this out, I find myself getting excited like a kid at Christmas about the release of The Outer Worlds.
In short, I’m patiently waiting for the release of The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment to bring joy and happiness to not only my gamer heart, but my creative soul.
The Last of Us 2, for the Sony Playstation is what I’m most excited for. I love the developer Naughty Dog. I’ve played all their games over the years and I’ve never been disappointed.
Looking forward to see if any new switch designs and of course Zelda Links Awakening!
I’m definitely most excited to hear Microsoft’s Halo Master Chief Collection is coming to Steam along with future Microsoft published titles!
I am excited for any news regarding Animal Crossing! While my preferred franchise is Pokemon, they are pretty diligent about getting Pokemon information out to that fan base. And plus, with their mobile games, there are so many things to keep the Pokemon fan base content for now. As for Animal Crossing, it’s a game that’s been lightly teased for quite some time now, with little-to-no news or information. We got expanded teasers when Isabelle was announced for Super Smash Bros. Ulitmate, but other than that – almost nothing! It could even just be a remake of the original Animal Forest/Crossing and I would still be more than content.
Looking forward to play the game from UBISOFT coming out in October. I am a big fan of Ghost recon and this game is becoming more and more realistic .
Looking forward to seeing some more news and footage on Doom Eternal and Cyberpunk 2077. Also some more news on the new Modern Warfare game, seems really awesome from the reveal trailer.
I can’t wait to hear more about next generation PlayStation console as I have been a fans of PlayStation console start from PS1 to PS4. As for games, I am excited to see more about Final Fantasy VII remake. It was one of the best Final Fantasy series games
Looking forward for more gameplay and release date for Final Fantasy 7 Remake from Square Enix. The original FF7 was one of the first games I’ve played when I was younger and it holds a special place in my heart. Really excited for it and I hope it get released this year.
I’m most excited about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on Xbox. I have been the Call of Duty series since it was first released on PC and have enjoyed the Modern Warfare series since COD 4 on Xbox 360.
I’m looking forward to Microsoft’s announcement about their new console, Project Scarlett. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my old Xbox S to a newer, 4K (and higher) console. Also hoping to hear if they will be doing any virtual reality with the new console for more immersive gaming. That is the one area I would love to see more gaming from a console utilizing virtual reality headsets. This will bring VR gaming to more people who can’t afford to build a gaming PC with high-end graphics costing a couple thousands of dollars or more. If Microsoft gave enough details with their new console I would be willing to wait and see what they come out with.
I’m looking forward to Far Cry New Dawn. I loved Far Cry 3 as a favourite because of its seemless transitions. They have done an awesome job- looking forward to next instalment!!
There are many different announcements I’m excited for. Really interested in the Star Wars Fallen Order, Halo Infinite and Assassin’s Creed.
I am looking forward to seeing the direction that xbox is going with their new system. Also very excited to see the new game releases for xbox game pass.
I’m most exciting for Super Mario Maker 2! I cant wait to use the new tools in the game, and most importantly I can build a course with my friends sharing the same screen. I’m so ready!

Looking forward to the Final Fantasy 7 remake by SquareEnix! Having been around and excited for the original release in 1997 it is awesome to be able to have that nostalgia of being able to play it all over again! Also being able to finally see how Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie were supposed to look makes me very happy
I just found out that Nintendo has announced a new animal crossing game for the switch! I can’t wait to play as my family has owned and played every animal crossing game, starting way back when I was in grade school on the game cube 🙂 it is going to be the game that finally makes me go buy a switch lol!
CALL OF DUTY !!! i absolutely cannot wait for this to come out. it brings back so many memories of my little brothers and i quick scoping and trash talking each other in mw3 and i would always come out on top muahaha. hopefully nothing has changed after all this time.
I always been a huge fan of Mortal Kombat and each new release gets better. Mortal Kombat 11 by NetherRealm Studios on Xbox one will be the greatest fighting game ever!! More karaters, more action and of course more gore!!!!

More news on The Last of Us 2 has me excited. When I originally played the first one on PS3, I was blown away. Instantly became one of my favourite games of all time. I also bought the remaster on PS4. No doubt Naughty Dog will release another great game when TLOU2 drops.
I am very excited for ‘Marvel’s Avengers’. I’ve been looking forward to that game for a while.
I heard a rumour from my sister that there might be a Kingdom Hearts 4, so I’m curious if that is actually going to pan out. While I’ve never played the games (don’t have the right system for it), I’ve seen the cutscenes on YouTube and love the story and concept of the games (anime-like heroes meet Disney? Yes please!).

I’m really excited to see what Devolver Digital does this year. They usually do some interesting releases at their press conferences and they have a refreshing outlook on the future of gaming.
