Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. I’m really looking forward to call of duty modern warfare by infinity ward! So excited to hear captain price in the reveal trailer and the fact that they’re bringing back my favourite call of duty series. Had so much fun playing modern warfare 2 and 3 back in the day and hope that they will recreate that feeling in the new call of duty!
Switch Mario 2 for sure! I’ve been in love with Nintendo since I was a kid, especially the Mario games.
Biggest gaming hype this year was when they announced borderlands 3, that game is guaranteed to be a good time with a squad! So few great 4 player co-op experiences.
The game I’m looking forward to the most in 2019 is Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order by Respawn, I hope that it stays in the 2019 window!! and I can’t wait to play a story focused, single player game in the world of Star Wars again! ITS BEEN TOO LONG!
Hoping to see more details, gameplay and maybe a release date for the Final Fantasy VII Remake!
The one game that I’m most excited about (that actually stands a chance of coming out this year, unlike Cyberpunk 2077) would have to be Death Stranding by Kojima Productions. You can always trust Kojima to create an elaborate gaming experience that is entirely unique that leaves an impression on the player unlike anything you’ve experienced before.
In addition to this, I’d be incredibly excited if Capcom announced news of a Resident Evil 3: Nemesis Remake at E3 this year aswell, after the success of RE2. The original Resident Evil series on the PS1 (1-3) are still some of my favorite games of all time, and I’d love to see the third one get the love-letter treatment that the second one did last year!

I’m looking forward to the Nintendo presentation, especially for Pokemon sword and shield and the Link’s awakening remake! It would also be cool if they announced the new DLC character for super smash bros ultimate
Really looking forward to hearing and seeing more on the new Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game coming out! I have been waiting for a new Jedi style star wars game to come out since the last force unleashed game. I am a big fan of the star wars game series!
Super excited for Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare to come out. The modern warfare games were by far my favorite out of the call of duty games. I’m also looking forward to seeing how they cross platform works out and hoping that console will be able to play separate from pc as it is just not fair.
I’m really excited about Gearbox announcing the new Borderlands game on PC! I really enjoyed the previous Borderlands titles and there are so few good couch co-op games coming out these days so I’m looking forward to playing Borderlands 3 with my husband!
I am super excited for Final Fantasy 7 Remake from Square Enix on PS4!! The original literally made my childhood. The first game I ever fell in love with. Cannot wait for the remake!!!

I am excited about the new Call of Duty : Modern Warfare on Microsoft Xbox 1.
Pokemon Sleep! Which was announced by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo, and being developed by Select Button.
I just started playing Pokemon Go in March and I’ve played every day since. Even though I’m late to the party I’ve been welcomed to the community with open arms and have been making new friends and reconnecting with old friends.
This announcement is important to me because it shows how gaming can be integrated into everyday life. Pokemon Go is not only accessible to everyone, but also opened our doors and took gaming outside, and has made a connection between health and gaming. I’m so excited for this next step in the game, and also what it means for the future of gaming and technology.
I was very happy to hear that Sony and Kojima Productions are releasing Death Stranding for PS4 in November 2019! Metal Gear Solid is one of my all time favourite series, so I’m very excited to see what crazy new interactive story and gameplay experience Hideo Kojima’s mind comes up with.
Looking forward to The Last of Us II as well as all the new announcements from Naughty Dog and Sony!

Although it might be a long shot, I’m really hoping for an annoucement from BioWare about Dragon Age 4! I’ve spent countless hours playing the previous games and have been impatiently waiting for #4 since the minute I finished Inquisition (the first time haha). I would be ecstatic if they announced that they’ve been working on it so I can start counting down the days!
Looking forward to PS4 – Death stranding cause Kojima’s game was the best every time. I watched a trailer of the game, and it makes me fully expected.
The game announcement that I am most excited for in 2019 is Pokémon Sword, on the Switch, by Nintendo (Game Freak). I have always looked forward to the Pokémon games. I can remember playing Pokémon Crystal on my clear Gameboy Colour while we drove from Florida to Canada. Waiting for the streetlights to brighten the screen at night made making it though Dark Cave particularly tricky! The excitement of the game continuing on the Switch and the excitement of being able to play it on the much larger screen of my TV has me counting down the days until it’s release!
Definitely Halo Infinite from Microsoft! It’s been too long of a wait for a proper Halo installment in the main series. Hope it lives up to the hype, need me some Master Chief!

Nintendo’s Zelda, Link’s awakening game remake for Nintendo switch is going to be great. A blast from childhood, I really enjoyed the link to the past remake on 3ds recently, and can’t wait to play this one too.
I’m really intrigued by Remedy Entertainment’s Control. It contains all the right elements of what could end up being a fantastic game: Supernatural abilities, action-adventure style gameplay, and reactive environments. Can’t wait to check this one out on PS4!

Doom Eternal by Bethesda. Doom always has a warm place in my heart, big part of my gaming childhood to see it redesigned with awesome metal soundscore brings back memories and creats an excitment. This sequel promises to bring some cool additions and I’m hoping some more information on what’s happening next in the story.
I’m mostly excited for more information/trailers for Halo Infinite, I’ve been a huge Halo fan since I was a little kid, and can’t wait to see what 343i has in store for us this time around! Fingers crossed it pleases all kinds of Halo fans!
Netflix I heard somewhere there’s something to do with Netflix at e3
I am looking forward to 4A Games’ DLC to Metro Exodus. This game blew me away the first time I played it back in February. Can’t wait for new content for this game, it was definitely a highlight of this year!
So excited for The Last of Us Part II from Naughty Dog
Square Enix with their Final Fantasy VII R game. Want to see more after their last trailer and it’s expected to be a big show. I grew up with The original FF VII and it’s one of my all time favorites that I still play from time to time today.
Definitely looking the most forward to more footage of the Final Fantasy 7 remake from SquareEnix. Having been around for the release of the original ff7 and playing through that amazing game, it will be awesome and super nostalgic to be able to play through it again with a new twist on the game to make it fresh. Also being able to see all the characters redone in HD makes me super excited. Finally I can know what Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie were supposed to look like
I’m excited about the release of Playstation 5. I know there’s been no official release date announcement from Sony, and that it’s likeliest to land in November of 2020, but the recent reveal of specs and details about the platform has everyone excited, as well as the potential for wireless VR.
Really pumped for Studio MDR to release Cuphead physical copy on the switch!! Such a great game, played with my cousin on the xbox release endlessly through all the frustrating levels, but such satisfaction when getting through a boss/level!
Looking forward to what Rockstar will offer us in the future

With project xcloud and a possible new information on a new console e3 is this year is going to be really exciting and suspenseful. Not to mention the free dlc codes you can get for many games just for watching a live stream.
I’m most excited for any news on update Nintendo Switch hardware. I still haven’t picked up a Switch and holding out for some announcement at E3 to sway me.
