Finally after months of waiting, the event that our gaming customers have been waiting for is here: E3 week! Every year during E3 there are great announcements of new games, new features in games you love, and so much more. Check out our E3 hub for great deals from Best Buy, and great information from the show. Best Buy’s fantastic E3 2019 Gaming offers will be live as of June 7th.
Best Buy will be sending bloggers Jon Scarr and Mélanie Boutin-Chartier to Los Angeles to report on all of the announcements, and capture images and video from the press events (that begin on the weekend prior to the actual show) and from the showroom floor during the event from June 11 to 13th. What gaming announcement are you most excited about this year? Perhaps it’s a new version of a game from your childhood. Alternatively, it may be a recently released game that was demoed at last year’s show. This may be the year when you discover something new that quickly becomes a new favourite. Looking forward to the game Gears of War 5 by Microsoft for Xbox One. Gears of War is the franchise I love the most and I’m excited to see the new title of this amazing series!
Always excited for new additions to the Infinity Ward Call of Duty franchise. I have played every one and would love to see them all ported to the Oculus or any VR platform. I am really interested to see what Microsoft is bringing out in their new console!
Really looking forward to hearing more information about the new Avengers game by Square Enix. After the success of Spiderman on PS4 I am ready for another entry by Marvel Games to be amazing. I am curious also if Sony can get exclusivity on this game as well so that it only hits PS4 or if it will be going to Xbox and PC as well.
I’m most excited to hear about The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening from Nintendo. I had really fond memories of the game from when I was younger and Nintendo already blew me away with Breath of the wild on the switch so I’m optimistic on how they handle a remake/revamp.
Looking forward to animal crossing
I am most excited to hear any news on next gen consoles and Halo Infinite. I grew up playing Halo with my friends and its a game that always brings us back together, so a new title will definitely keep that tradition alive.
I am looking forward to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint from Ubisoft because I really enjoyed the last game, so playing in a different environment with enemies on a more level playing field sounds enjoyable, and seeing the new weather graphics in the trailer made me realize how underrated the trailer made it by showing other features that grabbed my attention.
Can’t wait for the new Legend of Zelda! My son and I both love Zelda.
The gaming new that excited me the most this year is SUPER MARIO MAKER DELUXE on Nintendo Switch, announced by Nintendo because I don’t have a Wii U and I always wanted to play this game.

Looking forward to Infinity Ward/Activisions up and coming call of duty game ‘Modern Warfare.’ I played the original Modern Warfare games and to see the characters I grew attached to get a brand new story with stunningly revolutionary graphics I must say I’m excited. I haven’t had the inclination to purchase a Playstation 4 but this is a game that I would truly love to experience and hope that they offer a demo at this years E3 so I can get a more in depth look!

I would have to say anything nintendo related is on my radar all throughout e3, cannot wait to watch their e3 direct, and see how the new president of nintendo Mr.Bowser helms the show. Hope we get to see animal crossing and metroid info. Im excited to see if microsoft will implement their games for use on the switch, as their have been some major rumours surrounding that.

I’ve been waiting to purchase a Nintendo switch and I think Pokémon sword and shield can finally be the reason why I purchase ( or win lol fingers crossed) a Nintendo switch.
Although Nintendo has yet to announce much about Animal Crossing, I’m hoping that we get a more solid release date from them at E3 this year. I’m so excited for Animal Crossing and the Switch because it’s the first console that I’ve bought with my own money. Additionally, I’ve always wanted to play Animal Crossing, but I’ve never owned the right devices to play it.
Looking forward to new console announcements! The Nintendo Switch 2 would be fantastic, and news related to the Sony Playstation 5 or next Xbox platform would be very welcome. Love the systems currently, but I always get excited about the future of gaming. Better performance, graphics, and innovative new features keep me hooked.

My son is a huge Nintendo fan & waits eagerly every year for the announcement of the new games
Looking forward to learning more about the game Doom Eternal from id software (assuming Bethesda annouces it but maybe Xbox will roll it into their show). The first game was an incredible reboot for the franchise and it gave mea ton of hours of great play and replay, which is something you don’t get often anymore.
I’m most excited for Xbox one x because it’s the only I don’t own and it has amazing graphics and gaming quality.
So excited for Monster Hunter: Iceborne! Winter is coming! Also grabbing Bloodstained as I love the Castlevania series and hope this one is just as polished.
Looking forward to Microsoft and the Xbox briefing and how Xbox is going to dominate next-gen. More news on Game Pass expanding will be a major focus and ofcourse a new console release. More collaborations from Nintendo and Microsoft will be a big focus I think as well. We need to see more of this to push the gaming industry to another level and connect all the gaming console communities somehow!
I’m really excited about Last of us 2 from Naughty Dog. The story is going to be amazing if the first one is anything to go by. I loved the online part of the game Last of Us, top notch shooter and stealth action. I think I lost more hours of sleep playing that than anything before. Also any PlayStation 5 news would be nice but I remember reading last month Sony wasn’t attending. Maybe they’ll surprise us!
My family and I are really excited about the upcoming Nintendo games! Really looking forward to Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokemon Sword and Super Mario Maker 2!
For me the most exciting news drop was when Nintendo announced Super Mario Maker 2 for the Switch. My son and I have never played the original (never had a Wii U), but we’ve watched a lot of videos of some great gameplay for it on youtube, and I’ve always hoped they’d come out with a new version on the Switch. I love when he plays creative games, and I think we’d have a lot of fun playing each other’s levels. I especially love that this one will be multiplayer, which will only add to the quality of our father-son gaming time 🙂

I think this is the type of game that would finally be the tipping point for me to get a Nintendo Switch for my kids – this would be a game I would play when they are not using it.

I am seriously looking forward for the new Luigi mansion game set to release this year for Nintendo switch. I’m excited because I would always play the original Luigi’s mansion on my GameCube growing up.
I am SOOOOO excited for the new Halo story! Halo has been around since I was just a little lad and it’s been with me ever since. By far one of my favourite gaming franchises and I can’t wait to see what comes next in Master Chiefs adventures
Looking forward to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Activision has done a amazing job on the modern warfare games, and I lost interest to the newer call of duty games pretty quick, I am hoping this game will bring me back into the game.

Nintendo’s Metroid Prime, i love everything metroid and have been waiting years for a new release!
Been waiting years to hear about the development of Final Fantasy 7 so it would be nice to hear if it’s something that’s being worked on and where it’s at (perhaps a release date if it’s already in the making)!
Dying Light 2 and Doom Eternal are also a couple titles.
Hopefully Nintendo will tell us more about the upcoming release of Super Mario Maker 2!

Hi, I have always been a kid who would love to game on a console. My parents won’t let me buy one and the only computer I could play games on is an Apple Mac so I am hoping to get any console.

I am hoping to hear an announcement from Nintendo regarding the game Rune Factory (whether it be 4 or 5). It has been a decade since the fan base has gotten anything. For a long time we thought Square Enix would not do anything with the IP due to disagreements in the background. A lot of us had given up. Even the thought of a port has us excited for the Nintendo Switch. I really hope we get to enjoy it soon. I would run to the store and buy it now.

I can’t wait for Death Stranding, developed by Kojima Productions, which releases on November 8 2019. Hideo Kojima changed my life when I was a kid with Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 and I’m ready for him to do it again with Death Stranding. His style of story telling is so creative and unique; this will be an experience like no other.

Nintendo switch with Smash Brothers Ultimate. How exciting!!! When my son’s were young Smash Brothers was one of our favourite games to play. Fun memories. Now that they are young adults it would be great to have new memories.

I need to know more about halo infinite. Halo on xbox has always brought some of the best social gaming experiences I’ve ever had. I am hoping it could be a return to form for an online format or a better couch coop. I was sad to see this feature missing from the last halo but I really enjoy playing my way through the collection that Xbox released with its bundles a few years ago.
I’m excited to see what Microsoft is going to bring to the table. They have quite a few studio games in making and I hope the announce a few. Plus with the PS5 confirmed in development I’m hoping to see if they will issue a response.
