I find it amazing that Mario is still a stalwart companion for all Nintendo gamers. Everyone loves him. In fact, there are many articles and social threads where people argue about who is more popular: Mario or Mickey! Nintendo has a bevy of familiar characters that have a long history—and, that have become part of our own personal histories.

Monster Hunter Rise game for Nintendo Switch

I have many wonderful memories of my children playing Mario Kart with their grandparents for hours and hours. It was almost impossible to get a turn for myself!

And Nintendo keeps producing games to join the ranks of our favourites. The newest one will launch near the end of this month: Monster Hunter Rise. This action role playing game (RPG) will bring on those feelings of familiarity for veterans of the Monster Hunter series, but offer exciting new characters and surprises to thrill everyone. Note: as with all popular new releases, you should pre-order it since they all tend to sell out by launch day or soon thereafter.

Okay, so I know you can’t answer that question until you play the game, and you can’t play the game until you have it, and at the time this contest launched Monster Hunter Rise was still only available for pre-order. But humour me and think about it and speculate: do you think Monster Hunter Rise will become your new favourite Nintendo game. Then, enter this contest for a chance to win this great prize. The Best Buy Canada marketing team used this Nintendo Switch Lite in a display for a couple weeks a while back. They then asked me if I wanted to give it away to a blog reader. So, now you have a chance to win it!

  16. My favorite Nintendo game of all time… It’s somewhat a really tough question! There’s going to be two parts to my answer! When playing alone I’m going to say Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars for the Super Nintendo. It was rich, had depth and interesting cast of characters from the Mario universe that we got to meet! I didn’t play monster hunter rise yet by your review it sounds really good! As for playing with other players, I’m going to say Mario Kart! Needless to say that I spent so many hours playing with my childhood, high school and college friends! It’s a family friendly game that anyone can learn to play and this is not Dark Souls challenging at the beginning!

  37. I’m really dating myself, but my favourite Nintendo game of all time is Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I played that game about 150 times start to finish and still never found all the heart pieces.

  38. That’s really tough, I’ve played a ton of animal crossing this last year, but I’d have to say my all time favourite is Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, and I can’t wait to play it again on the switch!

Mario is the real original game, he is the icon to the video game creation. i hope to win so i could give it to my grand child. . there is a fun game for every age group. its exciting to look forward to something during these stressful times. being isolated and being indoors more due to covid 19 virus its games like this that help you get through the day and help pass some time. hey you could actually learn from some games as well. so with this contest entry tucked away in the back of my mind im hopeful that everyone here has some enjoyment and fun to break up the serious days of this pandemic. the economy has been greatly effected too so winning is so much better than buying.   43. Oh that’s a hard tie, probably Animal Crossing: New Horizons or The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s mask. It’s really hard to decide which one I love more.
