BenQ projectors

Projectors have been around for many years, yet I don’t think they get the love they deserve! They are more versatile than a television, can display everything from movies to presentations on a huge range of surfaces, and they enable to project a huge range of image sizes. Find out for yourself: enter to win one of four BenQ projectors from BenQ and Best Buy.

Many years ago, when my children were younger, I bought a projector to use as the main display in my basement home theatre. I was shocked that it never stayed in one place: my wife would move it to the bedroom to watch a movie when she was sick in bed, my kids would move it to their bedrooms for sleepovers, and I even took it to work a couple times for presentations. That’s something you certainly can’t say about a television. Rarely a day went by that it was not used for movies, gaming, work and more.

What are some of the great features found in BenQ projectors

Get one of the newest projectors in your home from BenQ and you’ll be amazed at how much you’ll use it. The prizes that we are giving away in this contest, two BenQ SVGA DLP Data Projectors (MS517EH) and two BenQ 1080p DLP Home Theatre Projectors (W1090) were reviewed here on the blog by Erin Lawrence: read her review and you’ll learn why she was “blown away.”

Here are some of the features that impressed her about both projectors:

  • virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go
  • projected a massive image with amazing clarity
  • bright display even in a brightly lit room

… and specifically about the W1090 (which is designed for home theatres)

  • automatically found the input source including Chromecast
  • picture was remarkable: “this picture rivaled any TV”
  • internal 10W speaker provides fuller sound than the data projector

Which of these features stands out for you as the best? Will you use it mostly for work, for streaming movies … maybe for gaming! Enter now and you may get to find out for yourself how great BenQ projectors are.

You can enter twice for this contest: once by leaving a comment below that tells us which of the features of BenQ projectors is your favourite; once by leaving a comment that tells us where you will you use the projector the most (work, living room, bedroom, etc.). Win a BenQ Projector contest Rules and Regulations

  1. You tube. Game play streaming video
All the the things 2 teenagers will use it for

    Various sporting events for dad

  2. Would love this for my kids gamlng and recording room
My boy is into gaming and my daughter is a musician that composes her own music
They both live on youtube for inspiration so this would create a nice setup for both their needs

The room in question is a work in progress but is a nice out of the way place for them to have their own space

  3. I will use this in our family/media room downstairs. We have comfy reclining chairs so we can sit back and enjoy the show.

  4. All the features are great, but I sure love the fact that there is virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go. Means you get to enjoy it almost instantly and with no frustration.

  5. I will use it in my Family Room, where we spend quality time with family watching our favorite shows and movies. I have a big window in family room. BenQ is pretty good in the fairly lit room and that feature impresses me the most out of many other features.

  6. But i would use the BENQ projector in the liviing room facing the main window as the room is not as big as others have

  7. virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go. This is the best feature because I would never figure out how to hook it up otherwise 😉

  8. My favourite feature is the “virtually no set up required; plug it in and it is ready to go”. So simple and easy 🙂

  9. Have been thinking of getting one for years but I didn’t think the picture was good enough unless you spent a lot .But I think the affordable projectors have gotten much better over the last few years
