Hisense home theatre technology will make your holiday family movie and TV show viewing better than ever. Their amazing televisions offer amazing screens for a visual experience you expect. For me though, I like the really big home theatre experience you can only get from a fantastic projector. And for projectors, you can’t get much better than the one we are giving away in this contest. I’ll discuss a few of its amazing features that I like most, then let you know how to enter for a chance to win.
Features that make the Hisense 4k Ultra Short throw projector perfect for any home
Many of us still enjoy going out to see a new movie occasionally. However, nothing beats choosing what you watch, when you watch, and with whom you watch. The best home theatre experience can only happen in the home. To make it perfect, you need a great screen: either a great television or a great projector. For my money, a projector wins!
This is especially true with the right projector like the one we are giving away in this contest. The Hisense L9G Trichroma 100″ 4K UHD HDR Smart Laser TV is perfect or almost any home. I want to draw attention to three features that stand out to me as the most useful for a great home theatre experience: connectivity, image size, and visual performance.
Connectivity: with two HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, and digital audio output you have multiple ways of getting content in and great audio out. Importantly, it has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth too: stream anything you want for ultimate versatility.
Image Size: this projector comes with a 100″ ALR projector for an amazing full wall of exceptional viewing. How big is that? Look at your puny 55″ television and imagine diagonal length twice as big. Everyone you invite for that big game or exciting movie night will be impressed with the picture. And you don’t have to mount the projector on the ceiling ten feet away from the wall, or take up precious seating space for the projector. Place it right next to the wall and the image is “thrown” up onto the wall. Trust me: you will be amazed!
Visual Performance: expect a crystal clear image, amazing brightness, and lifelike colours with this Hisense projector. How can it achieve this when placed so close to the wall? Well, it’s because of the amazing ALR screen that comes with the projector. ALR stands for ambient light-rejecting screen. The screen is textured so it basically reflects light coming from below out to the audience and light coming from the side or above (that is ambient light from windows, skylights, and lamps) away from the audience.
We sent this projector to writers for an honest review in English and in French. However, the reviewers did not want to permanently mount the projector on their wall (since they had to return it to me so I could give it away in this contest). They projected the image on a white wall, and the image was still great. However, the winner of this projector will be able to keep it, and mount the screen for an amazing home theatre experience.
Holiday viewing brought to life like never before
I wish I could watch my favourite holiday classics for the first time again in a huge theatre. Watching movies like “Elf” or “It’s a Wonderful Life” each year is great, but imagine if you could forget the movie entirely, and see it for the “first time” on the big screen! That’s kind of what you can do with a new big screen TV or a projector like the Hisense projector we are giving away in this contest. Invite lots of family and friends for weekly holiday movie nights so everyone can relive the magic of seeing it for the first time.
How to enter
Entering this contest is easy and you can enter in two different ways.
- Visit the product page to see the list of features, then in a comment below tell us the two features you like best about this projector.
- For up to three (3) additional entries, create a public post on a social media channel (one entry per channel!) sharing with your friends and followers one holiday show you really want to watch using this Hisense 4K projector; include the hashtag #BBYHisenseContest, so we can find your post, and include a picture of the prize like that shown in this article. Then return here and tell us in a comment below what show you mentioned, on which channel you posted it and the name of your channel (since many people use pseudonyms) so that we can check and verify your entry. 25,000-hour lamp life and the 4K Ultra HD Resolution
The two features that I like the most about the Hisense L9G Trichroma 100″ 4K UHD HDR Smart Laser TV projector are:
1) the 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 native resolution, many of the past reviewed projectors have only offered up to 1080p resolution so this projector’s offering of 4K resolution is definitely a step up.
2) the multitude of connections being supportedd by this projector: Two HDMI 2.1, one HDMI 2.0, one USB 3.1, one USB 2.0, and one digital audio output (optical) give us plenty of options for connecting external devices.
I think the long lamp life of 25000 hours. Second thing is wifi and bluetooth, which makes is versatile.
The 2 features I like most are (1) 3,000 lumens of brightness enable outstanding visual performance, even in rooms with ambient lighting and (2) Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity lets you connect wirelessly to compatible devices.

Hard to pick 2! Might sound weird but the fact that it has an HDMI port is awesome so that I can connect my firestick to it so that you don’t always have to connect your phone if you have guests. And of course… 4K! so many crappy quality projectors, if you get you should try to get one with a really good quality. Hope to put this in my bedroom for the rainy days this winter.

I like the 3000 Lumens and the fact it has Dolby Atmos.
The X-fusion triple laser RGB light source sounds like it would project great, vibrant color which is important. The Ultra short throw technology is a bonus so we dont have to worry about setting it up in a small room!
