Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical

There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. (My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee. These lovable, interactive critters can say and do over 40 things, and have extra long arms for hugging and hanging around. Hatchimals too, offer children a chance to have their own animal companion.   4. I would choose the Bolt Robotic Ball for my Nephew. There would be nothing cooler than owning your own robot and you can continue learning in a unique way. I know we would have hours of fun with this neat toy.

  5. I like the idea of my son playing with the Sphero BOLT Robot. It would allow him to build skills he’s going to need for the future, but in a fun way. I think tops toys like this will build his self confidence too.

  9. My son would love the anki cozmo robot or anki overdrive or drone with camera (any really), he is a budding engineer with a love of robots and new technology, always has. He has worked hard all his life, born with a learning disability, he has never let his disability hold him back and is an honor roll student with big dreams. He inspires me everyday.

  14. Ok, The Amazing Jungle Water Fall from JumpOrange would bring AMAZING joy to my grandniece who is 3 years old. She got to go in a bouncy castle at a birthday and thought it was tremendous fun. And this has a water slide too. (It’s so great, I wish they had an adult size!)

It makes me wonder how excited they would be if they knew it was motorized and that mommy could control it too to keep them safe near our home!   45. K’NEX Sky Sprinter Roller Coaster building set is what I would love for my kids. My kids love roller costers and building sets remind me of when I was a kid building things with my brother.
