Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical

There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

Sphero creates toys like the BOLT robotic ball to teach kids coding through a block-based visual language. Using the Sphero Edu app, you can control the Bolt’s movement and speed, as well as the colour and brightness of the built-in LED lights. (My personal favourites were Fizzgig from Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal and Pegasus from Disney’s Hercules). On of the hottest toys this year are the Fingerlings Hugs by WowWee. These lovable, interactive critters can say and do over 40 things, and have extra long arms for hugging and hanging around. Hatchimals too, offer children a chance to have their own animal companion. The electric kid ride is the most magic toy for my girl.My girl is almost 10 month old and it is incredible for that she is keen on cars .She has many toys cars and she plays all days.And she like to crawl to chase the car. We introduced Jurassic park Series to her for the first time this year cumulating in going to the movies to see the newest Jurassic world. She loved it! She especially loved the Lockwood estate and the grand daughter character who is similar in age to my daughter. She also loves LEGO so having these worlds come together for her would be pure magic!

  34. Wow, so many to choose from. My granddaughter is nuts about Unicorns, so I am going to choose the Jimmu Robot Unicornbot Kit. I think her dad would love putting it together and her baby sister would like it too, so really it’s a gift for the whole family!

  47. My oldest son is 6 years old. Being 2 months premature hasn’t stopped him. Right from the start he had skills above his age. He is incredibly smart and would faint if I could give him Cozmo. I think this robot would give him a challenge and nurture that amazing brain of his. He will go places and I know Cozmo would make his entire year.

    She’s been obsessed with cars since she was a baby, she puzzles and loves lego building, her favorite color in the world is Orange (and she’ll tell every person she meets) she’s kind, sweet and so creative.
