Sphero, Anki, and Oculus make learning magical
There is a huge range of STEM and robotics toys available these days, and the best part is, they’re so much fun to use that kids will enjoy learning.

My oldest son has always been asking for a Hoverboard for almost a year or so now…. as a single parent it’s extremely hard and difficult to be able to afford high tec toys nowadays I always feel extremely bad and a failure when my son keeps asking for one every year on holidays and his birthdays. I picked Board Games for my 10 year old grandson. Any game from the board games category would be great for his age group. I picked it because I’d rather see him play board games and get off the video games. We didn’t have video games as kids and I think it would be fun for him to physically roll the dice rather than have a computer do it for him 🙂

Last year my husband had a stroke around Christmas time so we didn’t get a very merry Christmas, we are praying this year will be different. Our girls would love anything from the Melissa & Doug play set such as the food produce or the stainless steel pots & pans. I love to cook and bake and they love copying mommy with their own play kitchen. Our boys on the other hand are super into the tech toys and I think the anki Cozmo would definitely impress them.

For me, I would go with the Sphero BB-8 (Sphero BB-8 App-Enabled Droid) for my oldest son.
He has been a big fan of the newer Star Wars movies, and loved the adorable ball-shaped drone since day one.

LEGO City Advent Calendar would bring the most magic to our family. LEGO and counting down to Christmas all in one package would bring fun and anticipation.

My daughter would love the elegant 18 Doll Manor. One thing I love about my daughter is her ability to still play. She has a wonderful imagination and plays for hours with her dolls. While most kids her age are giving up on toys and play and are focusing on phones, boys and stylish clothing my daughter is dressing dolls. (She is 10) . The longer she can stay a child and the more I can promote this type of play the better. Being an only child this will give her more opportunities to explore and make believe.
