Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challengesā€”I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell usĀ which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

  1. The Sphero Star Wars R2D2 App Enabled Droid is a dream come true for those of us who grew up on Star Wars. It has all the nostalgia of the original movies combined with cutting edge toy technology.

  2. Sphero R2D2! I loved him the first time I met him watching Star Wars and now I can watch the movies with him! Who would have ever imagined that!

  3. Love, love, love the UB Tec Storm Trooper! The Sentry Patrolling feature that lets you order the robot to patrol and detect intruders is cool beyond cool and is sure to impress any teenager! This would make me the best grandma on the planet! Thanks for the chance!

  4. I would choose the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid so i could test it out on as much stuff as possible. Who wouldnt eant a sidekick like that. Always was a favourite little companion.

  5. Whoa. Everything is awesome, but I would die over the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 APP-Enabled Droid. I LOVE R2!!!

  6. R2-D2 has always been my favourite character through all of the movies. Who doesn’t want their own robotic companion. Seeing how the app enabled droid reacts to the movies and is as quirky as on screen made me fall in love automatically. I have the BB8 droid and would love to have all 3 of them together to watch the stat wars movies together.

  7. I’m going to have to go with the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid <3 When I was little, there was an Artoo toybox in a toy catalogue, I wanted it SO bad. It was big enough for a kid to fit in! Although it was at the top of my Christmas list, I didn't get that R2-D2 toybox, but I've collected every bit of R2 merch I could over the years. This app-enabled droid would be the coolest! Please make my Christmas dreams come true, Best Buy!

  8. I want them all haha! No seriously I would love to have the SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID, because since the first time I saw Star Wars many years ago, I wanted to have an R2 unit and besides is one of my favorite characters.

  9. The propel-star-wars-x-wing-battling-quadcopter-drone is my favourite! Itā€™s my favourite because my son and I always play Star Wars on the PS4 and usually play the levels where we are X-Wings. We spend quality time together and he would love this toy!!

  10. I would like the Lenovo jedi challenge so I could train to be a great Jedi Master.
    It looks awesome .

  11. SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID. He is the original droid and the coolest of all droids. R2 is also my sons favorite so having this would blow him away.

  12. The SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID would be my favorite of the bunch. I have my kids at school build a robot and I could bring this one as super cool show and tell… also being old school Star Wars makes it even better… It would be a great addition to my ever growing Star Wars collection

  13. App enabled R2D2 for sure!!!! I have loved that plucky little droid since 1977!!!! He always cracks me up

  14. Oh my goodness! These are the Star Wars Lovers Dream! All of the items are amazing, but if I had to chose a favorite it would probably have to be the vr headset with lightsaber and beacon! That sounds absolutely incredible! I am sure many of us have had dreams of growing up and being a Jedi and this kinda helps it come true! Plus, I would become my nephews favorite person! Good luck to all!

  15. Little Bits Droid kit! Its on my son’s Christmas list! The videos of it look so cool! My 7 year old loves building stuff, robots, Star wars and interactive toys so this is going to be a huge hit for him this Christmas!

  16. The Lenovo Jedi Challenge…
I have always loved the lightsaber. Eversince I was 5 and saw star wars for the first time, I’ve always wanted to own one and use it to fight Darth Vader and other villans from the star wars universe. Now with this system i have the chance to do just that.

  17. My favourite is the UBTECH STORMTROOPER because ever since I was a kid and saw StarWars, I’ve always wanted my own Stormtroopers to order around, and from that moment on I also wanted to own my very own robot. This is BOTH of those things in one tiny, amazing package! A robot Stormtrooper to give orders to… it’s like they picked the concept right out of my brain. He’d be handy as well because one of my house mates keeps pinching quarters from my change jar, and I need to patrol that area since no one is owning up to it. Plus, I do need to increase the size of my collection because I don’t have enough Stormtroopers yet. šŸ˜‰

Thanks, and good luck to all the other folks who entered!

  18. The TIE Fighter drone. Even though they represent the Empire, I have always loved the unique design of the TIE fighter and it’s variants, and to own a flyable TIE would be something that I could only haves dreamed of when I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, enjoying the original trilogy for the first time.

  19. Propel Star Wars X-Wing Battling Quadcopter Drone. I think it’s a perfect blend of past and future. A biplane but a futuristic fighter.

  20. My fave is the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES because seeing that scene when luke is blindfolded and practice with the light saber was something I always wanted to do as a kid and now I can (if I win that is, lol!)

  21. Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is definitely my favorite. Who doesn’t dream of using a real light saber? Until I perfect the real thing; using this when the kids are in bed would definitely fill the thirst.

  22. UB Tech Stormtrooper because my son is obsessed with Stormtroopers and it’s a robot. Who doesn’t like robots?

  23. I think the Lenovo Star War Jedi Challenges would be my favourite, because who doesn’t want to actually be a Jedi?

  24. R2D2, from a very early age my son has very curious mind, he always has to know how things work. When he was very young we would often find him watching our front loading washing machine, looking under it trying to figure it out. He is very mechanical and computer savvy so this is the perfect gift for him.

  25. Sphero R2-D2
I’ve loved R2 since the first Star Wars movie all those years ago, who wouldn’t want a little R2 unit buzzing around the house!

  26. I really like the droid inventor kit, I’ve always wanted to build my own and R2D2 is one of my sons favorite characters. The light saber training kit is pretty cool too.

  27. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid, because it’s big enought to look like the real one (I still like the sphero one but it’s more like a Baby BB-8 than a regular one )

  28. I would love to win the Sphero R2-D2 App-enabled droid! I cosplay as Princess Leia, and it would be amazing to have my own droid to follow me around.

  29. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is my favourite because I’ve always wanted to experience VR and my family & I like to re-enact scenes from the Star Wars movies. With this prize, we could do both together. May the force be with you!

  30. The LITTLEBITS STAR WARS DROID INVENTOR KIT is my favourite because I enjoy building models and it would allow me to be creative

  31. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges is what I want to win the most because I would love the opportunity to train like a girl jedi and beat my son and husband in a lightsaber duel. Not to mention how cool it would be to take a ‘relaxing’ moment away from a stressful life and train in the only virtual world I wish was real.

  32. The little bits Star Wars droid inventor kit, as Iā€™m trying to get my kids engaged in everything stem.
With Star Wars being part of our families DNA, this is just another way to bring the force into our house.

  33. Sphero star wars R2D2 App Enabled Droid
Well first off it’s R2 and we can watch the movies together and he will interact with them.I would also like to explore what I can do with my smart device, I wanna win this bad I love star wars

  34. The Propel SW X Wing Drone CLR ED because the X Wing has been my favorite Star Wars flyer since the very first time I saw Star Wars A New Hope.

  35. The UBTECH stormtrooper robot because who wouldn’t love a stormtrooper robot on their desk, let alone one that can patrol and detect intruders šŸ™‚

  36. I love all of them, but I would love to win the Littlebits Star Wars droid inventor kit because it would make me so happy to be able to sit down and build this with my three children, especially since it is something I couldnt typically afford myself. They all enjoy designing and creating, so this would be a wonderful way to nurture their curiosity with science and engineering as well as a great opportunity to make many great new memories together.

  37. Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenge – our 11 year old daughter is a complete Star Wars freak and would die if this was under the tree for Christmas

  38. SPHERO STAR WARS BB-9E APP-ENABLED DROID because I have dogs that would just be friends with it and it would come to the dog park with us.

  39. The PROPEL SW SPEEDER BIKE DRONE CLR ED because it seems like the most fun you could have flying a drone.

  40. It is not for me but my husband and my sons. the would love the droid inventor kit. My husband has always wanted one and my boys would love to help there dad. Thanks for the chance to give them this. you guy rock.
