Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challenges—I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell us which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

Good Luck!

  1. My favourite is the PROPEL SW X WING DRONE CLR ED. The Propel SW combines my desire to own a drone with my love of Star Wars. I like the fact that it is equipped with an altitude stabilization mode makes piloting easy, T Mode for beginner pilot training, and auto takeoff and landing.

  2. The jedi challenges is my favourite as you can feel like you are part of the movie. It’s something you could use multiple times as you try to get better and better, rather than something that will sit on the shelf.

  3. The PROPEL SW SPEEDER BIKE DRONE CLR ED is my favourite because I’ve wanted to ride a speeder bike since 1983. Plus I could torture, I mean, play with, our new puppy.

  4. littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit
My son is into electronics and making these style of kits, provide hours of fun for the family, while providing him education and knowledge for his future (he wants to be an electronics engineer).

My step-son is crazy about everything Star Wars! Movies, cartoons, books, LEGO, figurines, bedding, clothes, you name it, he wants it!

I would love to win one of these prize packs so that he, his brother, their dad and I can all play with the amazing toys! My spouse and I saw a video of the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR Headset with Saber & Beacon in action and were completely amazed! This is something we have talked about saving up to get the boys for Christmas, but it would be a challenge so winning it would make this the best Christmas ever!

  15. R2d2 app enabled droid, would be awesome, my husband is a huge collector of Star Wars, he has quite the collection and we’re always adding to it, he would love any of it.

  16. The Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges would be my prize of choice, because I love the idea of an interactive VR gaming experience that could mimic what Luke went through when he trained on the Falcon with the remote droid! So much fun!

  17. Gotta be the Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-Enabled Droid. R2-D2 has always been my favourite Star Wars character – he’s so damn cute plus this toy looks like it would be so much fun to engage with.

  18. It has to be SPHERO SW BB-8 APP-ENABLED DROID W/TRNR, because it’s soo cute and how fun to be able to have BB8 rolling around the house and for the kids to use in their video’s when they make them. Also great for learning to interact with technology as well 🙂

  19. Sphero BB9-E; would love to add BB-8’s counterpart to the family. My son would be ecstatic with both of them rolling around the house, not so much his mother.

  20. The SPHERO Star Wars R2D2 APP enabled droid is my favourite… Love hearing those droid ” beeps” .. My fav. Star Wars droid!

  21. The Sphero R2-D2 is my wish list! R2 is the most courageous, bravest little droid of all; his bleep-boop’s, weeooow’s and phbrrrrk’s transcend all barriers! Would love to explore the Millenium Falcon with him, or use the Watch with Me feature for Force Awakens before seeing The Last Jedi. I Artoo!

  22. The LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES VR gear and game is my favourite new Star Wars toy that is coming out this year. I grew up as huge Star Wars and science fiction fan in the 80s. During that time I lived in a very small town where access to new toys, new movies and other new books was limited. This was a time well before the Internet and online shopping existed, so it was extra tough to feed my obsession with popular culture and science-fiction. Near the end of the 80s, just before I left my small, home town to go to university, I became intrigued with the concept of virtual reality. The technology, at the time, was very much in its infancy, but even then it promised to be the next big thing. Now, twenty-odd years later we are finally seeing VR and AR technology starting to come to fruition and I find it extra exciting to see that a Star Wars Jedi lightsaber dual game is helping to lead that charge.

  23. I would love the UB TECH STORMTROOPER simply because I Love stormtroopers they can’t hit the broad side of a barn but the armour is hype.

  24. The UB Tech Stormtrooper is iconic. The stormtrooper is unmistakable and a known ‘villain’ through generations. Although Darth Vadar is THE villain, who would he be without his minions!! This would be the toy of ages!!

  25. The Jedi challenges vr headset.
What kid hasn’t dreamed of wielding a lightsaber? I’ve been wanting that dream since I was a youngling.

  26. The littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit would be awesome! Why? Who wouldn’t want to build a droid! I know my daughter and I love Star Wars and the thought of building a droid is AMAZING!

  27. I’d have to say the TIE fighter drone is the favorite. My son loves flying drones, and the TIE Advanced is my favorite ship.

  28. Having an actual Jedi lightsaber battle would be the coolest toy ever! I’d love to win the Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges for my 10yr old son, but secretly, Mum would use it in her spare time!

  29. LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES looks really cool and it would feel like you are in the movie! For sure my favorite and would love to try that out. BB8 and the Stormtrooper were a close second. Absolutely awesome giveaway, I am a huge fan of Star Wars and have my fingers crossed for this one!!

  30. The Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenge! I was a fortunate kid in the 90s being able to see the re-release of the original trilogy in theatres. The scene(s) in the original where Luke practices with the flying bot droid deflecting the lasers with the lightsaber was THE coolest thing, and if I get to live that even a little bit then life truly is LIT.
