Star Wars toys keep getting better with each new movie. Two years ago, when “The Force Awakens” introduced the cute droid BB-8, Sphero introduced their incredibly accurate working version of the droid. Star Wars toys are an integral aspect of the experience: many of us grew up playing with them. So with a new movie arriving this year, Best Buy will help ensure this tradition continues by giving away almost $4000 worth of Star Wars toys in this contest! Which one are you dying to add to your collection?

Star Wars toys are not just for kids

Star Wars toys were always the coolest thing around. When we were kids they were cool, and nothing has change: kids today still love them. Interestingly, adults still love them too. They are not just for collectors either. I’ve met many adults who either still have Star Wars toys from when they were a kid, or ones they’ve acquired more recently.

I have a shiny silver Millennium Falcon that I think is great. It sits next to my computer at Best Buy’s head office. I used to have this massive tie fighter (shown in the image on the right) at my desk too. Unfortunately, our office was recently rearranged and it had to be moved. If I was to choose one of the newest toys as a replacement it would definitely be the Propel Speeder Bike Drone shown in the image at the top.

Boost your Star Wars collection with one contest entry

Few people have the dedication, and the good fortune, to have a large collection of Star Wars toys. Enter this contest and that will change. We will give away 2 great collections of this year’s new Star Wars toys as shown here:

Each of these prize packages has intelligent droids, exciting and fun drones, and the just announced, augmented reality wonder: Jedi Challenges—I bet this will be the hottest new toy for Christmas this year!

How to enter

As with all contests on the Best Buy blog, entering is easy. You can enter only once. In a comment below this article, tell us which one of the Star Wars toys in this contest prize is your favourite and why (you must tell us why it’s your favourite).

What you can win

We will randomly choose 2 winners from all eligible entries. One person will be awarded Prize A shown above, and the other will be awarded Prize B. Each prize is worth approximately $1880.

This contest runs from October 20th until November 2nd, 2017.

Remember you can only enter once. With prizes this fantastic, I suggest you increase your chances by telling all of your friends and family to enter too, and propose if any of your win you share the prize! Use the share buttons below to easily post the contest on your social channels.

Good Luck!

  1. I initially seen this competition, thinking it was too good to be true, my initial reaction was of Admiral Ackbar and “It’s a trap!!” Now seeing how awesome this is, I’d have to say I would love the UBTECH Star Wars Stormtrooper Robot. I could assign a code name “TK-412” and he could patrol my house telling strangers to “Move Along” and ensure that my current KT2SO “is not the droid he was looking for” 🙂

  2. BB8 is my favorite. When we launched into the action and adventure world of Star Wars the whole family got involved, including my 4 year old and my 25 year old alike.

  3. The littlebits Star Wars droid inventor kit. My son is always talking about building a robot. Star Wars is also his favourite franchise. A two for one for the win!

  4. Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges, because I’ve been very curious with the sudden advancements in virtual reality technology, and love the Lenovo brand name when it comes to tech stuff.

  5. The Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges is my favourite. I’ve collected anything to do with Star wars since I was kid and I don’t want to stop. 🙂 Good stress reliever after work!

  6. The little bits droid building kit. I would love to build this with my son. It’s neat to teach them how things work

  7. I am entering for my son. He favors them all but really loves the PROPEL SW SPEEDER BIKE DRONE CLR ED. Why? Anything Drone – gets him super psyed. 🙂

  8. The Sphero Star Wars R2-D2 App-enabled droid would be my favourite pick. R2-D2 was in the first Star Wars movie that premiered in 1977. He is a major character as much as Harrison Ford (Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) to the Star Wars Movies.

  9. BB8 App enabled droid. Every time we are at Best Buy my 3 yr old son runs over to the display and toys to play with it! The look on his face watching the promo is priceless. He loves BB8 the way I loved R2D2 as a kid and because of that the whole family are BB8 fans now.
This would just be an amazing fun family toy to have and play with together!

  10. The Propel X-Wing Drone!!!! I’ve always dreamed of putting on the orange flight suit and piloting one of those ships, getting that toy would be the closest I can get!!!

  11. It’s gotta be the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges. All of the toys look awesome but I’ve always loved the light saber and to do it with a training / sparring program would be the best!

  12. littleBits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit is my favorite because R2D2 has always been my favorite staters character.

  13. The R2D2 app droid and BB-8 App droid are my fave because I love those crazy droids – R2D2 has always been my fave and BB-8 is coming in as a close second – Having remote ones would be very cool

  14. This is definitely my favourite: Littlebits Star Wars Droid Inventor Kit! Not only is it fun, but kids (and adults!) will learn so much by building a droid. This toy makes learning fun!

  15. Spin Master Star Wars BB-8 Interactive Droid. Personally my new favourite character. My niece is a huge Star Wars fan and I’d be so lucky to be able to give this to her at Christmas. I can just imagine her and BB-8 inseparable.

  16. My favourite is the Sphere R2D2 droid because it my favourite character from the series and with already having a R2D2 Lego set, a mini R2D2 that could actually move is an exhilarating idea

  17. The propel x wing drone look amazing!!
I always wanted to fly a xwing i guess with this one ill be able !!

  18. I’m pretty sure I would make a great Jedi so I’d have to say the Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges VR headset would be awesome to have. Everyone in my house would fight for it. Literally! 🙂

  19. I like both R2D2 and BB8 droids. I always wanted a robot to program to do things for me.
Actually they would be Christmas gifts for my three grandsons. May the force be with you!

  20. The LittleBits Star Wars Droid inventer kit is something I would love to have! With that, I could try and get my girls more interested in Robotics, Programming, and Engineering! Star Wars Droids are their favourite part of Star Wars – and this would be something they could connect with – and I build some great memories with them.

  21. SPHERO STAR WARS R2-D2 APP-ENABLED DROID

This is the droid that my son and I have been looking for!
Nothing beats R2D2, the droid assigned to Jedi’s that shaped the history of thr Galaxy!

  22. I get it. Having a little R2D2 following you around would be pretty cool, but how can you not pick the LENOVO STAR WARS: JEDI CHALLENGES? I’ve dreamed about wielding a lightsaber for 30 years and I’m super annoyed that it’s 2017 and they haven’t been invented yet. This is as close as we can get…for now.

  23. Has to be the Sphero R2D2 as it brings back childhood memories of how badly I want something exactly like it.

  24. Oh. This tough. Both are amazing. Prize A .
The drone kit would be fantastic. My 11 yr old twins would learn so much about coding and building. We love projects we can do together and omg! It’s Star Wars!!!

  25. The R2-D2 Droid is my fave… I loved the original Star Wars movie and he is such an awesome character from it. Brings back great memories for me.

  26. Lenovo Star Wars: Jedi Challenges. Why? Because light sabers. Oh, and Jedi, my sons middle name is Jedi.

  27. R2D2 definitely, brings back memories I would like to share with my daughter. And it could chase the cat.
