I am impressed with Samsung phones. I switched to the Android operating system with a Samsung phone almost one year ago and I’m so glad that I did. I learned very quickly over the last year that Samsung phones meet the demands of an online editor with ease. Android is the easiest operating system to use for everything

I am on my phone for work and pleasure NON-STOP! As such, I was nervous about switching to Android. I sure didn’t need to be. Within a couple hours of owning my new Samsung phone I was doing everything I wanted. I also had much better battery life, much faster charging, a better camera, and more. The transition was effortless.

I’ve learned that there really was no risk at all: more people use Android than any other operating system. With about 3/4 of mobile users on Android, app creators have a huge incentive to do their best work on Android.

  1. I wrote on Ted’s review that the camera and battery life are my top two, but for the sake of adding two more I’ll add in some different pics.

    The refresh rate and 5G connectivity would definitely be a great addition to a new phone!

  8. Two features that would benefit me the most: 1) battery life: I’m a PhD student and I use my phone for work when I am commuting and between classes. I need my phone to work all day. 2) camera: if I can use my phone effectively for video conferencing for school and home, that would be amazing.

  9. 1) Always a fan of the phablet. My own phone is 6-inch but the 6.9 inches and thin bezels will make my user experience more fun for daily use (i.e. browsing the internet, e-mail and mobile gaming).
    2) The 108-megapixel standard wide lens means while I can take amazing shots during everyday use, there is still the opportunity to use the camera for special occasions that require the higher quality imaging. This also means I can also use the device for high quality video recording when I need it.

    • My contract expires July 24 and I’m looking into the new Samsung phone, I currently use the Galaxy S9.
      Two features I like about the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G are the long battery life because I’m on my phone a lot, and the 6.9 inch screen would make it easier to read articles/blogs

  21. I like the bigger size as it lends to a better screen to read – magnifying a screen often is tricky as they over-magnify making it worse. A nice long battery life means less worry on trips and outings.

  34. The camera would be a great update for me. I have an A5 and still love it. Having grandchildren now would be nice to have the camera and the better video feature since I do a lot of facetime with the grandkids

  35. 5g connectivity and 120hz will move gaming truly mobile especially with project xcloud. Amazing times we live in, gaming on the go allows me to game when I can – which can be difficult

  39. Samsung have the best phone ever, i switch from blackberry to Samsung and never switch to another brand my family is all about Samsung.

  41. I’m happy to see Samsung going back to flat screens I was not overly thrilled with curved, its cool but I prefer flat.
    The Space zoom and better camera than the lower models is a huge draw for me as I do a TON of social media management for people amd better photos are a top priority to me.

  42. I hate carrying around reading glasses to see things on my phone, Samsung hands down has the best screens on the market. Second, with kids always having a camera on hand that takes usable pictures is a necessity.

  46. For me its the incredible camera (108MP) on this S20 and the fact the phone is 5G which will be perfect for streaming games over streaming services such as Xcloud and Stadia.

  48. 120Hz refresh rate and Space Zoom. I rely on my camera daily, and having ultra zoom and a super slick screen makes all the difference

  50. Tired of lugging around cameras and charge blocks, so long battery and great camera will make trips to Disney more enjoyable!
