Philips shavers and toothbrushes motivate us to care for ourselves. I am a huge advocate of their products: I’ve used Philips shavers my whole adult life. And for the past few years I’ve had cleaner, healthier teeth thanks to my Philips electric toothbrush. The benefits go well beyond looking better too. Enter this contest and if you win you too will understand why I never want to be without Philips.

Discover the importance of “me time” with Philips

How much time in a day to you set aside for personal care? I know some people do a better job at this than others; and, circumstance may have changed recently for many people, so they aren’t doing things like haircuts and dental visits as often. That should make setting some time for yourself each day even more important.

Many guys lately, me included, have been letting their facial hair grow lately. I don’t mind having a beard; I do mind when it is unkempt. With a Philips shaver or trimmer trimming and shaping your look would do more than just make you happier with your appearance. Putting yourself first for a few minutes each day will make you an overall happier, healthier person.

Finding personal time each day is easier with personal care tools

We all need to invest some time each day on ourselves to stay healthy and happy. One great thing about the new Philips electric toothbrushes is they tell you when you’ve brushed enough. Most people who get one learn immediately that they had not been taking enough time for oral hygiene. I realized very quickly after starting to use my Philips toothbrush that my whole mouth felt better and looked better as a result.

For this contest, I want you to think about how much time each day on average you actually spend on taking care of yourself. Then imaging if you won a prize in this contest and how using it for a few minutes each day might benefit you.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy but you can only enter once. In a comment below, tell us how many minutes on average in a given day you spend on yourself and do you think this is enough, too little, or too much.

What you can win

At the end of this contest we will select 6 winners. One will receive a Philips Sonicare Toothbrush, 2 will review Philips Total Boday Shave and Trim,  and 3 will receive a Philips Shaver 6000.

This contest runs from May 1st to May 17th.

Remember you can only enter once. However, you probably know someone else who could use a few more minutes of “me time” and would love a chance to win a Philips prize so share this contest with them.

  1. We have one bathroom and I usually am the last one in it each day and night. I spend about 15 minutes in the morning and night before bed in there other than when I’m showering.

  2. I spend a half hour in the morning and a half hour at night. Its way less than I think I should for maintenance

  3. This would be a great gift for my boyfriend. He spends about 30 minutes getting ready in the morning, and I think that’s just enough!

  4. I don’t spend enough time on me before leaving the house. Perhaps this would help me accomplish more in those fleeting moments. My wife would probably appreciate that.

  5. On average, I spend about 20mins total… as an Emergency Services/FIrst Responder, I work shift work and tend to need to have to do things relatively quickly and efficiently in order to maximize time and ensure that I have time for my family, and while at work, to ensure that I am prepared for the next call.

  6. Depends on if I’m leaving the house and where I’m going 🙂 If I go heavy on the makeup it can take an hour or more to get ready, which is probably too long but everything needs to be just right. If it’s just a quick trip out it’s only 5-10 minutes which is enough to look presentable with my hair tossed up and most likely just moisturizer/sunscreen on my face.

  7. I usually spend 25 minutes or so a day, at least 20 minutes every two days is shaving. It’s enough time, but I wish it was less.

  8. I spend about 20 minutes at night, after a long day of work. That’s too little and Phillips products would be welcome to increase that!

  9. Including my extended shower (to warm up in this never ending cold weather, I spend about 50 minutes per day on myself. My utilities bill tells me that this is too much.

  10. I spend about 30 to 45 minutes getting ready in the morning. I think this is about right

  11. 20 min Total. More time needed. Usually this is in 5-7 min. burst of energy. Teeth, hair, moustache, beard and cleanup take time to look good for spouse, and very important.

  12. Usually an hour & a half each day, split between the morning and evening. I think this is a good amount of time after taking care of my family during the day.

  13. Hmmm during normal circumstances maybe 10 minutes. Now during quarantine maybe 20 minutes to get ready to go to the living room.

  14. I probably spend 10 – 15 minutes on myself. Some days it seems like enough other days i’d like to spend more time on me!

  15. I probably only spend 10 minutes on myself and i should spend more but there never seems to be enough time.

  16. I spend about 1-2 hours on myself a day downing on what I have going on that day, I think its definitely enough time , I have a strong feeling about keeping myself clean and feel its important to care for yourself in order to feel good about yourself:) hope to try the free sample!!

    Thank you , Chealsea Gill:)

  17. I spend about an hour to an hour and a half to myself I think that’s a good amount of time when im free for the day and have nothing else to do.
