Many gamers I know either love their gaming chair or lament not having a really good one. Gaming is not an activity you can just get up from every half hour to stretch and reset.   1. I make sure the room ha accurate lighting. Take frequent breaks and watch my posture.

  2. It’s a great idea to get up out of your chair, take a break and maybe do some stretches. And maybe enjoy some water while on your break.

  3. 1- You need to get a good ergonomic chair with lumbar support, high back with headrest & height adjustment.

  4. Gamers can stay healthy by stretching out legs and arms by taking mini walks and doing wrist exercises!

  5. Hydrate with water, give your eyes a break from the screen, do cardio every second day…specifics can be researched to see how long one should be raising their heart rate etc. Get outside!

  6. Important to take regular breaks, to move & stretch. I love lifting myself up by my arms (on the arms of my computer chair), then slightly twisting my body as it hangs – often you get a crack in your lower spine, and feel great pressure relief!

  7. What I’d be concerned about would be the weight capacity of the chair. I’ve done in quite a few computer chairs in my time.

  8. I use a Fitbit watch that remind me that I didn’t made at least 250 steps in the last hour. Time to take a break!

  9. Every hour or so it can be very helpful to get up and do some light stretching, and to also stay hydrated! Too many gamers don’t drink enough water.

  10. It is really important to take breaks often and not game all day and all night long. Do some stretching and/or yoga, walk around or some other form of exercise.

  11. Make sure you are moving your legs and neck often. And hydrate with water often. Not just coffee.

  12. Aside from getting up and moving, make sure you’re eating appropriately. Junk food will slow your mind for gaming and will pack on the pounds, making it harder to get in shape via exercise.

  13. Important to take breaks, drink lots of fluids, and eat some healthy snacks while at the computer. Make sure that the headphones aren’t too loud. Set your monitor at the correct height and has a good refresh rate.

  14. My son is 9. He has been asking for a gaming chair and he would be so happy to win this. He’s the most giving, kind young man I know.

  15. I like keep juggling balls next to my computer for mini breaks or long loading screens.

  16. Gamers can stay healthy by not sitting for too long. They should get up, stretch, and walk around periodically.

  17. my suggestion is to set a water timer. Often gamers forget to drink enough water, something that can have very bad health effects . The water timer will help remind them that they need to drink water often to stay hydrated!

  18. Every hour, stand up, move wrists in a few circles, stretch wrists, flex fingers, and close eyes for a couple minutes.

  20. It’s important to have the correct posture perfect chair. Bad posture is why I have back problems.

  21. Take a break to: Go to the bathroom. Go get a healthy snack. Go do some stretches. Go splash water on your face.

  22. Take a break from gaming and go outside and do some stretches. The screen can strain your eyes too. So its important to take breaks away from the screen for your eyes.

  23. Get a break app to remind you to every so often get up and walk around for a bit / take a break.

  24. It’s the same as when working from home: get up and walk around a bit to shake off the stiff muscles. Plus, the proper head support is just as important too!

  25. Take a break from gaming by moving away from your screen. Set up an exercise routine or just go for a walk.
