Many gamers I know either love their gaming chair or lament not having a really good one. Gaming is not an activity you can just get up from every half hour to stretch and reset. Every 20 minutes look away from the screen and stare at something else 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
Do exercises while sitting with your feet to enhance your circulation & so your feet don’t fall asleep while you’re playing your game.

Every 15-20 minutes look beyond your monitor (at least 20 feet) and look all around with just your eyes. Focus on different objects away from you and around you. Remember to blink your eyes as well to make sure your eyes won’t dry out and begin to burn while you are gaming.
Keep good posture (a great chair can help with that), keep hydrated, snack healthy, like fruits and vegetables and do hand and wrist exercises (and other general stretching) regularly.

Always have liquid ready for drinking near you when gaming. Take big sips between breaks and matches which make you need to get up and go to the washroom eventually! That’s the stretching opportunity right there! It works for me and it’s great!

Remembering to eat and to eat properly! I always try to keep a bunch of chopped up veggies on hand so I don’t reach for the easy bag of chips. Also, contrary to popular belief, Mountain Dew: Code Red is NOT a food group!
