A MotionGrey desk in your home may be just the game-changing home office enhancement you’ve needed for a long time. Let’s face it, sitting in a chair for eight or more hours a day is not healthy. You do it because you feel you have no choice to stay productive. However, millions of people have switched to a standing desk. With, MotionGrey, you get the best of both situations, and Best Buy is offering a chance for someone to find out how great a height adjustable desk can be.
Adjustable desks for anyone to get more work done
Back in the not so distant past, when I travelled to the office each day, many of my coworkers opted for a standing desk. This struck me at the time as an interesting solution for some people who may not want to be sitting for work. Some of these desks were amazingly versatile, allowing the worker to sit or stand as they desired. And the people who had these desks said they were more productive and happier at work by having the option to sit or stand when they wanted.
I recently found out that Best Buy’s website has desks like these available for everyone. MotionGrey desks have a sturdy steel frame construction, and a motor enabling the tabletop to move from 73 cm, for when you want to be sitting, up to 118 cm so you can set it at the height that is right for you. At the push of a button, the motor quietly ascends and descends the whole table top, computer and all! The quality tabletop is easy to clean, water resistant, and has safe, rounded edges. So, anyone working from home who enjoyed the benefits of sitting or standing at their old office, or just for anyone who wants these benefits now that they work from home, can order one simply and easily online.
4 benefits of a height adjustable desk
You know that numbing feeling mid-day after about four hours clicking on a keyboard, focussing on text and numbers. Perhaps your back starts to twitch. You need to get up from your desk but have too much work … and the day is only half over. Having the option to raise your desk to stand changes everything. You know you wouldn’t get the best sleep if you had to stay in the same position all night. By adjusting from sleeping on your side to your back or the other side, you are more comfortable and ultimately you function better the next day. Similarly, with a MotionGrey desk, you’ll enjoy the ergonomic benefits of versatility including less pain and discomfort, better mood, burn more calories, and increase productivity. Do you know someone who would love these benefits? Enter now for a chance to win.

I have a standing desk at work but since “work from home”, I have been using my kitchen counter and laptop. I find that now that I am sitting – I am more prone to wasting time on the internet than with my standing desk.

choice of height is great, also with motorized adjustment. I like to paint (watercolors) standing up, but also if sitting have to adjust the seat height so this would be very convenient.
Reduced back pain would be great.
My wife Kelly would love a desk like this too. She’s often sitting working at the kitchen table so she would like this too.

Would love to start working from home. I have scoliosis, and a desk like this would help me immensely!
It will be good to stand one in a while for my back.
Raphael can use this so that he is not just sitting for long hours while playing.
It would benefit me as I’m a recent graduate as certified Medical Aesthetician. Trying to please clients with my current kitchen table is very difficult. I have purchased a rack with so all my supplies are movable, which is a lot easier. I don’t have to set everything up like had to before.
It would help my posture for sure, being able to stand instead of sitting all the time.
My husband Darrin would also love a MotionGrey desk for working from home since he’s still been using our kitchen table. His current setup isn’t ergonomic so this desk would really help!
I don’t know what’s harder on my body: sitting for hours at a time or being on my feet for 8 hours!
Either way, aches and pains result, and neither are great for my 47-year-old back, feet, or legs! (I DO NOT want to develop my maternal gene pool’s legacy of varicose veins!) It’s really hard on one’s body to sit for hours in one place—long-distance flights or road trips (if you can remember what they were) are a perfect example of this. It’s also hard to STAND for long periods of time!
Mixing things up—sitting/standing at various intervals: would certainly help my posture, end-of-day energy levels, and provide some variety to the daily (albeit, usually enjoyable) droll.
Using a MotionGrey desk while I work would really benefit me because I sit at the computer all day and have backaches from sitting too much. I previously had a standing desk in the office and I really enjoyed the flexibility to raise or lower my desk when I needed to focus on certain tasks and I noticed it did increase my productivity. Fingers crossed to have this MotionGrey desk at home!
My husband would love this as well to help with his posture and work efficiency

My friend, GLo, could really use this, due to her lower back issues.
Using a MotionGrey desk for my work would be a benefit, to me, because when I working on something, I don’t want to let it go, to get up and move around, which is better for my health. So, if I had a MotionGrey, all I would need to do is elevate the desk, stand, and continue working, which is much better.
My husband Michael has back issues and has daily computer work where he sits for long stretches, so the MotionGrey desk would alleviate the back pain by standing while working.
The MotionGrey desk would be ideal for me while I am on the computer far too many hours sitting, so I would be able to stand and continue to work, which is definitely a healthier alternative.
I’m sure my 14 yr old, Matteo, who’s currently 6’2″ (and still growing!) would love to come home to a desk that he doesn’t have to literally squish his legs under while he completes homework/projects.
I’d love to have a desk that would reduce my neck and shoulder pain. By adjusting IT to ME instead of using “things” to give my laptop height, and, not to mention, being able to stand up and stretch while still being able to continue working for a few mins every hour would be phenomenal!
This would be a great ergonomical addition to my office
My husband Cam would benefit for this too because he’s a foot taller than me and has chronic lower back issues. He would be able to benefit by standing too!
I always needed either a keyboard tray, foot rest, or adjustable monitor arms due to my short height and not really able to use standard desks. The desk being adjustable and being able to stand and adjust according to my height will be so useful for me ergonomically!
