Surface Laptop 4

Microsoft has just taken the wraps off the Surface Laptop 4, the fourth generation of the company’s innovative, ultra-light laptop. Everything that made the Surface Laptop great—including its brilliant PixelSense display and optional Alcantara luxury fabric palm rest—is still there. But the Surface Laptop 4 offers more choices than ever along with the latest high performance processors from Intel and AMD.

AMD Ryzen or Intel Core: you choose the processor

If you feel strongly about the processor in your laptop, Microsoft has you covered. You pick: a custom AMD Ryzen Surface Edition processor with Radeon graphics, or an 11th generation Intel Core CPU with Intel Iris Xe graphics.

There is no wrong choice here. Either way, you get the latest generation processor, with high performance, 4K video support, and long battery life.

The Surface Laptop 4 is also equipped with up to 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and a removable SSD with capacities ranging from 256GB to 1TB.

You choose the display size

Microsoft is continuing the move first made with the Surface Laptop 3 of offering two different display sizes. For ultra-portability, there’s a Surface Laptop 4 with a 13.5-inch display. For the ultimate in mobile productivity, there’s a 15-inch option.

Both versions are high resolution (201 PPI), high contrast PixelSense displays with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 10 point multi-touch, and Surface Pen support.

Surface Laptop 4Equipped for working from home and remote learning

Anyone who finds themselves working from home or taking online classes will find the Surface Laptop 4 is an ideal laptop. It’s equipped with a 720p HD f 2.0 web cam that offers excellent low-light performance. Dual far-field Studio mics ensure your voice is loud and clear. Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Atmos support aren’t just great for watching streaming movies, they ensure you hear everything clearly when on a video call.

Wi-Fi 6 will ensure your online connection is fast and reliable. The backlit keyboard makes typing easy, even in darker rooms.

Amazing battery life

Whether you are mobile or trying to find space to work in your home, being free of electrical outlets is a big advantage. Depending on the display size and processor choice, the Surface Laptop 4 offers anywhere from 17.5 hours to 19 hours of use on a single charge. That gives you an incredible degree of freedom to set up wherever you like.

Still ultra-stylish and ultra-portable

With the Surface Laptop 4, Microsoft is still offering the choice between a metal finish, or the signature Alcantara fabric, with a variety of stylish colours.

Surface Laptop 4All the latest connectivity

Surface Laptop 4 is equipped with all the latest connectivity tech, both wired and wireless. This includes USB-C, a Surface Connect port, Bluetooth 5.0, and Wi-Fi 6.

Microsoft hasn’t forgotten that many of us still have a sizeable collection of peripherals and accessories that use the old USB Type-A standard. The Surface Laptop 4 is equipped with a USB Type-A port, so you can plug in your thumb drives and other accessories without requiring a dongle.
