I actually sent this product to Dave Neufeld for a review from a gamers viewpoint, and to Brad Moon for a review from a productivity viewpoint. Dave found that as a gamer, this was the ultimate epicenter of his gaming setup. Brad, however, suggested that you might not get the most from this unless you regularly managed large files, and had a computer capable of capitalizing on the high data transfer rates from the Firecuda.

  23. I think 500GB would be ideal in my home to backup data on my computers. But if you ask my husband he would probably say we need more.

  28. 500GB is enough as long as the games aren’t going to be replayable or receive size increasing updates for years.

  29. The more storage the better! It would be nice to save all the family photos in one place! 1TB wood be ideal for our family.

  32. How much storage is enough: that is a difficult question. A 500GB SSD (or larger) would be glorious strictly for the speed. However, as a guy that likes to capture game play videos and edit them, a larger 4TB drive would be sweet. The dream would be a 4TB SSD but my wallet is a tad light for that currently.

  33. I need more! I’m always buying more storage as I have a lot of images to backup plus I like to have backups of all the audiobooks I own. Add to that storage for gaming and I am a bottomless pit! Lol!
