At a preview launch event in New York City in early December, we got the chance to see the new line-up from HP. To help you find the best HP computer to meet your needs, here’s a summary of some of the best new options.
HP OmniBook Line

The HP OmniBook line is the most versatile option. It’s ideal for families, students, and with more powerful units, even business professionals and creatives. There are models at every price point to suit every type of need.

HP OmniBook Ultra 14
The line includes next-gen AI PCs with Intel or Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite or Plus processors. This affords up to 85 trillion NPU operations per second for easily running AI tasks. Ultra slim and lightweight at just 2.81 lbs., it’s made from forged anodized aluminum with an anti-fingerprint finish and meets 20 military standards tests. You get all-day battery life with fast charging capabilities. Equipped with a 3K OLED touchscreen and AI-powered FHD camera with AI noise reduction and quad speakers, it has features like Smart Dimming and Posture Detection. Get up to 64GB memory and up to 2TB storage in the laptop that comes in a striking Stone blue finish.

HP OmniBook 7
Available in both 14- and 16-inch sizes, the 14-inch comes in AI and next-gen AI versions, both with AMD processors. Designed for on-the-go professionals, it meets military-grade durability standards. It is tested to endure up to 25,000 hours of HP Total Test Process to ensure the ability to withstand heat, humidity, and minor drops. Along with the next-gen AMD processor with AI-boosted power, you get Windows Copilot, USB-C charging, and up to 1TB storage. The 3K OLED display affords vibrant colours. AI-enhanced video calls are possible with Windows Studio Effects along with audio tuning by Poly Studio. It comes with 32GB or 64GB memory and 512GB or 1TB storage. The included 100W GaN power adapter affords fast charging while the unit weighs just 3.4 lbs. Get it in Glacier silver, Meteor pink, or Powder pink.
HP OmniBook 3

OmniBook 3 models come in 14-inch, 16-inch, and 17.3-inch screen sizes. You’ll find traditional entry laptop models, AI PCs, and next-gen AI PCs with more powerful next-gen processors. With an Intel processor, the 17.3-inch model has a larger clickpad with gesture control, affords multi-screen productivity, and comes with an optional FHD camera with advanced noise reduction. Choose from Intel or AMD processor options along with anywhere from 4GB up to 32GB RAM depending on the model. Internal storage ranges from 128GB for light workers or cloud storage users up to 1TB. Weighing just 4.43 lbs., it comes in Glacier silver, Mica silver, Starlit blue, and Jet black.
HP OmniBook 5

In the HP OmniBook 5 series is a 14-inch model, a 16-inch model, and a Flip 14-inch model that can be used tented or as a tablet as well. The 14-inch model comes in several configurations. The model with the new Snapdragon X2 Plus processor boasts fast charging, getting you to 50 percent charge in just 30 minutes. It also has a 2K OLED display, dual speakers with HP Audio Boost, Windows Home 11, up to 32GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage. Intel Core 7 or Core 5 as well as AMD Ryzen 7, AI, or 5 versions boast a 3K OLED screen with 16GB RAM (32GB RAM option for AMD as well) and up to 1TB storage. There’s Intel and AMD next-gen AI processor variants as well.
The 16-inch version comes with a Snapdragon X2 Elite or X2 Plus, Intel Core 7, 5, i7, or i5, AMD Ryzen 7 or 5, or Intel or AMD next-gen AI processors. For the Flip model, you get a versatile form factor that comes with the HP Rechargeable Pen, fast charging, optional Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6. Running Windows 11 Home, it’s loaded with an Intel next-gen AI processor, up to 32GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage.
HP OmniBook X

The OmniBook X line includes 14-inch and 16-inch models along with their Flip variants as well as a larger 17.3-inch model. The OmniBook X 14-inch next-gen AI PC is designed for style-minded professionals and freelancers. It has a lattice-less keyboard with wider spacing and deeper key contours. Measuring just 12.6mm thin and weighing under 1.3 kg, it boasts an all-day battery. Equipped with an Intel processor, get up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB storage. The more rugged and powerful 16-inch model comes with up to 64GB RAM, while the largest 17.3-inch model tops out at 32GB RAM and 2TB storage. The two Flip variants give you the option to use them as traditional laptops, tented, or flat tablet style. Get them with Intel or AMD processors.
HP OmniStudio Line

The line of OmniStudio all-in-one desktop PCs is perfect for office workers and creative types working from a single location who will benefit from the large screen and powerful performance.
HP OmniStudio X

The new 27-inch all-in-one desktop next gen AI PC in this line has the sizable QHD Neo:LED display, Intel next-gen processor with AI, and optional NVIDIA graphics. Use Thunderbolt Share to transfer large files easily between two. Enjoy multi-screen functionality through features like Look to Move, Screen Shift, and Task Group. A unique feature is HP Surface View, which allows you to tilt the mounted camera downwards during a presentation to show what you’re working on. This is complemented by Poly Studio audio for immersive sound.
Employing a four-sided micro-edge design, it comes with an adjustable stand and two Thunderbolt 4 ports with USB-C. Running Windows 11 Home or Pro with Microsoft Copilot, choose from a variety of configuration options when it comes to memory and storage.

HP OmniStudio All-in-One Desktop PC
The 23.8-inch and 27-inch all-in-one desktop PCs and next-gen AI PCs both come with an Intel or AMD processor. The smaller model has a 24-inch FHD display and is powered by an Intel Core processor with up to 32GB memory and up to 1TB storage. With support for features like Screen Shift, Task Group, and HP System Control, you get HP Eye Ease, a three-sided borderless design, adjustable stand, and optional HP True Vision 1080p FHD IR privacy camera. It comes with up to Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 and dual 3W speakers with HP Audio Boost. The 27-inch model comes with up to 32GB memory and 2TB storage along with its larger QHD display.
HP Chromebooks
You’ll find four new core HP Chromebooks in the line so far for 2026. This includes the Chromebook 14 and Plus 14 models, and the x360 14 and Plus x360 14 models. All four have Intel processors and are versatile options for students and mobile workers.

HP Chromebook Plus x360
The Chromebook Plus x360 has, as the name implies, a 360° hinge alongside its 14-inch 2K, 16:10 LCD. Rugged and drop-tested, it’s built to exceed military standards. The Chromebook comes loaded with Google AI tools like Help me write, Help me read, and the Google Quick Insert Key. Tap it at any time to add links, emojis, special characters, even instantly generate an image. It also comes with a one-year Google AI Pro subscription with Gemini. Equipped with an FHD camera for video meetings, it runs on the ChromeOS with an Intel Core 3 processor. Get 8GB memory and up to 512GB storage, alongside a battery that can last for up to eight hours, more than enough time for a full work or school day. It also fast charges to 50% in 45 minutes. It’s available in Glacier silver or Meteor white.

HP Chromebook x360
The step-down non-Plus Chromebook x360 has the same 2K screen, Quick Insert Key, convertible and durable design. It’s powered by an Intel N250 or N150 processor with 4GB or 8GB memory and up to 256GB storage. The battery lasts the same up to eight hours and supports fast charging. Along with Glacier silver, this version also comes in Meteor silver, Sky blue, and Powder pink.

HP 14-inch Chromebook & Chromebook Plus
With both the standard and Plus 14-inch Chromebooks, you can also get the non-flippable version that functions as a standard clamshell laptop. The basic Chromebook Plus 14-inch has an Intel Core 3 N355 processor, 8GB memory, and up to 512GB storage. The non-Plus 14-inch model has an Intel N250 or N150 processor, 4GB or 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage.
HP EliteBook X & X Flip G2

For serious professionals, there’s the HP EliteBook line. The newest model is the EliteBook X G2, which comes in numerous variations. As a Copilot+ PC, it’s lightweight and responsive with an OLED screen and long battery life. Businesses and IT professionals will love the improved serviceability, including a top-mounted keyboard that is easy to pop off and replace. Speaking of the keyboard, it has deeper, more comfortable keycaps and enlarged keys. The trackpad is also larger and offers better responsiveness.

Starting at just 999 grams, these laptop comes in Glacier Silver, Atmospheric Blue, or Eclipse Gray and work with an optional HP Nested Pen. Get it with an Intel Core Ultra 7 vPro and non-vPro processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon X2 Elite (18- or 12-core), or Snapdragon Plus processor, and AMD Ryzen AI 9, AI 7, AI 5 Pro, or AI 5 processor. Different models come with up to 64GB RAM, and up to 2TB storage. There’s a standard laptop and flip variant.
