The latest Mario Party for the Nintendo Wii U has just hit shelves, and to celebrate, Nintendo has had a few nationwide demo events for Mario Party 10!  I had the chance to attend one of the West Coast events, and check out my initial thoughts of the game, along with a look at the new amiibo!

PC Gaming is arguably the most popular it’s been in almost 2 decades. Boasting features you can’t get on consoles (including more powerful components) has there been a better time to make your next gaming choice a PC?

Taking the fight from the more familiar military field of battle and throwing it into the crime riddled streets, the newest edition to the Battlefield franchise pits the criminals against the police. With a self contained campaign, and a big multiplayer suite, Battlefield Hardline is like a selection of the best crime drama scenarios, but now on your game console as a first-person shooter. Time for some cops and robbers folks!

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is a next gen re-release of the 2011 PSP title. A fairly violent title that takes place in the Fabula Nova Crystallis subseries, Type-0 HD tweaks a couple of things from the original and sets course on a long story mode and fun side missions. Come take a look!

With Resident Evil Revelations 2, join two teams of cast members in a co-op adventure against an evil island’s worth of mutated zombie freaks. Packaged with Raid mode, put aside the four part campaign and face off against waves of mutants for a spree of unlockables and level ups. Get those neck hairs ready folks, they’ll be standing up before long, thanks to Capcom’s unique brand of survival horror.

Once in a while, Nintendo does some weird and experimental things with the Kirby Franchise.  Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a kickback of sorts to 2005’s Canvas Curse for the Nintendo DS.  With no controlling mechanics outside of momentum, drawing lines and a few taps, you’re definitely in for a challenge with this game.  Let’s take a look!

Part Demon, part angel, all hardcore monster slayer! Dante is back again, in the new Definitive Edition of series Reboot DMC: Devil May Cry. DMC: Definitive Edition brings this hack and slash, action adventure to the PS4 and the Xbox One.

Frontier Developments (of Rollercoaster Tycoon fame) is back with a new generation of coaster gaming.  Taking place 35 years in the future, Screamride takes a lighthearted (and occasionally) morbid look at humans trying to push their G Forces to the limit in Screamride. But is it the staple coaster of your amusement park, or a kiddie ride?  Let’s take a look.

At some point or another, I’m sure every one of us born before 1990 have seen at least one of the Mad Max movies (or at least seen snippets of it.)  They aren’t going to be remembered as the best movies of all time, but I’d say they’re pretty significant to the cinephiles.  September 1st, 2015 is the long awaited release date of Mad Max.  Following some platform release changes (more in the article on that,) you’ll finally get to see what Avalanche Studios has been working on the past few years.  You’re also being set up with a pretty sweet Pre-Order bonus if you get in early. 15 years have passed now since The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask shocked traditionalists and long time series fans. Following a much darker pathway than previous games, Majora’s Mask was welcomed by some and shunned by others.  Now, with the New Nintendo 3DS making its debut, Majora’s Mask is back in a revamped 3D form to help take advantage of the new controls and button spread.  I admit I wasn’t a fan 15 years ago, but I’m older and much more open to change nowadays.  My thoughts on the game are available by clicking below.
