Thinkware Dash Cams are easy to setup and use devices that deliver a wide range of benefits. Many people are aware that they could use the captured footage from a dash cam to help establish their innocence if they get into accident. However, they may not be aware of some of the other amazing benefits dash cams offer. You’ll find out for yourself how great these are if you read the information below before entering this contest. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of eight new Thinkware dash cams.
Thinkware dash cams are easy to use
I’ve sent Thinkware dash cams to various writers and there are a few commonalities across these reviews. First of all, they all found the installation and set up of the device extremely simple. For example, Dave Neufeld wrote, “Getting up and running with the Thinkware F70 Dashcam could scarcely be much easier.” In her review, Shelly Wutke said, “… it couldn’t have been easier.” Matt Paligaru explains how easy it is to install the front camera of the F200 he was sent then stated, “Installing the rear camera is just as easy.” And, after testing the F800 Brad Moon stated, “First up, installation of the dash cam was easy.”
See a pattern here? Multiple different independent reviewers, using different Thinkware dash cam models, all found that these are easy to set up. Furthermore, they all had no issues with using them as intended.
Why would you want a dash cam
Another commonality across all of these reviewers was what they saw as an important reason to get a dashcam: insurance claims. No one likes to be falsely accused of causing an accident. Dash cam footage has been used by many people to prove their innocence when the evidence was unclear or especially when the other party in the accident was not honest. Dash cam footage has also been used to help people get out of traffic tickets issued erroneously. “I didn’t go through a red light, officer; and, I can prove it!”
If you have teenagers, then a dash cam is a great motivator for them to driver responsibly: everything will be recorded and reviewed when the car is returned. Speaking of reviewing footage: you can also do this after a week of driving to help self-diagnose bad habits and become a safer driver youself.
Of course, you are likely familiar with one other benefit: capturing amazing or shocking events. I live on a tiny island, where the deer outnumber people 3 to 1, so I would likely capture a ton of footage of deer crossing the road if I had one. But YouTube has many examples of people capturing really cool footage like fireballs and meteorites—all thanks to owning a dashcam.

Good Luck
Q800PRO to capture scenery during a drive
The Q800 Pro dashcam would be perfect, I would hope it could help with any accident I may be in or witness too
Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD 1440p Dash Cam with Rear Camera would be great to take camping with us so we could see what animals are around after we go to bed in the tent.
Q800PRO dashcam with GPS Antenna. GPS is a very important feature for me, exact location with date. I just want for safety and to capture something out of the ordinary. Like a meteor captured on a dashcam in Russia.
I’d like the Q800 Pro. Hopefully it wouldn’t catch any interesting footage, for uneventful driving is safe driving. But much like a seat-belt or fire extinguisher, I’d want to have it in case I need it. I have no desire to upload a spectacular highway crash, but if one should occur, having video evidence would be helpful in figuring out cause and fault.
I would like the Thinkware X700 to capture information in case of an accident
I would choose the Q800PRO 2K Dashcam with Wi-Fi. So many amazing features but the one I like best is the Super Night Vision! I would hope to see what keeps digging holes in my yard at night!
I would love to win the Q800 pro to assist me with the police in case of an accident
I think the F800 would be great in my truck and would be good enough for my use. Thank You
The Q800, easy installation and security knowing my driving is being recorded.
For insurance and assurance. I choose the Thinkware U1000 4K UHD dash cam and 2K rear camera as two of our vehicles do not have a rear camera (and I know they reduce parking lot accidents). I want to enhance everyone’s safety and to learn what we may need to be doing differently as drivers.
This one has Wi-fi!: Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam with Wi-Fi
I am hoping to catch accidents as they happen – although I would be in too much shock!
The Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam with Wi-Fi – I hope to catch accidents, although I am not wishing for any!
I would like to win the Q800 pro. It wouyld be likely capture the most info to help in case of an accident. or witnessing an accident.
The Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam with Wi-Fi – I hope I can capture ultra speeders and report them to the OPP; I did not want to say accidents because I don’t want them to happen -so knock wood! Thank you for the chance!
The q800 pro looks like it would be great to capture a nice vacation drive!
I’d love to win the q800pro. Hoping I’d catch a picture of a grizzly bear crossing the road.
I think the Q800 pro would be best. It looks to be able to capture a lot of information that one would need in case of an accident.
I like this one – Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD 1440p Dash Cam with Rear Camera because i hope to capture any accident that I might be in, or what apears around me.
I believe it would be very helpful to collect evidences that might help in the event of a collision and the emergency situation. It is very important for safety and insurance.
Q800PRO, to capture scenery on a long drive
I think i would like the Q800Pro dashcam to collect evidence that might help me or someone else in the event of a collision or another type of emergency situation.
Probably the Thinkware Q800PRO, and I would love to capture evidence in an accident or misconduct to help myself or someone else
I would love the M1 Motorsport Full HD 1080P Dashcam with Rear Camera to mount on my ADV motorcycle to capture the remote places I explore. It would have come in handy to figure out what I did that wiped me and the bike out this weekend that left both of us with bent shifters.
Q800Pro, hopefully never need it to capture an accident, but will be glad it did.
Given the choice between one of Thinkware’s great products, I would go for the Q800PRO. With a wide viewing angle, excellent resolution, night vision, and an energy saving mode (for periods when my car stays parked for a long time), it’s the ultimate dashcam!
The q800 is my favorite. I want to capture a scenic drive through the mountains
The x700 dashcam would be awesome. I like the built-in car battery protection system so that it won’t drain my vehicle battery drain when it’s in Parking Surveillance mode
Would like to catch a texter causing an accident
Definitely the Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD 1440p Dash Cam with Rear Camera & Hardwiring Cable. We really want to capture a White Moose. My husband has been on the look out for one of these baby’s.
I prefer the Thinkware Q800PRO because of its’ high quality picture and night vision mode which has better odds of capturing a hit and run licence plate.
The x700 dashcam would be my 1st choice with the built-in car battery protection system which prevents complete vehicle battery drain when the dash cam is recording in Parking Surveillance mode
Wow!
The F800 can’t go wrong with night vision. Easy install options and wifi with your phone
Gotta say …. I’m likin’ the F800 (and the “Pro” version too). Cosmetically, I prefer their “placement” features (not stuck on the windshield) and technically, I’m really drawn to their enhanced night vision features.
is very serious matter for safety and insurance
I like the Thinkware X700 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam with 2.7″ LCD Touchscreen. Would be great to capture dangerous drivers!
They all look great but the F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi is my favourite. I would hope to capture evidence with it in case I got into an accident or was accused of a traffic violation.
I don’t know anything about these cameras, but going by the other comments and since if winning it would go to my husband because he is always on the road I’d choose the Q800Pro dash cam. I want him to be safe and secure.
I love the F800 dash and rear view camera It has everything that would help when in need.
The Q800 Pro dashcam would be my choice. With wide angle viewing and 2K resolution and crystal clear image even in low light conditions. Alerts for departure and collision probabilities with so much more. This is the Bomb!
F900 dash cam would be fun to have and I would be able to capture any and all wildlife that crosses the road when I am out driving. It would be cool to see them with the night vision setting and who knows what else I may capture on film.
F800 would most definitely be my pick!I would like it to capture an animal or a person trying break in to our car for our personal safety & have security and proof of who possibly did it..Thank you for the chance Best Buy..
Q800 Pro would be my choice.
The Q800 Pro would be my choice and of course for safety and protection.
I would love the Q800Pro as an extra layer of insurance, in addition to maybe capturing a few (pleasant) surprises. Wide viewing angles, super night vision and built-in wifi are the features I’m looking for. And having an app is a must as I don’t have a computer.
I like he Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi. I really like the night vision feature.
The Q800pro – definitely need high quality resolution and ease of use.
The Q800Pro would be my choice for the rear camera, and expanded features.
My favourite is the Thinkware FA200 Full HD WiFi Dash Cam. I would like to capture an accident happening in front of me .
