Thinkware Dash Cams are easy to setup and use devices that deliver a wide range of benefits. Many people are aware that they could use the captured footage from a dash cam to help establish their innocence if they get into accident. However, they may not be aware of some of the other amazing benefits dash cams offer. You’ll find out for yourself how great these are if you read the information below before entering this contest. And if you enter this contest, you might win one of eight new Thinkware dash cams.

Thinkware dash cams are easy to use

I’ve sent Thinkware dash cams to various writers and there are a few commonalities across these reviews. First of all, they all found the installation and set up of the device extremely simple. For example, Dave Neufeld wrote, “Getting up and running with the Thinkware F70 Dashcam could scarcely be much easier.” In her review, Shelly Wutke said, “… it couldn’t have been easier.” Matt Paligaru explains how easy it is to install the front camera of the F200 he was sent then stated, “Installing the rear camera is just as easy.” And, after testing the F800 Brad Moon stated, “First up, installation of the dash cam was easy.”

See a pattern here? Multiple different independent reviewers, using different Thinkware dash cam models, all found that these are easy to set up. Furthermore, they all had no issues with using them as intended.

Why would you want a dash cam

Another commonality across all of these reviewers was what they saw as an important reason to get a dashcam: insurance claims. No one likes to be falsely accused of causing an accident. Dash cam footage has been used by many people to prove their innocence when the evidence was unclear or especially when the other party in the accident was not honest. Dash cam footage has also been used to help people get out of traffic tickets issued erroneously. “I didn’t go through a red light, officer; and, I can prove it!”

If you have teenagers, then a dash cam is a great motivator for them to driver responsibly: everything will be recorded and reviewed when the car is returned. Speaking of reviewing footage: you can also do this after a week of driving to help self-diagnose bad habits and become a safer driver youself.

Of course, you are likely familiar with one other benefit: capturing amazing or shocking events. I live on a tiny island, where the deer outnumber people 3 to 1, so I would likely capture a ton of footage of deer crossing the road if I had one. But YouTube has many examples of people capturing really cool footage like fireballs and meteorites—all thanks to owning a dashcam.

  1. The F800 looks like my favourite. I would put it in my car and hope i didn’t record any silly drivers.

  2. I will need 2 Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi – I like the idea that settings can be controlled by a smartphone with similar features clarity in the night vision and streaming. Sometimes, I like a vision around my home and inside my home.

  3. I would like the F70 dash cam. It may not have all of the bells and whistles that the higher models have, but it gets great reviews on your website and I like that it’s more compact. Thanks for the contest!

  4. Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi I love that it has the night vision. To be able to capture an accident is the dusk or night is invaluable. Also, that is when the animals come out at night. I hit a deer once and when I stopped it had run away. I always wondered what it’s actual size was and if it stumbled away.

  5. I like the Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision and Wi-Fi! It would be so amazing to have in my car 🙂

  6. The Q800PRO is super sweet but F800 is great as they are both great video quality and have extras like collision avoidance. I would capture scenic road trips in addition to everyday driving.

  7. Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi and I hope it captures clear pictures at night too.

  8. The Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD with its wide view lens, go low light for better night vision and the clear image. The energy saving feature is nice too.

  9. The Thinkware X700 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam & Rear Camera is my favourite. I would like to capture the movement between lanes in front and behind me.

  10. Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi
I think this specific model is cool cause it will cover footage at night and my night vision is not the greatest.

  11. Thinkware F800 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam and Rear Camera with WI-FI, GPS and the night vision would surely be pretty awesome to have, imagine an accident and they think its me but with the camera i can prove otherwise !!!…

  12. The Thinkware U1000 I definitely my fav but honestly would be thrilled with any of them. I would use it for my new youtube channel where I review new fast food and restaurant menu items, through the drive through and then review the new food!

    Thank you!

  13. The Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi would be great for capturing footage of animals at night!

  14. The Q800Pro would be great to win, I would hope to capture a meteor burning up and be able to find it with the image and GPS.

  15. Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam with Super Night Vision & WiFi
I think this specific model is cool cause it will cover footage at night.
I would love to capture dangerous driving that way their is recorded footage and I can hopefully help in keeping the road more safe !

  16. My favourite is the Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD 1440p Dash Cam with Rear Camera & Hardwiring Cable. I’d use it to capture footage of road accidents!

  17. The X700 but help me a lot to protect myself from wrong insurance claims. Plus, there is always a chance to capture something cool on camera.

  18. The Thinkware F800 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam and Rear Camera with WI-FI, GPS and the night vision would be wonderful to have, especially if there’s an accident and it would help to prove who is at fault.(especially if it isn’t me)

  19. The Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD with its wide view lens, go low light for better night vision and the clear image and energy saving feature would make this camera the ideal one for my vehicle.

  21. I would choose the Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam. This could be useful if I was involved in an accident with no impartial witnesses.

  22. I think the F800 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam and Rear Camera with WI-FI and GPS would fit me perfectly and the night vision component would make it great for capturing nightlife while travelling on highways and especially country roads in my area.

  23. My favorite is the Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD 1440p Dash Cam with Rear Camera (although they all look great!). I recently witnessed a road-rage incident and, if it had escalated, it would have been good to have a record of events. I also think a dash cam could be a great help if you are ever in an accident that isn’t your fault….proof for ICBC who tends to blame both parties, even if one is clearly at fault.

  24. The Thinkware F800 would be my favourite, and I would use it for my daily commute to work!

  25. I’m blessed that Thinkware F800 1080p Dashcam not only provides wifi , but night vision as well. With this camera,I am to record how many bad drivers out there, cause there’s a lot here, in Toronto.

  26. F800, since I purchased my first car nearly two years ago (August 4, 2018), and I haven’t had the chance getting around to buying my first dash cam yet. It will help me stay safe in case of any unfortunate situation, and also capture my adventures throughout Ontario!

  27. Thinkware Q800PRO 2K QHD 1440p Dash Cam with Rear Camera & Hardwiring Cable – Only at Best Buy. This is the best.
I want to capture my everyday adventure with this device.

  28. Thinkware Q800PRO 2K Dashcam with Wi-Fi. I would love to capture night time wildlife. 🙂

  29. The Thinkware X700 Full HD 1080p Dash Cam & Rear Camera is my favourite. I would like to capture reckless drivers.

  30. The Q800Pro and I’ve been wanting one forever since you just never know when you will need video evidence since there are so many distracted drivers on the road today!
