If you enjoy the convenience of app based control over your various tech devices, you’ll be happy to know that the RSC Tama features Wi-Fi live view and replay to give you greater control over your dashcam.
Simply download the RSC Viewer App to your smart phone or tablet (available from both Apple’s App Store and through Google Play), configure your device, and you’ll be able to take total control of your camera.
If an incident occurs within sight of your Tama, you’ll be able to quickly and easily access, download, replay, or delete any of the captured footage. And there’s no need to use a computer—just open the smartphone app and see what you’ve recorded.
EASE OF USE WITH THE BLUETOOTH REMOTE-CONTROL BUTTON
To quickly protect a video file at the mere touch of a button, the Tama Dashcam provides a special Bluetooth remote-control button. This is both quick and convenient, and it allows you to focus the bulk of your attention elsewhere when an incident occurs.
Just place the remote-control button some place convenient, and you’ll be able to quickly protect the video clip that’s currently recording simply by pressing the button. This will instantaneously save the video clip so you’ll have easy access to it later on.
There’s no faster way to lock in critical footage, and no other system is as quick or easy to use; other methods take extra time and care to execute. You can even configure the camera to take quick snapshots if necessary.
THE RSC TAMA EVEN PROVIDES PARKING SURVEILLANCE
For those that are extra security conscious, the RSC Tama Dashcam has a special parking surveillance mode to help protect your resting vehicle by capturing recordings of everything that takes place while your car is parked. This feature helps to protect against both theft and damage, as well as bearing witness to any event that occurs.

Note that for this feature to work, the device requires hardwiring (or at least access to a continual power source). An optional Hardwire Kit / constant power source is available for this purpose, though a firmware update to the device may initially be required.
