Next level VR hardware

The Oculus Quest 2 offers the latest in VR technology and features an enormous amount of built-in computing power. This includes a lightning fast processor, 3D cinematic sound through its multidirectional speakers, and a premium display with amazing resolution. In fact, the Quest 2 has 50% more pixels than the original Oculus Quest, so you’ll experience every adventure in stunning detail and crystal clarity.

But the Oculus Quest 2 isn’t merely powerful. It’s also lightweight and always incredibly comfortable to wear. And, it uses Bluetooth technology to communicate between the headset and the touch controllers. In fact, the Quest 2’s controllers have been newly redesigned for a greater level of control. You’ll blast, slash, and groove your way through incredible worlds and unparalleled adventures with their enhanced ergonomic design, and your every movement will be directly, instantly, and intuitively transported into the realm of virtual reality.

All-in-one gaming

With the Oculus Quest 2, you’ll also enjoy a vast and ever expanding library of unique games and experiences. And, since the Quest 2 is PC VR compatible, you’ll be able to access great Oculus Rift titles as well. Simply connect your Quest 2 via an Oculus Link cable to a compatible gaming PC. You’ll need to acquire a Link cable separately and ensure that your computer meets the Oculus compatibility requirements first, but even the enhanced features of the Oculus Quest 2 are easy to set up and use.

Of course, no PC or gaming console of any kind is required to use the Quest 2. All you really need is the device itself, a Facebook account, wireless Internet access, and the free to download smart phone app—that’s it! The Oculus Quest 2 makes experiencing virtual reality a pleasure. It simply couldn’t be easier to step into a virtual world!

Oculus is truly immersive entertainment

The Oculus Quest 2 gives you unprecedented access to the coolest live events. You’ll have the best seat in the house to enjoy live concerts, the latest groundbreaking films, and the most exclusive experiences. You can even get together with friends and take part in multiplayer competitions when you meet up with them in an interactive, virtual world.

And if you wish to briefly step out of the virtual world without breaking free from the experience, the Quest 2 offers a unique feature called headset casting that allows you to display everything you can see in the headset directly to either the Oculus app on your phone or a compatible TV screen. Imagine being able to share a virtual experience with family or friends that don’t have a headset of their own but are in the same room as you. Well, now you can with the amazing new Oculus Quest 2!

    • Hi Tricia,

No, the Oculus Quest 2 is not compatible with Xbox One. It works completely on its own (without the need to be hooked up to any other device) or with a PC when connected via Oculus Link (sold separately). However, it is not supported by any dedicated gaming consoles such as Xbox or PlayStation.

I’m actually testing out the Oculus Quest 2 right now, and very soon you’ll be able to read and watch my review on the Best Buy Blog with even more details and impressions.
