When you want to experience the world, immerse yourself in a multi-player game, or hang out and watch a movie with friends who live hours away, all you need is Oculus Go. An all-new standalone virtual reality headset, Oculus Go is the easiest way for people to enjoy the world of VR.
Oculus Go doesn’t require a phone, PC, or cable to work. All you need to do is pick it up, put it on, and you have the freedom to enjoy over 1000+ apps, movies, games and experiences. With crystal-clear 3D optics, immersive audio built into the headset, and an easy-to-use wireless controller, there’s a VR experience for everyone in the family.
Stand alone Oculus Go lets you enjoy VR without cords and cables
When you’re stepping into a virtual world, you want the freedom to move and explore. Because some VR headsets require you to be attached to a gaming console, PC, or your phone, it can be hard to really immerse yourself in that experience. Because Oculus Go doesn’t require any extra device or cable to work, VR is now a lot more fun and accessible than ever before.
Oculus Go belongs to a new category of standalone VR headset. Made from breathable fabrics and with soft elastic straps, Oculus Go is comfortable and fully adjustable. If you have glasses you can use the included glasses spacer, and you can even choose additional accessories like prescription lenses or additional facial interfaces for the perfect fit.
Immerse yourself in VR, wherever you are, with Oculus Go
When you step into a virtual world, you want that world to be crystal-clear and fully immersive. With Oculus Go you can bring any virtual world to life right on the high-resolution fast-switch screen. It has 2560 x 1440 WQHD resolution, and to limit the screen door effect, the refresh rate varies between 60Hz or 72Hz depending on the game or experience.
Oculus Go also uses an orientation only system. It supports 3 degrees of freedom head tracking and lets move freely by rotating your head and hand around in the VR world. You can explore your location or interact with friends, but you won’t need to move your body through the space. That gives you the freedom to enjoy VR anywhere you are, without needing a large area to roam around in.
Integrated spatial audio transports you into every experience
Whether you’re playing a virtual game, watching a movie, or exploring a theme park that’s halfway around the world, you won’t be able to really immerse yourself in the virtual world unless your audio can stand up to experience. With Oculus Go you have speakers built right into the headset, transporting you straight into VR without outside interference and making the headset easy to share. If you’d like to listen privately, just plug into the 3.5mm headphone jack.
Oculus Go comes with a wireless controller that allows you to tap into over 1000+ apps, movies, games, and experiences. You can play board games like Settlers of Catan with friends, enjoy live events or concerts with friends in Oculus Venues or private Oculus Rooms, or kick back with a giant TV screen and binge on Netflix with the soon-to-be launched Oculus TV.
