Tineco A10 Hero and Tineco A11 Hero

Cordless stick vacuums are extremely portable, are always ready to clean because they have long battery life and dock on the charger, and can clean from floors to rafters without running out of space in the bin or battery. You don’t have to break the bank to get one either. I tested out two Tineco stick vacuums, the Tineco A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum and the Tineco A11 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum, and after using them for a few weeks I’m really impressed with the power, suction, and features on these budget-friendly cordless stick vacuums.

Here’s my look at the Tineco A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum and the Tineco A11 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum.

Testing the Tineco A10 Hero and A11 Hero cordless stick vacuums

Tineco A11 Hero

While the Tineco A10 Hero and A11 Hero look very similar, they have a few important differences. Both are lightweight, even with the stick and power brush attached, so I could easily lift the vacuum up to capture a dust bunny in my window.

Both vacuums have pretty powerful suction too, so much so that I was surprised at what they managed to pick up. The dust bins are also a good size for cleaning up the main floor of my home, and when using either vacuum I didn’t have to empty it out until I was finished cleaning.

Quiet, powerful motor

The Tineco A10 Hero has a 350W brushless motor with 105W suction in Max mode and the Tineco A11 has a 450W brushless motor with 120W suction in Max mode. They both run very quietly, and while you can’t tell the immediate difference in power just by pulling the trigger, I did find the A11 picked up a bit more on the floor than the A10.

I like the variable speeds on the Tineco A11. It’s easy to just tap the button to switch between them, and I used Max power for the most part. Max power is also available on the Tineco A10 and I spent most of my time cleaning in that mode.

High torque power brush

Tineco high torque power head

Both the Tineco A10 Hero and A11 Hero are packaged with a high torque power brush. The power brush is fairly wide and has a built-in LED light. The light is a nice touch as it lights up the area of floor right in front of you, and having it made sure I didn’t miss anything when I was vacuuming.

With the power brush on I was able to transition from low pile carpet to hardwood floor, picking up everything along the way. It connected well with the high pile carpet I have in the living room, and given the clear dust bin I could easily see what it was picking up.

While there are other attachments that come with the Tineco A10 Hero and A11 Hero cordless stick vacuums, the power brush will be the one you use the most.

Continuous power mode switch lock

Tineco continuous power switch

By far my favourite feature on both of these cordless stick vacuums is the continuous power mode. In other vacuums you pull a trigger and when you let go, the vacuum stops. With the Tineco A10 and Tineco A11 you can set a switch lock, much like the lock at the gas station that keeps pumping your gas, and it will keep working without you having to hold it.

It’s a great feature because it doesn’t force your finger to hold on while you’re cleaning.

4-stage full sealed filtration system

If you have allergies or someone in your family has allergies, vacuuming can really bother you. My husband is allergic to dust and he used to have sneezing fits when I used our standard upright vacuum. He had no issue with either of the Tineco cordless stick vacuums, and that’s probably due to the 4 stage full sealed filtration system. It will capture 99.99% of particles ejected while cleaning, and expel only clean, fresh air.

The dust bin is roomy enough to store a ton of debris, and I never had to empty it more than once during cleaning.

Always on battery and charging mount

Both the Tineco A10 and Tineco A11 have detachable lithium-ion batteries and wall mounts that holds the battery so you can just pop the vacuum on it and it will charge. The wall mount holds all of your accessories too.

On the side of the battery is a LED light that indicates how much charge you have left, and the charge doesn’t decrease just because you aren’t plugged in. That means the vacuum is always on when you need it. I’m a fan of wall-mounted vacuums because you have a place to store them, and it’s even better when that vacuum has a plug to charge the battery while it’s mounted.

As for running times, I found both the Tineco A10 Hero and the Tineco A11 Hero would run for a good period of time before the battery ran out. The Tineco A10 is stated to have a max run time of 25 minutes, with 10 minutes in Max mode. I found with the Continuous switch lock-on and the Max Button tapped it would run steadily for about 8 minutes.

The Tineco A11 has a max 40 minute run time, but that depends on whether or not you’re using the variable speeds and continuous power. I managed to get about 28 minutes, switching between modes. That was more than enough to clean my floors.

Should you choose the Tineco A10 Hero or Tineco A11 Hero cordless stick vacuum?

Tineco A11 Cordless Stick Vaccuum review

Tineco cordless stick vacuums are budget-friendly and have a lot more power than I expected. I was impressed with the suction and the multi-use powerhead, and I really like how the powerhead has lights so you can see what you’re cleaning. I thought the powerhead was so versatile I didn’t really use any of the other accessories, but it’s nice they are there if you need them.

Both vacuums are light enough you can easily lift them to clean cobwebs in your rafters or windows. If I had to choose between the Tineco A10 or the Tineco A11, I would probably choose the A11 for that increase in suction, power, and longer battery life. It makes it easy to just slide the vacuum into place and have it charge while storing it.

  1. I would choose the Tineco A11 Hero because it is more powerful and has a longer battery charge running time

  2. I really enjoyed and appreciated your honest, detailed review(s) of Tineco’s® A10 and A11 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuums, Shelly! How ironic that I would stumble upon the review(s) today, having just moved into a new, small apartment, with wall-to-wall flooring!

Since moving-in two weeks ago: I’ve been sweeping, Swiffering, and mopping on a near-daily basis. I have a lot of (blonde) hair and a cat. Combined with daily, average dust and crumbs, I NEED to keep up with my clean habits! Otherwise, I’d slowly become certifiable when feeling the grime on my bare feet!

My place is small, newly renovated, fresh, contemporary, and has little storage. My upright vacuum is unnecessary and cumbersome to store. Really, it’s not that great for bare floors!

A small, powerful, sleek, and effective Tineco® Hero A11 would DEFINITELY make life in my new abode easier (and less wasteful, reducing the need to use disposable Swiffer cloths).

    Cheers via Smithers, BC!
