I once thought that making espresso at home was too complicated to get right. I love coffee when it’s done by a trained barista, and I know I am not a trained barista! I bought a very cheap espresso machine many years back and it just frustrated me. My attempts never hit the mark, never produced consistent results, and didn’t taste very good. Many of you reading this can likely relate to this experience.

Breville heard us! No need to experiment. No need to pretend you’re a barista-in-training while you throw away one bad cup of coffee after another. You must fill the water tank with water. That’s easy. You must add good coffee beans to the hopper. That too is easy.     When you just place powder in a cup and add hot water……………Well, that will pass for a cup of coffee…………..but freshly brewed coffee is a totally different ball game!

It would be fun to learn how to do that kind of thing for people’s coffee.

  21. Breville Barista Express Impress – while I have never actually have used this particular model, I know Breville to be a quality brand. The design of this unit, however, does seem very ergonomic, easy to use/clean, and versatile. It has numerous convenience and practical features that are too numerous to list here. The best bet – try it for yourself.

    • BTW: my wife loves cofffee more that I do. I would prepare her a simple Frangelico-touched cappuccino with orange-infused steamed milk and froth.
