There are few homes in Canada that do not have an appliance from KitchenAid. Perhaps it’s a blender or a hand mixer. Perhaps you recently discovered the versatility of the new KitchenAid cordless appliances. We wrote about these on the blog about a month ago. Read on to learn more about these appliances and to find out how you can enter for a chance to win one.

KitchenAid has the appliances we use every day

What is your go-to small appliance? For me it’s the coffee maker. I use it everyday. But I also bake regularly; for that, I prefer the hand mixer over my stand mixer or hand blender. Perhaps it’s just habit, but I like to use the hand mixer for most mixing tasks. My only problem with it is actually one that KitchenAid just solved: the cord sometimes gets twisted or is just in the way.

Shelly just reviewed several new KitchenAid appliance including a few KitchenAid cordless appliances. She was very impressed with the freedom in the kitchen that these allow. I can imagine making fewer messes by carrying the mixer straight to the sink and removing the beaters there, rather than over the counter.

KitchenAid appliances just become a part of a recipe

My wife does this all the time. She’ll be making one of her favourite recipes and she’ll ask me to “get the KitchenAid” out of the cupboard. “Which one?” I respond and she looks at me like I’m on another planet and should just know which appliance goes with this recipe. Whether it’s a food chopper, a blender or whatever, these appliances become a necessary component of the cooking process. Are there any recipes that “require” a very specific appliance that you can’t do without?

We sent out some great new KitchenAid appliances for reviews and now that those appliances have returned to my office, we want to give them away in this contest. Perhaps one of these will become part of your daily cooking routine.

How to enter

Entering this contest is easy and you can enter once here below this article and once below the article announcing these four appliances. In a comment, tell us what is your favourite KitchenAid appliance and is there a favourite recipe you make with that appliance.

  1. The Kitchenaid cordless hand blender sounds good to me. I love to make soup especially this time of the year.

  2. I use all parts of my foods, so love making “freezer soups” and, with the help of the KitchenAid Cordless Variable Speed Immersion Blender, a puree option is so easy!

  3. I like the The KitchenAid K400 Blender which is so versatile. I would use it to prep veggies for Vegetable soup now that the weather is getting colder.

  4. I would love the KitchenAid Cordless Hand Blender. I wish to make Keilbassa cabbage soup that requires blending the soup until it is smooth. This is where the hand blender shines.

  5. My favourite KitchenAid appliance is my blender. I use it every morning for my daily smoothie which I make with various fruits, vegetables and Greek yogurt. It really helps me start my day really quickly :).

  6. we already use the KitchenAid food chopper to help us make our own potato pancakes instead of grating by hand so we would love to have the Blender with the personal blending jar to help make smoothies that everyone wants daily

  7. The stand blender is one of my favourite KitchenAid appliances, especially since we’re including more fruits and veggies in our diets. Great for making healthier smoothies and delicious soups!!

  8. My favourite is the blender. I make a simple pesto with it. Blend basil, olive oil, walnuts, and then add parmesan cheese and enjoy.

  9. I love my KitchenAid hand mixer – I chose it over a big, bulky, countertop mixer and love it. I use it to make pound cake, the family favourite. I would love to win the stand blender for morning smoothies since our old blender is about 30 years old now.

  10. As the sole cook in my family, I would use the food chopper to prepare all our meals. It would be very helpful in preparing fresh healthy food to my four children.

  11. I went to the “Go to Offer” and nothing came up. Please put my name in for an entry to win the Kitchen Aid appliances.

    Thank you

  12. The Kitchenaid hand blender would be my choice. I would use it it to make my family gluten-free chocolate cakes, with chocolate icing. With extra chocolate.
