Have you often wished that your oven temperature could be controlled through an app just like the temperature in your home? With everything going smart these days, it’s no surprise that Breville has joined in with their cooking appliances. The Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro is a high-end 2-in-1 air fryer and oven that can make cooking for family, friends, and any holiday gatherings easier and hassle-free. Keep reading to find out some of its cool features and how you can enter for a chance to win it for your kitchen.
Cook confidently with Autopilot technology
Baking is exciting. I always anticipate the moment I get to open the oven door and look at how my creation turned out. But sometimes the dismay at discovering that your pastry or chicken is unevenly cooked on the inside is … crushing. The Joule makes it easy to avoid that awful feeling with its Autopilot feature.
Autopilot is available through the Joule: Sous Vide by ChefSteps app, which you can connect to the Joule via Wi-Fi. From steak to flan to corn, and much more, the app itself contains video recipes, step-by-step instructions, and tips for you to start cooking your dish of choice. It’s fantastic for amateur cooks because the recipes also include presets or “flight plans” that leave the little details to the smart oven instead of leaving them up to you. For example, if a recipe requires different levels or types of heat, Autopilot will automatically increase or decrease the temperature in the Joule. That means, you won’t have to remember to do it manually. Need to broil your veggies in the oven for the last five minutes of baking? There’s now an app for that.
How does the Joule manage to do all this you ask? The Joule uses a special temperature controller and smart algorithms that work together to ensure that the six quartz heating elements it houses are always delivering precisely measured heat that smoothly transitions to different temperatures at the right time. The technology does all this to ensure that your food is cooked as evenly as possible.
