Autopilot is available through the Joule: Sous Vide by ChefSteps app, which you can connect to the Joule via Wi-Fi. From steak to flan to corn, and much more, the app itself contains video recipes, step-by-step instructions, and tips for you to start cooking your dish of choice. It’s fantastic for amateur cooks because the recipes also include presets or “flight plans” that leave the little details to the smart oven instead of leaving them up to you. For example, if a recipe requires different levels or types of heat, Autopilot will automatically increase or decrease the temperature in the Joule. That means, you won’t have to remember to do it manually. Need to broil your veggies in the oven for the last five minutes of baking? There’s now an app for that.

I don’t normally use presets, but I think I’d give dehydrate a whirl. I like homemade dehydrated apples.
I’d try something for company, like little sausage rolls or meat filled buns.
The Bake feature would allow me to try making certain cheesecakes and muffins.
Using the preset pizza, I would make pizzas all of the time.
I would make Portuguese Tarts, a family favourite in the Breville’s Joule Oven Air Fryer Pro.
I would love to try to make and bake cheese croissants! I would find the air fryer option most helpful, however, in day-to-day cooking.
