When my grandmother work cook for the family whether it be meals or deserters.
We took the traditions, and recipes for granted.
We have a Kitchen Aid mixer that just turned 30 years old.
It gets used a lot for Christmas baking but also throughout the year.
It might be getting close to the end of it’s life, so this replacement unit would be great!
The pasta attachment would get used alot.
The pasta attachment would be GREAT! I’ve always wanted one to make some homemade pasta
The pasta attachment would be great because we love pasta.
I love getting together with all the family every year making lots of food, turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cabbage rolls, homemade perogies, vegs, dip, pickles, cheese, all kinds of snacks and deserts. And my wife could use a pasta attachment.
I would love the pasta attachment. My mom would always make snowballs every Christmas and working and rolling out the dough is a lot of work.

Snow outside, warmth inside. Generations gather, spices dance. Grandma’s recipes, secrets in each dish. Laughter and love bake into every bite—a delicious dance of family traditions.
the family making xmas themed gingerbread cookies such as trees, snowmen, bells, then delivering them together to extended family and beloved friends
Memories of Christmas baking and cooking up a storm with my mother are forever cherished by me. The smells in our home were incredible, from traditional Scottish Shortbread, baking sausage rolls to making a ‘clootie’ dumpling for New Year’s Eve. My father would find all the Christmas Carol Sheets of Music so that we could have a grand old sing song.
Our family would make great use of the pasta attachments (my arms are not as strong as they used to be so this would make creating homemade pasta dishes so much easier!).
Hi,
I’ve complete all steps including #3.
Posted a photo of my Perogies on Twitter / X @JASZY101
* NOTE: Headed out to Best Buy tomorrow to take a photo of your KitchenAid display. This will give me #4 Bonus Entry.
Wishing you lots of health and happiness during the holidays and in 2024. Thanks for the opportunity!
HOLIDAY MEMORIES
*******************************
The years have come and gone
since Santa stood on a snowy lawn.
He told us he came from many miles,
Mom always laughed and was full of smiles.
Music could be heard throughout the house,
there were even headsets for the mouse.
We made Babkas, Latkes, and Perogies too,
sometimes the dough would come out like glue.
Bursts of flour shone through the kitchen sun,
especially when we baked the perfect Cinnamon Bun.
There were cookies, cakes and so much more,
we kept running to get ingredients from the store.
Now our family recipes sit on a shelf,
with a sad, lonely and longing elf.
I decided to pull out the culinary book,
wipe my tears and begin to cook.
All of a sudden the Christmas tree started to glow,
Then, I heard the words … Ho, Ho, Ho!
*******************************
By the way, I shared a batch of Perogies that I made especially for the Best Buy team on Twitter / X @JASZY10. Please check them out.
Wishing you all the best. May this holiday bring you much joy and happiness. Thanks for the opportunity!
@JASZY101

Christmas cookies, all the family chips in.
I remember my mother making fruit cake every year. I think I’m one of the few people who actually likes it – but then, NOTHING compares to the real thing; especially if it’s made right.
As for this beast of a kitchen tool – boy, would I ever have fun making all sorts of fresh pastas with it (hips be damned, LOL) Just have to find a “place of honour” in my kitchen for it now!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody!
A holiday tradition is homemade lasagna with homemade pasta
A holiday tradition is eggnog pancakes!
It would be nice to try the pasta attachment, they say there’s nothing like making your own fresh pasta, unlike the dry stuff you get from the grocery store. Is there a contest to go to Italy and try it out in person??
Christmas morning german stollen bread in the oven is a wonderful Christmas tradition
I always made a gingerbread house with my mother. We mage it from scratch, and ate in on New year’s Day.It was great fun.I would enjoy the pasta attachment to learn a new skill.
A new tradition is making holiday treats like cookies with the kids
As a child I remember my mother a Christmas pudding and on the day we found rubber bands mixed into it.
Making gingerbread men cookies with my family.
the smell of apple baking or stewing; reminds me of the holiday season.
My grandma always baked pies and when you visited her she would offer some. If you only ate one slice she would ask why you weren’t hungry and if her pie tasted bad. Haha!
This year i made this cake I hadnt made in years and i cant believed how many people on my feeds were like oh thats my fav, and i never knew and now im bring it back for charismas
As a child I remember baking with my mother and grandmother (we all had aprons on) for Christmas. Today I bake with my kids and grand kids for the holidays.
A few years back I hosted my friends for a Christmas dinner and surprised them by having pasta dough ready for them to roll into whatever noodle they wanted. We had so much fun making our noodles, it’s a cherished memory we all look back on 🙂
I remember my father making chocolate cake for Christmas eve
All throughout my childhood my best memory is my mom making her Christmas Eve Creme Caramel … it was the best way to end off a great meal with the family
When my teenager was little, my mom and him decided to bake cookies. She had received her kitchen aid mixer for Christmas. Well, she put the flour in and my son turned it on high speed. It was a moment, none of us will forget. Flour everywhere, followed by alot of laughter
Family traditions – baking gingerbread and going wild with decorations on them!
We have little elf visitors during the season and they often bring home made treats with them. It’s like an advent calendar but with home made treats!
I remember clearly watching my Mom mix the dried fruit with flour the night before she was going to bake it and because we didn’t really have much money for candy, this seemed like the next best thing to me! How I wish my Mom could have had the luxury of the conveniences we enjoy today!
Every Christmas my mom makes tins of assorted treats for all the kids & grandkids. It always contains tons of family favourite recipes, like giant soft molasses cookies.
I love making gingerbread men and lots of other cookies with my granddaughters and a pasta attachment would be awesome.
I love watching my wife baking Christmas traditional cookies that I hope will be passed down through generations. Hope to have a pasta attachment
Then Pasta attachment would be wonderful as we all love pasta and this would be so fresh !!
The Kitchen Aid Fresh Prep Slicer/Shredder Attachment would be super useful for my family. It would just make cutting all the veggies we need for our dishes soooo much easier!
Entered my culinary creation on my Instagram account under my user name fancynancylafrancey.
Thanks!
Every Christmas we have a cookie decorating contest.
My Mom always makes Christmas cookies with the kids.
The pasta attachment would be great for my family! We could learn a new skill.
Every Christmas we make and decorate gingerbread houses, the kitchenaid mixer would be perfect to make that stiff royal icing. We invite friends over and have a huge decorating party.
I made several loaves of homemade bread to dry out and make my own stuffing for Christmas
Family traditions, this year as I made our Chirstmas cake I reflected on how some things don’t change. I used my Grandmothers receipe again, (sometimes with a bit of dif fruit) and made it in my mother’s fruit cake pans.
