  1. I have beautiful memories of baking Christmas goodies with my youngest daughter. She wanted to help from a very young age. Our favourite cookies are lemon shortbread, cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. Her favourite holiday book was Pigs at Christmas, so we started making Christmas Pigs with the dough. We still make them, along with the traditional bells, holly, etc. The Christmas Pigs are most special though.

  2. From the beginning of my Christmas memories, i remember my mom making caramel popcorn at the beginning of December. We weren’t allowed to touch it until Christmas…and then it was game on. This tradition stopped recently so I guess I should start it up at home with my kids.

  3. We are starting food traditions now that we have a family and will choose favourite foods from each of our families to incorporate into our Holiday meal. My son is now old enough to love stirring and adding spices to food so he will be soon be the young chef of the family to add to our traditions.

  4. I would love the pasta making attachment but currently I use the juicer/strainer the most. It made my gardening season so much brighter!!

  5. Every December, my wife and I continue the family tradition of making Linsetorte cakes as gifts for our friends. It is made with grinding walnuts to a fine grade, blending the walnuts with other baking ingredients to make the crust. A thin layer of raspberry jam tops the crust and finally strips of rolled-out dough are draped over in a criss-cross pattern. It takes quite a bit of time and muscle to get the ingredients prepped. The roller attachment would be ideal to create the lattice dough and the stand mixer would do the hard mixing part of creating the dough.

  6. It’s so awesome hearing my girls come home after baking with their grandmother over the gingerbread men, and the other cookies that they made. A pasta attached would be so great for her

  7. I could use the pasta attachment, because my husband and I love to make our own pasta noodles for some of our great recipes for Christmas.

  8. The pasta roller attachment would be great to eliminate the need in using the rolling pin and pastry board, when making cookies, pasta noodles for Christmas

  9. I love to make homemade noodles with my wife, and a pasta attachment would help us very much, we have an old stand pasta maker which you turn with your hand and it gets pretty tired after awhile.

  12. My grandmother would prepare for days for the family gathering on Christmas. Me, sis and my mother would help her make homemade cabbage rolls, perogies and blueberry and apple pies. They have since passed on and now I share the same tradition with my daughter and sister and share the memories and stories together. Thanks for the chance Best Buy. This Kitchen Aid would be a blessing to have and a great help.

  13. On a snowy December night, three generations of the Smith family gathered to bake Grandma’s famous gingerbread cookies. Laughter filled the kitchen as they rolled out dough, cut festive shapes, and decorated the golden-brown treats. Amid twinkling lights and falling snowflakes, the family shared stories, creating a magical atmosphere. The tradition wasn’t just about cookies; it was about love, togetherness, and creating lasting memories. As they enjoyed their edible creations, the Smiths embraced the true spirit of the season – a time for family and joy.
