Get inspired to create amazing food with a new Breville appliance

Canadians have been rediscovering their kitchen lately. This has been more challenging for some people. Even for me, someone who absolutely loves cooking and creating and experimenting with food, there are days when I don’t feel it.

A new appliance always helps, but one of the new Breville microwaves would totally solve that problem. We recently had two of their newest models reviewed. You should read the reviews of those machines: you’ll be astounded by the variety for foods you can make.

We’ve all used microwave ovens and I think my experience on my 5 year old machine is probably quite typical. You put something in, turn it on, the timer rings, you take it out, stir, put it back in and repeat, until it finally it’s so hot you burn your mouth (and somehow there is still that one section that is ice cold!).

For each entry, tell us one food item or recipe that you would make in one of these Breville ovens if you win. You must specify which oven you are referring to in your comment. For example, a valid entry might be: if I win the Breville 3 in 1 oven I will make a decadent chocolate cake.

Also each entry must be unique: if you enter here and on one of the review article, you must specify a different food item.

  5. Being a single person this oven sounds like the perfect solution to my cooking problems. Now I won’t have to heat up the big oven to cook a single meals of chicken or pork or beef. And being health conscious it would be nice to have french fries air fried and not dripping in oil. The convection oven part will could my meal is much less time than a conventional oven. And it is a very smart looking appliance that would make me feel like I’m a great cook! Lol

    • With the Breville Countertop 3-in-1 Convection Microwave I would use the airfry to make crispy cauliflower “wings”!

If I were to win the brevelle 3 in 1 oven I would waste no time in trying out my apple crisp recipe . turning on my large oven heats my small kitchen / living room area sooo much, and stays heated for a long time afterwards …I use only macintosh apples .. or honeycrisp ..they are crisp and tangy . peel and slice ..keep in water until topping is made …in my topping I use softened butter, brown and white sugar , vanilla , cinnamon, oats ,flour and that’s how easy ..just don’t forget to drain apples well and pat dry with paper towels …mmmmm whoever does win , should try this out …hopefully It will be me though lol gl to ya’ll xx

  50. The first thing I would cook in this would be ‘fried’ chicken . I have a recipe I love for oven fried chicken , but I think an air fryer would give it a crisper finish .
